i think the breakdown is the period of time. persistent trespassing. i caught them on camera trespassing. i tried to catch him, he attacked i was forced to shoot. I wanted to learn about houses. I enter constructions sights regularly to do. so. I got caught, I ran, they chased me with trucks and guns.. i had to fight...they shot me. Both stories are possibly true. self defense in the moment, not guilty.
You have to understand how the court room works. The defense is preserving objections for appeal. They may seem crazy or "ignorant" to you but if they don't object at trial then they cant use those issues as grounds for appeal later. This is just basic lawyering.
