I recently bought some magnificum seedlings and it was so hard trying to find sources/help/tips on how to take care of seedlings specifically. So I'm glad I found this, thanks!
Great video, helps me a lot for information on growing on seedlings though i have only attempted clarinervium so far but they have got their first little leaf
Just got a tray of 60 forgetii x mag seedlings. I replanted them into individual pots and I’m so nervous. I really, really hope I can get them to grow and be happy like yours 🥺
Yeah they really are fast growers! I haven't found them to be particularly iffy or anything out of ordinary. You just have to be sure the media they are potted in provides enough oxygen :D
Obviously growth condition matter a lot, but I've come to realiese genetics play a huge role. I've had some really fast growing plants outgrow older "seedlings" in a year.
I hope I didn’t just miss you saying this, but how do you know when they need water? Im about to receive some anthurium vittarifolium seedlings and I’m trying to learn all I can haha
Hi I water them when the pot gets dry and light, I try not to let them dry fully (their roots don't appreciate it much). I don't really water them, rather than sprayin them with water bottle (they get small amount of water more frequently).

Glad I could help! That was the purpose of these "seedling video series" :)

Wow they are growing so fast! Do you find crystallinums are prone to root rot?

wow.. i wish i could get Anthurium Crystallinum's seed/seedlings... it is so hard to get one! envy your greenhouse haha
Hopefully they get more available soon!
About how long does it take for the tiny plants to grow into a more mature specimen?

How did you transfer the germinated seeds into that long container?
The root was few cm long and the new leaf started to pop out of the seed (:
Is it possible to get a new plant by planting dried anthurium seeds? Can you tell me how to plant?
Usually if anthurium seeds shouldn't dry out otherwise they won't be viable anymore. So no I don't think you can :(

@@adansoniia thank you!
Im so curious, where are you from?
Slovenia, EU ☺️
How to get the seeds?
There is no straight answer to this. Know people that are pollinating anthuriums. Keep an eye on fb sales groups (lots of seeds there recently tbh).
@@adansoniia can u please tell me the fb group name?!
How old are these seedlings?
Got the biggest at the end of October!
