That spa was so fancy! I was surprised to see them using Tibetan singing bowls. They really were focused on not only your physical relaxation but mental relaxation. It looked like a really an interesting experience! That hotel also looked really beautiful. Btw Dan your reactions whenever you taste food or drink is priceless! Hahaha Thanks for bringing us along! Can't wait for Part 2~^^

I had privilege to visit China 20 years ago and thought my hotel was heaven, but this does take it to the top level!

A lot of stuff has changed over the past two decades.
From new subways and international airports to an expanded network of high speed and standard railway systems, supertalls, industrial clusters and even new technologies.
This hotel room and spa is beyond beautiful. The room seems so calming and peaceful...and the gardenview... without words.
So much style and beauty in the spa would overwhelm me,but I would accept the challenge. 😉

Wow you are so blessed to be able to have these travel experiences. I only wish I could go to just one of those fancy places! I feel like I was born too early!! Although I am only 62 years old, I have health issue a that keep me from flying so for now I have to stay grounded and live vicariously through your travel vlogs!

Oh look at Dan taking us on a luxurious trip and sightseeing ! You really captured the atmosphere of the interiors and activities. Seems very creativ and sophisticated interior design - love the water tap combined with a little shelve over the bathtub. The gifts for the guest were incredible, must have been custom-made for Four Seasons specifically.

One of my FAVORITE HOTELS IN THE WORLD ----- DOESNT MATTER WHAT COUNTRY, "The Four Seasons Hotels" are 1st class.... very comfortable with great AMENITIES! THEIR STAFF IS AWESOME..... THEY TREAT YOU LIKE ROYALTY

Omg the garden view is actually wonderful ❤ but nothing can beat the spa and bath that they had for you , spas are always so nice it refreshes the body and mind 😌 overall the Hangzhou four seasons hotel and all the people they are really kind and welcoming ❤ thanks for sharing your experiences, i hope it will help me if i visit China someday! If you can do visit Bangladesh it's our country another one from Asia and it has a lot of tourist attractions and really cost friendly , i will be happy to meet up if you ever travel to our country 😊🌼 take care 🙇🏻♀️

Great showcase! If you don’t mind me asking, considering that you were live streaming onto Instagram, did you use a VPN or is the West Lake region a special region without the Great Firewall?
So this part was a little confusing for me but yes I had to use VPN while I was there but on my second trip I used roaming service from Korea and I didn’t have to use VPN - unless I connect to the wifi.
@@ThizisDanny Ah I see, the roaming strategy is actually the one I most often use in China! To clear up your confusion, the reason it works is because roaming protocol makes it so the data from China is routed to the country of the cellular service (South Korea), which then processes the data and sends data back to China and back to you. This is a telecom standard that serves as encryption because cellular services don’t trust international carriers. So really, the Chinese cellular service being roamed on is just a middle man that transfers data between you and South Korea. I asked you if West Lake is a special region with Western internet access but I suppose it isn’t based off of your experience. Thanks for the help!
