The fact about Tranquility being reversable is actually brutal. Imagine how many lives were twisted and shattered because of this. F.e. Carl (Anders' friend from DA2) is a great example of how everything could be different if only people had access to knowledge such as this. Tragic, for sure
The Tranquility reversal thing is not just proof that they can in fact make mages immune to demonic possession, but also that the lyrium addiction of the templars is entirely unnecessary - Seekers get made tranquil, then have it reversed, and get the Templar abilities. So the entire "Templars must nosh on lyrium to use powers" is BS from the very start. Thedas is not a very nice world.
In lore, seekers aren’t supposed to have templar abilities, but a different set of abilities entirely. Cassandra being in game templar is not really lore backed, just like Dorian as necromancer or Iron Bull as reaver.
So regarding Tranquility. Anyone can be made Tranquil. What is does is sever the connection to the Fade completely. Its more useful against Mages as that makes them lose the ability to use Magic. To non Mages, all that would do is make you unable to dream or express emotions. It serves no benefit to just make anyone Tranquil, its also an effective fear tactic against Mages in Circles as well. I believe only Dwarves cant be made Tranquil as they are already disconnected from the Fade. Tranquility became a useful tool to control Mages, and give society some 'solace' from the 'big bad scary Mages' by having an effective threat against them.
Little tip: the goldish-black skills from skill tree can be used rarely and are very powerful and useful in fighting dragons for example. It's worth to use them. You can also change in tactics for your companies to use them when they are charged or just click them manually in difficult fights 💛
The story we read about how Corypheus became Corypheus was found in the Fade; a memory from one of his servants. The same memory also made mention that Corypheus, before his apotheosis, was plagued by terrifying dreams; a not-too-subtle suggestion that Corpyheus and the other magisters were themselves being manipulated by the Nightmare.
52:42 The bonuses on armour come from the Arm and Leg attachments. Same for weapons with Hafts and so on. If you find armour/weapons you want to give to someone, but like the bonuses on a different piece, you can swap out the attachments at the Modify Armour and Weapons stations in the Undercroft. You can make your own too if you want to play around and see what you can get. There's some legendary gear where you can't do that, but it's a great way to pick the gear you want and keep them sweet buffs
Oooh, if you want a slight more characterization from Blackwall or Sera, pairing them up in a party could offer fun insights that's not just about Wardens lol, they're quite funny together like a dad bantering with his daughter. Same with Bull and Dorian, they're... spicy. I dunno if you're past the point where you can trigger something between them though (Bull/Dorian) I think most people miss this chance unless they specifically go for it. One tip I heard for more party banter general (Even with the mod I think) is to try changing party members on campsites more often instead of going back to Skyhold to change members, I think that resets the timer for party banters. If you have Ironbull/Dorian/(Any member) or Sera/Blackwall/(Any member), etc., try switching the 3rd member to anyone to in campsites to encourage banters more often, I think it might even trigger instantly sometimes.
Watching you recognize Aveline was a blast. Cassandra comes off like an automaton very often (you could blamd the tranquility), but there is so much more to her character and her romance is arguably THE BEST in the entire series so far (even when competing with Dorian and Bull). One curious detail though: Please don't get this wrong, but I watched at least 5 people react to Dorians meeting with his father. But only girls chose to walk out on him. All of them in fact. That is not to say having them talk is necessarily better. Dorian will be no less hurt. But having been neglegted by my own parents and virtually entrapped in a brutal mobbing situation (after abuse outside of the family) for years, I know how hard it is to be let down brutally by your parents when you really needed them. Also the line about "screaming on the inside" hit hard and very close to home. Anyways, just my unbidden opinion. It's been a blast watching and I'm looking forward to more❤
I am like, please unlock their ult!😅🤣 Inquisition is my favorite rpg, despite the flaws here and there. Don't ask the inquisitor to go pick elfroots please 🤣 I mean, why are all ur people there for 🤣
"Why does it want me to get rid of her." It's an option for those who get tires of Sera being a child. I was not a fan of her myself, and almost kicked her out once over a specific event.
She does seem to be stuck in stasis. A lot of us that have gone through the phase of idolizing our colonizers, but even in that phase there would be some degree of resentment towards them, but eventually - if you had any sense of justice - you would realize the mistake, usually before adulthood. However, she seems to be permanently stuck in that stage despite supposedly being so strongly "for the little guy". Sera is also too hostile for what she's supposed to represent. It's okay to be disinterested with reconnecting with your stolen history and culture (that's a very common sentiment) but she takes that disinterest into outright hostility towards those putting in the work of restoration, therefore doing the work of the colonizer for them. I know people like that, but those people are completely self-interested and see the work of restoration as a danger to their comforts; they certainly would never go to bat for any "little guy". Her outlook would make more sense if she was also vying for a position of power. Perhaps that's where her sudden interest in the Inquisition and the Herald of Andraste comes from: a desire for power and authority in a way that allows her to play the games of nobles while still being able to employ the resources of the Red Jenny's, but she doesn't seem smart or practical enough to do that; her membership in the Inquisition survives purely on the power of the player that just wants to romance her, see her story through and/or doesn't want to give up party options. She's meant to be a complex character, but sometimes in trying to make a complex character, you end up making something that doesn't make sense, even for a character that is meant to be a contradictory hypocrite.
@@yannym4605 Anyone who says 'colonizer' with a straight without understanding the nature of humans to want a better life in general and just goes right for 'Colonizer bad' just loses credibility for me. At least, the way you're typing makes it sound like you think empires are bad. Do you?
Feeling jittery? Have you had a sausage roll yet? Say it ain't so! They cancelled Dead Boy Detectives? Noooo, I hadn't heard. I swear I'm this close to cancelling my Netflix. Kaos is cancelled and now I hear this is too!🤬😢 I enjoyed Lockwood and Co, and disappointed it wasn't renewed, but Dead Boy is better, IMO. Netflix is creating a self-perpetuating cancellation cycle. People have got so jaded with series being cancelled after 1 season that they won't watch the first season until they know a second season is going to happen, but then Netflix looks at the viewer stats before deciding to approve a second season and see that viewership is below expectations, so they cancel.
No I did not have a sausage roll 😂 but that would have fixed everything aha And I know we it's so annoying how they cancel everything before even giving it a chance rip makes me so sad 😢
Hey Kiki! Im so happy how far you’ve come! I remember when you were getting jumped scared by the spiders in the mage tower origin on well.. origins. I’ll be watching more of your videos should I get the chance and I can’t wait till you get to veilguard it’s so rewarding to see the characters your meeting rn in the new game! Have an awesome day Kiki!
I'm liking the game...but boy the armors a ugly as hell. Also I absolutely HATE the simplistic inventory system. I can't believe they actually tone down that from Inquisition. I'm having fun and all, but man I expected more after 10 years of development.
You really should have allowed Dorian's dad to finish saying what he wanted to say. You didn't give the man a chance to apologize, which is why he set up the whole meeting in the first place. Dorian's personal story quest deserved the better ending.
I’m so glad you don’t hate Sera, so many people do. I get her personality can be a bit grating but I romanced her and loved her character 😂
I love sera! She's always my bestie lol idk why people hate her sm
She has some serious self hate issues, though.
I thought about romancing her as an elf inquisitor, but I've heard that its nearly impossible to keep liking Sera if you do. 👀
@@Te3time She's an annoying child who never learned to grow up, is why.
@@sanctimoniouslocke3941I romanced her as a Qunari so it was quite easy for me 😂
They are SEEKERS of truth not sharers of truth lol

I 100% agree it really was a shock for me 🤯

I really love Cassandra's guilty pleasure quest 😂❤
Krem representation its so good and well done, it makes me so happy, wish other games knew to do this way ❤
No thanks. I don't need more lecturing in my games.

Don't feel that you should have to explain your actions, you are our leader, we follow you to whatever ends.
The best team for Dragon hunting is usually Blackwall, Vivienne and Sera. But only if you the Ultimates on their Specializations unlocked.

Please keep asking sera about the companions as the missions progress, you'll get some great banter
Cassandra is a really good character. Decided to romance her after that side quest.
Denyla hates to see a Hinterlands bear coming
If you ever play a second playthrough you might consider giving Dorian a boyfriend

Cass was made tranquil because the process of reversing tranquility grants seekers their templar-like abilities.
