I love this track. This kid - man is simply the greatest musician, composer, guitarist and instrumentalist of all time, bar NONE even though this track was released almost 40 years ago. Late Michael "Jacko" Jackson, Elvis Prestley, CCE Obey, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley etc didn't and could never have played rhythmic music to this incredible level. Almost 40 years down the line, the likes of Emperor Pick Peters, YK Ajao, Ahuja Bello at 80 etc are still trying to model and rise up to this standard without success. KSA is an undervalued Yoruba genius of this generation. He is simple the best and greatest musician of ALL time across ALL jurisdictions. Yes he is and that is without even taking his other numerous works and tracks into account.
I wholeheartedly agree with you and I have raised this issue of his undervalued talent on my social media account before but I concluded that his lack of proper academic background contributed to this undervaluation.
I wish I could agree more with you. KSA is legendary. The indoctrinated and fake modern world does not celebrate anyone who is not "educated" enough to be a puppet.
I have spent nearly 20 years looking for this track but because i didn't know the title ( i am not yoruba) until i stumbled on it by pure accident while scrolling through Sunny Ade's site
@owolabibamidelesu day.Uparalled artistry, oracularly proverbial and Davidic in excellent delivery OMG--music extravaganza The greatest juju musician ever. Ishola Adeniyi Adegeye is Devinely enthroned .To God be the glory!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is another master piece from one of the greatest musicians on planet earth. King Sunny Ade is special,he started life from the scratch ,in one of his epic story in Agbaletu,a TV interview we knew how he travelled by foot from Oshogbo to another town due to his passion for music not knowing he is the God made not for the black race alone but the world as a whole. Your music brings joy to me and my family everyday. Sometimes when I am down , my wife play your music to raise my spirit. Nigeria in particular should be proud and continually thank God for making this legend,King Sunny Ade , a Nigerian. All your music's are God made ,meaning they are inspire by God. Due tothe happiness your musics bring to many people in the world, the God Almighty will prolong your life,He will strengthen you and the entire African Beats in Jesus name (Amen) Love you my King. Looking for to seeing one day.
This is it.."Olomode melo".by the King himself...my best..the drums..the guitar work..the rythm.. lyrics... ultimate...!.. Sunny Ade..am one his " die hard" fans right from my undergraduate days in the early 70s..
The music is superb and will stand the test of time for years to come, the strings and sounds in the background is incomparable and very soothing to the ears. One of the best ever!

Evergreen music.
Excellent composition with superb lyrics.
The Master in music
What amuses me about these juju musicians is the ability to use proverbs and incantations to sing. They are just too talented

It came across as a great annoyance, like a pest.
Totally agree. I wonder what this potentially delightful piece will sound like if a talented sound engineer can remove the annoying synthesizer .
The experience or the technicality may not be available then. Take what was available then.
@@luckyduado9950 Yes it was. You clearly have not listened to any KSA recordings from the 1970s onwards.
