It's really interesting how diverse they are! Hybridization does strange things. :)

Hi I have a few cuttings here and there but the prices have fallen so much I practically give them out for free at this point
I watched this video ages ago, and was bothered about a word you used whilst you captioned you shaking the spray paint. I didn’t say anything, because I felt it would cause more issues than it’s worth. I since forgot about this video. Found it again because I want to make a skeleton leaf out of my Clarinervium, and remembered that I didn’t like the word you use. Please don’t use the word “retarded” it’s such a derogatory word for people with disabilities. Even though you didn’t call anyone it, it ruined this video a bit for me. It bothered me because I have autism and have been called such a horrid word before. I just hate the word, anytime anyone says it, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth so to speak.
Well I'm sorry that you were offended by my humour, which really wasn't directed at you or anyone specifically. It's the internet, people will get offended by anything.
I'm thoroughly captivated by the beauty of these rare plants! I've got 3 Thai Constellations that I grew from tissue culture - what a challenge! As an artist on a budget, I can't always afford the real thing, so I've started creating realistic versions of any rare or expensive plant I like, without breaking the bank. haha.
Sounds like a win win! I love Thai's they're such delight to watch and grow. Good luck with your plants and art!
About to prop mine! Thanks for the video!
Welcome! I hope that it has helped!
I just bought a variegated adansonii and watched close to 10 videos from different content creators and I can confidently say this is the best by miles. Thank you!
Hehehe wow thank you so much! Good luck growing your army!
Nice vid
Thank you!
3:14 Omg so many warnings and bad things that can happen if you do that and that and that, this video should be called "think again about anthuriums
Well damn apologies it was one of my first videos I ever made on here. There is a reason people generally find them hard :)
@@adansoniia And my apologies on my typos 😅
@@s0me0nelse my dyslexic a$$ sees right trough them dw 😂
@@adansoniia Anyways I bought the anatorium before of your scarry video unfortunately, so fuck me 🤦♂️🤦♂️ wish me good luck..I bought baby lux * silver blush
have you used yellow anthurium leaves to make skeleton?
Can be done as long as they are not dried and still have some "juice" in them
Aw I wish I could send you pictures of mine and you could help me I don’t want to lose her completely
I hope all is good :(
Not informative at all idk what all these comments are talking about. Didn’t say what it’s soaking in or for how long.
Excuse me but at 1:09 she actually said that the leaves were soaking in water. So I don't know what's your problem 😅 the leaves where soaking a month 👌
To the resuce hahah thank you! Its one of those things which depends on your conditions and leaves that you were soaking. Higher temps = done sooner; thicker leaves = soaking longer etc.
Your plants are so healthy! What is your growing conditions? Temp/Humidity? Do you keep them moist and do you mist?
Hi thank you so much! I've had them in growth tent which naturally kept the humidity and temps up. I don't mist the plants kept their own fauna inside the tent :)
😮😮😮
This is terrible advice, more like ''KILLING THE ILSEMANII''. You should never pull the only leaf on a plant/cutting, there is literally no good reason for doing this, you're just depriving it of the only specialized organ it has for photosynthesis. Worst case, the leaf would have died off naturally but at least the plant would have re-absorbed the energy from the leaf and used it to grow its axillary bud. It can still photosynthesize a little bit from the stem but it's probably running on <5% the energy it would have gotten if you'd kept the leaf on. If you want to avoid stem rot, just let it form a callus between the moment when you chop and when you pot. It doesn't necessarily kill your plant, I usually leave it be, the axillary bud will develop and the original node just ends up dying. Cutting it off will just add more stress to your plant. I'd be very impressed if you actually managed to save this cutting, the stem looked pretty bad from the start but I think that this would have been salvageable with proper care. Also, in what kind of world does somebody trade an ilsemanii (worth a few thousands) for an obliqua (worth $20)?
That cutting have been iffy for probably a month before it came to me so it was a lemon from the start. I did it back then the way I thought I’d be best and my friend also agreed. Seems like you have good luck with stem rot not travelling up to the aux bud and not destroying it, I don’t :). Imho signs of rot are never good to just leave, especially on small stemed, sickly plants that obv cannot fight the infection. This video is old, hence the trade offer.
I use fish fungal and antibiotic treatments. It absorbs through the roots and kill the pathogen systematically from inside the plants.
Do you maybe have the names for remedies? Thank you so much!
Perfect job,. thank you for sharing,. You are using not only the wood plant but also the non-wood plant.., seems you use the Anthurium's leaves
Yes Anthurium leaves were used :)
Where’d you get your carla?
Gift from a friend in US
Have you ever tried neem oil for such infections? I've just got my order from an online shop and all three scindapsus treubii dark form came to me with fungus infection... but now I'm not sure if it's only fungus :/
Honestly no. I've found it hard to evenly distribute the neem oil on the surface since it is hydrophobic... :(
All of mine end up throwing all white leaves :( You might benefit using silica on those monsteras with the brown leaves.
I've heard good things baout silica, but never went around to trying them. In my experience if a plant has too much white for it to sustain for a longer period of time they will brown either way. But yeah adansonii's are sadly known/prone to this sometimes :(
Bonjour quel est votre substrat pour vos ANthurium merci
I use what I describe and show in the video :)
For how much time we have to soak the lesf
Depends on your conditions and leaves: higher temperatures = less time; thicker leaves =longer. I'd say 2 weeks is the minimum (but I do them form 1mo+) and then I try gently scrubbing off the tissue from the levaes. If it easily comes off, it's most likely ready
I'm reporting you for doing that video like you flip enough told someone to send you there private part so like you are so inappropriate like just get off youtube cause you are just so wierd and should stop youtube so just quit already if you are just going to be inappropriate so just stop youtube just please cause you are so inappropriate for you be posting a God damn youtube video so just stop your God darn youtube channel

twas a joke :)
This was soo super helpful!!! I thought the part on the actual stem was where the new leaf came from! Til I just got a new leaf on my crystallinum and figured it out. But before that, I had no idea!! I love antherium bc I feel like they are so rewarding , with how big the leaves get! So beautiful 😍
That's great to hear! They are favourite genus for many!
Awesome 😮 😊❤
Hahah thank you!
I've been using these 36W lamps for a few years now. Although several of my lamps didn't last much longer than a year running 12 hours/day, I will keep going back to these lamps. I notice that in the lamp shown in your video, the individual cells are different from the ones in my lamps, so this must be a newer generation of lamp. Maybe they did a redesign and maybe reliability is better now?
Honestly I have no idea. I am still using the same light mostly for my anthuriums now and it's still great!
Can we collect pollen multiple times from the same inflo, or should we just wait to collect it all at once? I hope someone can answer this, my inflo has started developing pollen, it's been about week, and I don't know if I should be collecting pollen now, and more as long as it keeps producing.
You can collect it both ways. Some flowers produce a lot of pollen and a lot can be lost when you accidentally kick it etc. But sometimes if you are too lazy or a plant doesn't produce much it can be done just one time
What a wonderful and informative video ... Your calm presentation, excellent instructions and nice photography were so enjoyable. I also loved the elegance of the framed displays. I am going to try this out! Thanks so much for creating and sharing this tutorial.
So glad that you enjoyed it 🥰🫶🏻 one of my favorite crafty projects thus far
Hello!! Where do you buy your anthurium?
Hi I've got most trough private sellers on fb/ig, sometimes some specific shops :)
I really needed this content, Thank you! Just ordered my first Papi hybrid. It's good to see there are other enthusiasts here in Europe.
As if this was a thing only in one region of the world 😂

Merci beaucoup pour la vidéo! J'ai trouvé un nouveau passe temps chronophage 😂 Et je saurais maintenant quoi faire des feuilles que je devrait couper. Alors ce geste me semblera moins douloureux. Are you using hot water? 🤔 And, a sponge make the job?
cool water and a paint brush
Hi, my adansonii variegated's new leaves turn minty too. Do i need to expose it to more light for the variegation (silky white) to return
I'd say yes generally :) Sometimes they can be a bit iffy
lol

Where did you get the papi x carlablackiae seed ?
From USA :) I have seedlings if you want any (You can message me on IG)
Could be a a red spider anthurium with the red sinus
Hmmm interesting!
What is the color of your eyes?

@@adansoniia you talking about me?
What percentage of humidity do you recommend? Please :)
I'd say above 50% is ideal for any general plants :) They grow faster and unfurl leaves better in higher humidity tho!
Oh yea for years long before I started riding I have been texting my bestie everytime I go somewhere and when I arrive
Its the basics really!
