Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. Living in Australia, and now being too old to travel, I really appreciate being able to see, hear and almost sense this wonderful loco. 😊
Excellent footage there Liam and Phil of Clan Line. She looks superb and sounds amazing especially on the Pullmans and even better no diesel on the back.
Well done Liam and Phil very good camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on UA-cam bye for now Philip
They literally don't though, it happens less often than people say it does. And Clan Line didn't need one on this run because it was going to Bristol to be stabled anyway and there was a generator coach they could use that didn't impact the load too badly.
I'm sure it does. And I completely agree. I'm saying diesels don't 'shove the rear' as often as you think they do. Just because it's there doesn't mean it's doing all of the work all of the time. Clan Line would've sounded exactly the same had 67006 stayed on the back.
Clan Line is a nice engine, but I don't love her. I can't hear her approaching from miles away, because she's too quiet. One reason why I'm at the other end of the scale, with God's Wonderful Railway. Show me a GWR Manor hard at work, and I'll show you how much I truly love her.
Wow, wow, WOW. Who, in 1964 would have thought that in 60 years a merchant would be hammering along the main line with a dozen pullmans in tow?
This is just fabulous, and it’s always such a joy to see the last coach goby without a grumbler behind it.
We all should be very grateful to see all these magnificent machines at work on the network, no matter what your preferences are
Absolute hellfire from Clan Line what a way to return to the mainline.
Wow, 12 up and as smart as can be, plus the sound what more could you wish for? Stunning.
What a tremendous effort from Clan Line Liam, all superbly captured by you both as always.
Absolutely superb - videography and CL. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely awesome! Going over the top of the bank with 12 on and still blowing off!
Excellent video Liam and Phil. Great performance on her first outing. And looking fantastic. Kind regards C&A
Thank you liam and phil for your first class video regards kevin😊

A pity that DB don't do more steam work, as their crews seem to know how to get the best out of locos.
Did anyone notice the lack of smoke compared to its smaller brother Tangmere which always looks like it's burning old tyres?

Great settings and superb videography
Absolutely beautiful
Liam & Phil, Nicely captured, great locations and well worth the trip south. Regards, John
Brilliant filming of a true 'Giant of Steam'. I remember watching her depart from Basingstoke on that very first run 50 years ago!
She's a beauty!
Nice to have clan line back in action
Super video :)
Great stuff !

Great sounds! Just shows how different they sound without a diesel doing half of the work.

@@Matty_1843 Sorry Matty, but this sounds WAY better than any Bulleid I have heard with a diesel shoving the rear!

Nice videos
Was this on 27 April? If so we saw her at Victoria on our way up to the NEC.
