- The secret ingredient in Karls’ vegan chocolate brand, Mid-Day Squares, is viral content. Jake Karls, along with his sister and brother-in-law cofounders, Lezlie Karls and Nick Saltarelli, star in TikTok, Instagram and UA-cam videos, sharing the behind-the-scenes entrepreneurial drama. “We document and show everything- the good, the bad, the ugly of building this business,” Jake Karls says. In 2018 the Canadians cofounded Montreal-based Mid-Day Squares, adding ingredients such as artichoke powder and pea protein to produce more nutritious chocolate. Their fully automated factory can churn out 90,000 bars a day, and sales are on track to hit $17 million this year, more than double 2021’s total.

This feels like an SNL skit.
😂😂
He looks like a pop star. I was waiting for him to sing if I didn’t read the title!
Tbh most protein bars were already chocolate bars. He didn’t innovate or disrupt anything
Is it me? Or did we not get any actual visual branding of his company throughout this feature? 🤔 Instead we've seen stock footage of a stack of brownies, and a Billboard magazine-styled shoot in the vein of an EDM DJ highlight. This entire thing feels off.
This got to be a paid ad by this man
I think he is Instagram model 😂
Lots of BS from this guy. He's successful because of his family, not the other way around.
link what u found
tbh anything I’ve tasted chocolate without sugar usually tastes like sadness to me and that makes me sad. I can’t buy treats that make me sad.
What's the name of the product? What does it look like? 🤷🏽♂️

too much drama for chocolate!
Amazing video and thank you for breaking it down!! Despite the economic downturn, I'm so happy 😊I have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $7,000 investment every 12days.
Wow! How's that possible please I'll appreciate your assistance on how to go about it.
That's awesome. I dealt with crypto last year on Robinhood, tried some index but didn't take it out so I lost it by the end. Any consistent strategies?
She is also my personal trader, crypto analyst and account manager. With an initial invested capital of $8000, it yielded returns of over $22000 within two weeks of trading. I was really impressed by the profit Actualized
Trading with Benito's strategy is nothing new to me, I opened a trading at $5K, and I've been able to scale to $18K in two weeks
Crypto Trading remains a priority, I'm proudly a huge beneficiary of Benito Revilla services. About a month ago sold most of my stocks at a lost and took what I have and reinvested and those stocks were green today. I gained over $30k.
What is the name of his company
Tik tok chocolates
This is my first awareness of this brand and throughout his whole introduction…personally, all l was waiting to hear is who and how they source their cocoa. The chocolate industry is notorious for not being equitable for the cocoa farmers…and l was almost excited that this could be a brand doing things differently and addressing failures Big Choc had failed.
Same here I was dissappointed, they are just money hungry guys as well
Exactly what I was thinking too.
Im just... VERY wary of CEOs (or whatever title he gave himself 🚩) who solely talk about how much money they've raised, yet lack evidence of a company which shows *ACTUAL RESULTS* to their "industry disrupting" philosophies. And then he talks like a lifestyle guru towards the end... weve seen this before. Somebody call American Greed!
So much excitement about chocolate...
This forsure not a real chocolate brand. This is a fad for him. Using his IG look to sell product
I nope tris not end up as sbx end
why does it ALWAY seems like a colonizer from a world that doesn't even import chocolate says things that Africans and people with the resources have said all these centuries get to be in the spotlight?
He should’ve went full Willy Wonka
Mr beast is doing a fantastic job at disrupting the chocolate industry
