We have a cabinet that we redid for my cats box. We keep one of the doors open because he is chunky. But the top of the cabinet has a shelf and is styled beautifully.
We did something very similar for our cat!! A throated small tv stand, that fit her automated litter box perfectly, witha hole already in The back. $50 well spent!

I have 2 cats litter boxes on each level of the house. 2 levels are carpeted. There is a mat made to catch the litter and any loose ends. It has a double layer that ‘filters’ the litter so that it can be added back into the box. I purchased this item on Amazon. Works well.

Love this and I’m considering doing this because right now Oreo’s enclosed box is in the office. 🤔 When you own a cat, it’s imperative to clean the box every single day and vacuum/sweep the area. It’s a no brainer if you ask me! Keep showering us with such amazing and innovative DIYs!! ❤️ your content.

I’ve never dealt with smell either. Bestie I think those folks might not clean enough 🥴🥴.
We clean our cats litter tray daily but we still get smells. If we cleaned it 20 times a day we'd get smells. Some cats are just smelly. Possibly diet. She's only a kitten so she's on wet food and can't wait till she's over a year and get her on dry food. Hopefully the smell will be less then. It certainly changed after our other cat went to dry food.

@@maggys1244 my cat has been eating only dry food for years, he’s healthy, never had a problem with him and vet says it’s fine.

Maybe paint a seal on the inside in case they miss or spray.
I thought this too but it has to be safe for cats! 😺 they have very sensitive noses.
