Oh I really liked that mission. Also, do not worry, enjoy the game at your own pace. The side quests (especially those linked to the party members) are part of the experience.

I'm 100% with you about that damned timer. I like to take my time with these things, but I felt like I was panic-running the whole time I was exploring the other wings. x.x Maybe there's a mod to fix it. I'll have to check if I ever do another playthrough.

1:55:00 Leliana's cynical approach to Celene is more understandable if you read the novel 'The Masked Empire' which shows how ruthless Celene herself can be. Like Gaspard, she has lots of blood on her hands. And ofc she is thinking strategically about the advantage of having a grateful Briala and Gaspard on side.

So... there was an option to have Briala and Celene to "get back together."

There's one mod I really love using with this quest and it's the one where all your companions are invited to the ball, and it really feels more legit than vanilla to be honest because you would still have your main party but still be able to talk to all your companions in the ball. I think they all even have the ballroom callout introductions though it is a bit long. Maybe on your next playthrough you can add this mod, and I think there's one as well that allows you to wear dresses or other clothing for the ball.

I believe you can get an option to support Gaspard but it seems difficult to trigger. Instead the common 2 choices are support of Briala or throwing Gaspard under the buss. I wonder what it takes to give that 3rd option to support Gaspard. That is who Cullen and Casandra were in favor of after all.

Morrigan's entrance in this quest is just the best thing ever.

I love how you were debating if the 'magical adviser' was Morrigan or not. That is the best part of this quest, the only part for me. This is one of those quests that people either love or hate, personally I hate it due to the timer. That blasted timer stresses me out so much I tend to put it off for as long as possible. The war table though doesn't bother me as they just sit patiently waiting.

I never had this resolution to the palace's quest. It nearly felt like you were forced to burry Gaspard and support the other two because you only found evidences against him. Rough. Even if of course you were more in favor of them. (There are many different resolutions to this event). It is indeed a missed opportunity for Morrigan and Alistair not to have been in Skyhold at the same time, but it is what it is !

Hello Kiki! Wow, I think I have a new favourite UA-camr - playing these classic games, and just the right balance of commentary, too. Truly a pleasure to watch. I think your next big series to do is the Mass Effect Legendary Trilogy. There's a reason it got 9/10, 10/10 and 9/10 scores respectively. Mass Effect is Bioware's masterpiece - highly unlikely we'll ever see its like again. You would also very much enjoy the two Star Wars games, known as KOTOR and KOTOR 2. They pre-date Dragon Age by a few years, so they may feel slightly dated, but the gameplay, and specifically the stories are timeless. KOTOR 2 is quite possibly the finest literary and narrative experience I have ever played in a game, bar none. I look forward to seeing more content on your channel, and happy gaming!

hey Kiki! you’re probably about halfway done with the game by now (story-wise anyways, including the Trespasser DLC), meaning Veilguard is right around the corner! i was wondering if you knew about the Vows & Vengeance podcast, which is an episodic audio series that follows an adventure/story for each companion in Veilguard, and if you’d react to them after finishing Inquisition, before jumping into Veilguard! there are some inconsistencies in the writing because BioWare didn’t write the V&V scripts, but it’s a really good introduction to the companions before you actually meet them in the game. unless you want to go in completely blind and be surprised when you meet them, i would totally get that!! :)

Kiki since there’s always so many war table missions to do, you should consider getting the complete war table mission mod. It instantly completes it without the timer. That way you can just do a bunch instead of only 3 at a time and have to keep going back to Skyhold

Also that one camp in the Exalted Plains that you can't get to, you have to do the war table mission to open Ghilain'nain's Grove, and then you get to the camp from a little cave/tunnel to the south, by the flag on the map. Sorry you're still sick!

They do say the best dragon killing team is Sera, Blackwall, rogue inquisitor and a mage with elemental abilities that the dragon is vulnerable to. To get to the last camp in the exalted planes there is a war table operation to tunnel through the rocks.

The Emerald Graves is my second favourite area in this game. It's so beautiful.

1:51:00 It is a puzzle. It is supposedly solved by remembering some random event when you were sent into The Fade. If you wish to solved it, and get the reward, google DAI Lion's Pavillion Torch Puzzle. That will tell you the order you need to light the torches in. (just a p.s. It is not something simple like light #1, then #3, then #4, then #2. It is far more complex)

22:53 Kiki, if you have a mage cast dispel magic on rifts when they're forming on the ground, like when they're rising up from the ground as demons try to break through, you can disrupt those portals and seal them, preventing demons from breaking through. If you find two that are fairly close together, you can cast between them and seal both of them.
