It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.
Lovely inside and out and those girls are too adorable! I respect the parents giving their daughters the only bedroom, children use they bedrooms differently than adults. We sleep... Kids play, hide, sleep and apparently dance and put on shows! Absolutely genius! The outside space is so well situated and quite stunning and fully complete with everything including a fountain!
I love it that families are finding alternative ways to living instead of debt and trying to keep up.
Live within means . Everything will even out . Some with big ego and money will want a tiny home with all the bells and whistles . Others the majority will just be pleased to have a roof over their heads . In other words , live simply .
I love the conscious honor of family here.
I love how they gave the kids the master and not stuffed them in a tight room with little toddler beds like other couples.
But where do the parents sleep?in the lounge/dining room?

In a house, we call them dorm rooms. Large room with multiple beds, but you give up privacy as you're growing up. : /
I mean... some kids may like bunk beds. It’s just a place to sleep.
We did the same except we did it in our home. When our boys went into their teen years we knew they needed their own space but only had a three bedroom and we also have a daughter so we decided to give up our master bedroom since it was extremely large, walk in closet which we turned part of it to their play room as well. We split it down the middle with furniture and just made each side their own with their own design. They loved it and we didn’t care to be in a small bedroom. We barely spent time there other than sleeping so it fit us perfect. Our boys appreciated it and our daughter had her own space.
My goodness! This is an example of huge creativity, open mindedness and hard work. The way you have it set up is so welcoming and bright. Amazing. Wonderful to see. Thank you for sharing it with us.
This is one of the nicer conversions that I've seen. You've made use of all the space for your family to really enjoyin grow.

This mom has thought about everything. She manages the indoor and outdoor space so efficiently. The place looks beautiful, well organised, neat and tidy. The girls look so happy and well cared for.
By far one of the best tiny living home designs I've seen. It's also nice to hear about the pros/cons of living in a tiny space for more than a few months (two years is amazing!) I absolutely loved their vision for their home and their family.

The white walls, and those mirros make the space seem much larger than it actually is. Nice design, great interiors! Loved it. There's enough space in the bedroom, so the bunk beds seemed unnecessary.
Wow, such clever use of space. And is doesn't look cramped, rather looks bright and airy. I can she's a very loving mum. This family proves you don't have to be money rich to be happy.

We live in a 5thwheel now more than 2years. We have two bedrooms as well and a loft (which is just storage). We have more space here than MOST of our neighbors that live in destination trailers or park models. I love finding new ways to have what I want and still live tiny. GOOD FOR Y'ALL!
Im super impressed with the fact that she revamped the fireplace on her own, it looks great. I love the rainbow 🌈 pavers outside; the yard is so relaxing looking & inside the tiny home is super COZY. Great job guys.

@@aprilgilleland718 I'll second all that, the outdoor living space is lovely, especially the rainbow! When the weather is good, you have plenty of space to spread out, very nicely planned. Your interior is charming, and functional as well.
I'm so happy to see you in the comments, because I wanted to suggest a solution for your kitchen waste - compost! It really disappears in no time, and it's easy to do, even without a 'heap' or a bin. Just keep a big trowel in the garden, and dig in the veg trimmings among the plants. I started doing this when I had a tiny city garden, and was so amazed at how quickly everything disappeared as I made a bi-monthly circuit around the plantings. I've converted a number of townie friends to the system, and they have great results, since it really improves the soil.
Of course, another alternative that might be fun and educational for the girls would be a worm bin, but I've never used one so I don't have personal tips to share. Here are some fun videos, though, especially the time-lapses! ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=worm+bin
Beautiful. Love everything they have done. Some day this is what my husband and I wanna do. Our children are 24,26, 27 .. Its just us now. What inspiration.
I appreciate this right now, designing and organizing 60 square feet with a loft. Just me and a dog, counter/shelf space will double as stairs.

I'm retired, living in an apartment, and thinking, wow, I'd sure like to live in a place like that. You did an amazing job of compartmentalizing, and your interior decorating is just spot on. I think you could be a consultant for RV renovations. One of the best I've seen. But, I'd sure like to know where you got many of your accessories (?).

What a lovely space this family has created. Truly a good design that gives those girls the best sisterhood. I know tiny is hard. Decompressing was always something I tried to do but mostly prayer was all the decompression I could do while tending my hearth and home and working full time. You are so correct in your advice to others. I have watched so many videos. People amaze me. So many good ideas...so little time...lol! Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful job! I love all your touches. Been nice to have a washer but I'm sure there is one close by. I'm claustrophobic so no bottom bunk for me even as a kid, but I do like how you can pull out the bottom mattress or have a sleeping bag for a friend. Very cute!

Great design. Great spot and space. Kudos to you young lady for pulling it all together for your family 👏👏👏. Loved everything you did. Perfect. Years ago my baby boy had a little room he shared with the washer and dryer, lol, and our little girl had our master bedroom. She had the dresser, cupboard, table and chairs, big toys, etc. It just made sense. We had our bed in the dining room area in the small home we rented. Its sensible, not a sacrifice right. Years later having a big house and all the stuff, etc ... well would love a home like yours. Simplicity and laughter and not complying with consumerism. Enjoy!! Blessings!!
Love the layout of this rv. They have a beautiful home.The only problem for me would be not having a place to have alone time.
When the kids are asleep we get alone time. If you genuinely mean alone time, I go for walks to do that. It clears my head and allows me to get some fresh air and move around too.
They did an awesome job. I love the way she decorated it. I don't have kids so I'd want that back bedroom but I could definitely live in something like that.

I think this is my Favorite conversion to tiny living, except I would have kept the washer/dryer. It’s so bright and airy. I ❤️ it!!!!
I wish I had that ability to organize while we lived in our 5th wheel for 2 years with our young daughter. There are things I miss about it, but things I appreciate so much more living in a stick house. Laundry was the worst for us-costing us $150+ a month. The campsite we lived didn’t allow us to tailor our lot into anything nice.

Your home and your outdoor space is absolutely beautiful. Your have what it takes to do this for a living when the girls are older. Your organizational skills are amazing. You put the girls needs first and most people living tiny do not. We have a tiny house but I rent 2 spots so I have the outside space for all of of the kids to play with all of the kids in the park. Beauty and fuction is what you have and is what I’m trying to achieve. Well done. You are motivating me to step up my game. Thanks for sharing.

This is beautiful!😍your work is stunning and all your spaces are wonderful. I've always wanted a tiny myself and I'm so thankful I found it. After getting divorced it was simple to move with my two children into a tiny of about 400sf, which is perfect because of low rent! It definitely more versatile than a very expensive apartment, and you can move it with you! Take care guys!❤
Wow! I love your rv. They way it is put together is excellent. I have lived 6 years in a 29 foot travel trailer in one spot and love it. But trying to find storage is very true. It is a challenge. I love your yard also. Very cozy...
I removed all of the built in furniture from my RV and would love to have that Ikea couch in here now. Which one is it? As us full-time RVers know, everything has to be multifunctional!
