    Very good content sis. I need ur advice as far as using protein before the neutralising shampoo is concerned : don't u think the relaxer is still processing in the meantime with the protein on ? . My fear is over processing my thin hair. Pls give me ur point. Sorry for my english. French is my 1st langage. Xoxo

      Hey hon, My friend that specialized in relaxed hair for almost 30 years brought this to my attention. She mentioned that it makes the process easier for the protein to penetrates your hair because the shaft is open after you rinse out the relaxer. Whenever you apply neutralizing shampoo the shaft close up, so the protein won't get to penetrate as much. It makes perfect sense, because the relaxer that I use from dark n lovely, in the steps the protein treatment comes before the neutralizing shampoo. Check it out ,it's the dark n lovely triple silkening relaxer. Your hair won't have any damages doing this, when you rinse out the relaxer it dramatically slow down the relax process. It not like you are going to go a full day not using the neutralizing shampoo. I have been doing this since November and my hair is doing fantastic. ❤️❤️As you can see I'm not bald headed and have damage hair. 😁🙌🏾

    I find that my hair breaks more if I air dry it. I find that blow- drying my hair once a week after my wash reduces shedding massively, and reduces tangles the whole week.

    You're following the haircare situation to the T which is so good because we break the relax hair rule and we're wondering why we're not seeing progress stretching the relaxer pass next never over deep conditioning the Hair Etc. you said on the relaxer box it stayed six to eight weeks which is true. When it comes to deep conditioning we overdo it one hair care expert on UA-cam said follow the conditional instruction if they tell you 3 minutes it is for reason they know that their product will work within the time

    • @samminu
      @samminu  3 роки тому +3

      Hey I have never use that product before. I tried researching and I saw African Best Mayonnaise Leave In, I'm not sure if that's the one. I would suggest using that leave in or Aussie Leave In Conditioner as your leave in conditioner during your wash day. And use a glossing polisher or serum twice a day. Don't use any moisturizers, they are not for our relaxed hair.

      I will suggest getting a trim every 2 months. At times you just have to manicure ends a bit, no in depth cut. That's what I do. And make sure to deep conditioning your hair every week. And apply your glossing polisher twice a day and place emphasis on your ends. Wrap your hair every night before bed and use a silk or satin scrap or bonnet.

    I thought relaxer should be applied to 1 inch new growth. My hair grows a quarter inch a month. So Im thinking every 4 months will work but i will relax if my hair is unmanageable and breaking at 2 months if necessary. I deep condition with heat im trying heatless styles and leaving it alone sometimes under wigs, and scarves. I just was natural 10 yeara and prior I never cared for my relaxed hair...im doing it differently now! I want belly button length, im 31 and scared i wont reach my hair goal b4 i die.
