In all fairness we all know that you can't go wrong with either choice. If I had 20k to drop on a car right now I'd have a hard time picking between an 04 Cobra and a WS6 trans am because I've wanted both cars for a very long time.
Choice would be easy for Me:

03 cobra is faster sounds better and has a fully built motor its a easy pick lol

I'm on my third Trans Am. I've had other muscle cars and quite a few sportscars. Trans Ams, by far, are the most fun to drive and I could listen to the engine all day.

Have to say, that poncho isn’t stock. I was around these cars when they were new and watched the terminator cobras eat those F-body’s no matter what. Dig, roll, it didn’t matter. Say what you want, but between those two cars, in that generation, the Cobra was just plain better. Flame away… I was there.

I've raced lots of 03 04 Cobras and a few 2015,16 GT 5.0 and never lost in my 02 WS6 ramair LS6 TA.
@Andrew V Both of you need to remember you're talking about modified cars racing unmodified cars. The true test of power and speed is racing a stock 02 LS6 trans am WS6 against a stock 2015 5.0 mustang. Only then will the internet know which one is truly faster.
