Fpr those of you lucky enough to witness this live savor it you'll be proud to tell your grandchildren that you were there
That gave me goosebumps listeneing to every bit of emotion and passion being rung out those licks, simply soul stirring raw blues at its best!
Why this video hasn't been watched millions of times is beyond me.....?!
The most sexiest blues passage!! Thumbs uppppppp!!!
THIS is what I missed! Thanks for the awesome video! Wish I was there!
This is The Turning in History's Wheels being MADE !!! Philip has always been here but I think HE HAS Arrived !!!!!!!
Another great night Prakash.....The videos are a great reminder.
Rick
I want to play a strat again...can't wait to get home and start fiddlin'..that was an insiration,THANX
Very impressive .. Lovely clarity of tone ..
there is a shining of blues on him...
Very Tin Pan Alley. Awesome playing.
@allornada its power tube compression - you dont get it unless you play loud. extremely loud. stupid loud. but damn when you hear it once live, you never turn back! tubes are awsome!
Wow! I was trying to play this while doing something else. Fuhgedit! I had to keep running over to see the video - way too good not to.
@jameshcopeland
to be fair he said it wasnt 'just' technical, it is, but it also has as much passion as Gary would put into it (RIP)
@olaftheholy - please watch Philip being interviewed by Pete Feenstra on this channel.
SRV style!!!!!!!!!!! nice!
@allornada
Full volume and FENDER.
He doesn't use compressor, i think.
@allornada Tommy Cougars amps, my friend. They rule!
@SlingerOfTruth He's a scouser. Is right Jago la!
@KayserStaffay
this guy can actually play a solo... so in what way is it like hendrix?
besides hes more like gary moore than either of them, srv tone i'd say, but Moore playin
@KERCKHOVE123
Actually its more Hendrix than SRV to me....
erm.. dont mean to degrade the top rated comment but it does sound like ' super technical' to me... who ever would say this is not 'super technical' has never picked up a guitar... to make that kinda phrasing/ tone/ fluidity from a guitar is top notch.
@pollymozza This is so true...that means the pure sex to me!
Good but he strayed too much from the blues and into rock. Lost me there for a while. Very good playing though, not to take anything away.
