Yes I do - to a degree. He was very unlucky today and in Baku, but generally this season Hamilton has simply outpaced and outraced him. How many times other than today has he fallen victim to team orders - I bet it's far less often than say, Schumacher and Barrichello? Mercedes have generally been pretty spare with team orders over the years compared to Ferrari, they certainly didn't apply much during the Hamilton v Rosberg years. But yes, I do feel sorry for Bottas a bit this season :)

Incredible drive from Max and Charles today. Bottas didn't do anything wrong today, but was forced listen to team orders. The race result was technically decided once Bottas let Hamilton by. I admit I fell asleep once Verstappen pitted. I woke up at the chequered flag, but I don't think I missed much.

I watched the race until everyone but the redbulls had pitted, then i skipped 20 mins and positions were the same, skipped another 6 laps and everything was the same, so skipped until the end last lap, and everything was the same so i didnt miss anything and saved a whole hour of my time :D

@Gary Garratt Perez and Ocon was a complete different thing. Ocon was asked to let Perez overtake him to close the gap and possibly overtake KMag. If Perez wasn't able to do so, then they would swap back (which actually happened because Perez made no progress on that). I don't see any bad stuff there. The faster teammate overtakes the slower to maybe find a way to work together as a duo and in that situation, if it works, the one who made it possible should stay at front. In Bottas vs Hamilton was purely because Hamilton was moaning on the radio about a negligent blister, that I don't think it was that much of a big deal, and Mercedes just decided to make both swap positions. What if it was Bottas getting real blisters because of Hamilton? Would he move aside to let Bottas overtake? If the blisters were such a big thing I think the only ending possible would be giving Bottas the win because he let Hamilton pass him to control the tyres' health. In the end, Hamilton only won because of Bottas. 50 points > 43 points? Yes. Does anyone think Hamilton would lose 43 points in this last few races, seeing how dominant the Mercedes is looking on either reliability and overall performance? I don't think so. But I would love to see if Ferrari manages to make up those points and Vettel ending up beeing the champion, just to see how Toto and James and even Bottas would react. Specially Bottas that probably would have been mugged a certain win that was needed to Lewis win the championship and would have ended up not beeing enough for Lewis. Yes I do - to a degree. He was very unlucky today and in Baku, but generally this season Hamilton has simply outpaced and outraced him. How many times other than today has he fallen victim to team orders - I bet it's far less often than say, Schumacher and Barrichello? Mercedes have generally been pretty spare with team orders over the years compared to Ferrari, they certainly didn't apply much during the Hamilton v Rosberg years. But yes, I do feel sorry for Bottas a bit this season :)

Not the very fastest but just the most down to earth solid driver on the grid. He raced all year for hamilton, and now he was fairly the quickest. Moreover strange tactical decision just when he was in DRS of Verstappen.

Incredible drive from Max and Charles today. Bottas didn't do anything wrong today, but was forced listen to team orders. The race result was technically decided once Bottas let Hamilton by.

I watched the race until everyone but the redbulls had pitted, then i skipped 20 mins and positions were the same, skipped another 6 laps and everything was the same, so skipped until the end last lap, and everything was the same so i didnt miss anything and saved a whole hour of my time :D

They are even getting charles next year who I doubt will play the game like kimi. But mercedes took it to another level yesterday. Team orders were completely unnecessary in that race.

Lewis probably had an incline that team orders would come into it and if told "Lewis, if you want to win you have to beat him on the track" What would of happened then, we will never know. You see what happened when he come out the pits behind vetal, breezed past him. Then it would of come down to letting the cars race and then what happens if they touch like the red bulls in Aza, take each other out and vetal goes on to win, a 40 point lead would be a 15. Tbh, end of the day an i am with most people, botas move over to let lewis take the lead and on the last lap lewis hand it back, thats how it should of gone down.
@Gary Garratt Perez and Ocon was a complete different thing. Ocon was asked to let Perez overtake him to close the gap and possibly overtake KMag. If Perez wasn't able to do so, then they would swap back (which actually happened because Perez made no progress on that). I don't see any bad stuff there. The faster teammate overtakes the slower to maybe find a way to work together as a duo and in that situation, if it works, the one who made it possible should stay at front.
In Bottas vs Hamilton was purely because Hamilton was moaning on the radio about a negligent blister, that I don't think it was that much of a big deal, and Mercedes just decided to make both swap positions. What if it was Bottas getting real blisters because of Hamilton? Would he move aside to let Bottas overtake?
If the blisters were such a big thing I think the only ending possible would be giving Bottas the win because he let Hamilton pass him to control the tyres' health. In the end, Hamilton only won because of Bottas.
50 points > 43 points? Yes. Does anyone think Hamilton would lose 43 points in this last few races, seeing how dominant the Mercedes is looking on either reliability and overall performance? I don't think so.
But I would love to see if Ferrari manages to make up those points and Vettel ending up beeing the champion, just to see how Toto and James and even Bottas would react. Specially Bottas that probably would have been mugged a certain win that was needed to Lewis win the championship and would have ended up not beeing enough for Lewis. I would laugh so hard, but I also know there is no chance for that to happen.

They can and do see blisters on tires going that fast. But these tires had barely any blister at all. If you listen to the radio, Lewis simply asked the pit for the position, and they ordered him to give it up. Almost as if there's something in the contract saying they have to....
