"I've had my fill of base construction now," goes and starts another base. 😛 In your log jam area, could you replace those stairs with log holders that would automatically collect the logs so you don't have to worry about the 50 log limit, or will it not collect them from a river? Or maybe remove the stopping bridge and let the logs go off a small drop onto a floor with log holders on it. Falling logs do go into holders so that might work as well.
Love how much detail and care you put into these videos! Changing the mic audio to match the environment you're in is an immersion chef's kiss :) No other SOTF content creator does that!
I love the character change throughout the series, you can see him playing the character and the way he is slowly embracing the insanity. One of the best ways you can see this is when he kills the fingers. He used to be grossed by the spit/slime from them, and now he eats it as a tasty snack, like arms and legs.
I'm still liking this game, the building is just fun and real intuitive. Smalland kind of has more of my attention right now (I'm a sucker for aesthetic building options) and both games are improving at a rapid pace. What a great time to be a survival game fan..... now if we could just get a peep from a pimp on alpha 21......
It bothers me more than it should, but it takes him so long to use new stuff that he gets. Like he hasn't used the recurve bow once and hasn't touched the crossbow sense using it the first time. Also. More logging without the chainsaw? AAAAGH. On a serious note though. I am absolutely loving the series and can't wait for more.
With the new Creeper mutants they can jump and clear the defensive wall, I have tested just making your defensive wall, but 3 rows instead of 2, then palisade behind that, with spikes coming through the bottom. 4 creeper attacks and none entered the base. entrance still holds up, just doubled down on spikes.
I just love following your adventure in Sons of the Forest! Me and my friend are new to the game, but are struggling with a good defensive wall for our base. We did build the spike wall entrance, but enemies seem to rather want to attack our spiked log wall, as it sits closer to our houses. Any ideas? The different mutant attacks are the ones that most often get through (we're at day 40-something)
Just a thought, you could build across the river, like your damn but put the actually housing across. Especially near the water fall I think the view would be great.

Might it be possible to place a row of log sorters on the dam, in the water--in winter if need be--with each pointing upstream, so you can log a *LOT* more before logs start despawning?

I still just can’t figure out the darned hang glider! Every time I fly and try to balance within the little circle, I dirt dart straight into the ground 😒
how long does the hang glider take to respawn? You made it sound like the old gliders never despawn, but new hang gliders respawn eventually at their original spawn locations? Also, do stumps not regrow into trees?
I could assume that people from alaska are more interested in sons of the forest because they are closer to Canada, where the game is supposed to play on a fictional island
Just a thought but if you bring Kelvin up there with you then you could ask him to clear a 20 meter area which would help and move it along faster. Just a thought

Nah this one is a different island owned by a different corporation but in the lore it says something about them being in a bidding war with the corp from the first game for this games island
Ty for your videos. Glad I found your channel. But I still can’t understand how people are playing and having fun. Endnight teased a beautiful sequel for 3-5 years and delivered nothing. The game has nothing to do in it. It’s just 7 days to die now but without hordes or any difficulty.
