Absolutely BRILLIANT!!! Wish I'd been there! Remind me to load up the film I took from the Borderline, back in 2001 (whole gig - camera on tripod, and superb desk sound!). Back to this show - Honey Hush is really ace - close your eyes - it could almost have been Mick playing! his son has exactly the same same technique playing theE/G on the two E strings - even the same head-strutting!!!! BRILLIANT !!!
I too am the proud owner of a leather Pork Pie Hat. Good to see Johnny doing a great job singing, it couldn't've been easy. Mind you, if you're hearing Mick's guitar style and tone and look round and see Brad maybe it wouldn't be too different! Great playing Brad, where's Mick's 'Xaviera' Tele - any plans to play it? I always thought the Fender Custom Shop should've brought out a Mick Green Tele...
Is it true that Bradley Green started playing guitar just 10 months prior to this show, or is it just a joke by Johnny Spence ? Because if it' s true, then I' m going to change some of my life beliefs ...
RIP Mick Green, one of the best there's ever been
