It was awesome experience for me to join their show in Osaka Japan during this tour. Surprisingly the show was sponsored by famous singer,Saburo Kitajima, of Japanese traditional pop called Enka
37 people disliked this video. Can you believe that? They should keep walking and probably find happiness elsewhere. Pure bliss. Genuine showmanship from one of the most important musician the world has ever seen. with hands down the best band in Africa circa .1981-1985.
Saw them on this tour when they were in the states. Bar none, one of the most amazing shows in my 40+ years of concerts. Never experienced a better audience response either.
I’m proud to be a Yoruba man! One of the ingenuity of the my ancestors is that they are able to invent the talking drum! A means whereby you combine rhythm and lyrics into a beat! No other culture till date has that. I’m here dancing at work!
He who more is given more is expected that is why no other language in the world can exalt God like the Yoruba language because the Yorubas are the only people given the spiritual revelation of the significance of HEAD(ORI/GOD) hence when one is down the Yorubas UPLIFT the spirit by invoking ORI-KI.
Omg this is too indigenous 🥰🥰🥰 this sends me home 🏡 Africa is great 🥰🥰🥰 2022 still here... Nigeria to the world, yoruba to the world 🗺 Africa my world 🥰🥰🥰🥰
People, that is Alhaji Tiamiu, the great Ayan, on the talking drum. Sunny Ade is great, but Haji Tiamiu was the man! He had such a convincing command of the talking drum like no other. Thanks for posting this video, Fusabue
Wow! The showmanship! The singing & dancing! The love & appreciation for his bandmates. Such is the genius of King Sunny Ade; a man we can all learn from. Baba, o, ori idobale ni mo wa, o!
I can only recognise King Sunny Ade himself, Alhaji Tiamiu and the other talking drummer who based in the US presently. Wow! They all put seriousness and commitments on the job to make millions feel happy. More blessings.
Ksa never ceases to amaze me.... although I wasn't born at this year but I listen to all his great song till date...my mentor..he made me fell in love with 🎸 guitar
With Tiamiyu and Rasaki on talking drum, Bob ohiri on the tenor guitar and KSA himself rovedancing to dictate the pace, this one of the best of his overseas performance.
Outstanding music , watch the Guy (The Best Dancer) at 2.33 and the changeover to Tiamiyu at 2.41 onward's when the Master Drummer Timi in his sublime element took charge , Unbelievable music and practitioner in their primes . What a show.
Can anyone explain to me why King Sunny Ade seems so relentlessly determined never ever to give any of his African Beats any credit whatsoever? I just wasted nearly an hour trying to get Google to supply a list of the personnel of the New African Beats in 1989…and found it impossible to learn the name of a single member of either the original or new Beats, in *any* year. I can find out the name of anyone who ever blew with Ray Charles-but not one who played behind the most successful African musician in the last 50 years! Would somebody please tell His Majesty to credit the people who make him what he is? Some of them might like to keep working after he dies or retires.
This is not true. Aside from the fact that he lists them on his CDs… if you check his Wiki page and check up those albums, all personnel are all listed with their roles. Below is one of them: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchro_System

OMG! They were so young then! I pray they all live long to enjoy their fruits of labour.

Check their class and values. Perhaps they do not belong to this line of heritage. Proudly KSA Fan
Maybe they can't read or write, or probably they can't interpret the likes and dislike icons..
Yoruba!
All foods for me
God bless you,its blissful 💜

I remember listening to his music growing up and listening again now gives me an unexplainable joy 🤩 ❤
No one plays Hawaiian guitar like ADEMOLA.
Google Hawaiian guitar and Demola's name will pop up.
He's simply the best.

you can get KSA's personnel on his album sleeve or CD
