Update: These are now on the LEGO website (after I spent like an hour tracking down & organizing higher-res versions of pics plus correct part counts from all over ). The 2-packs are $45 USD each. Also the *Aston Martin color* is chosen by Aston Martin, not LEGO. That's how that works in business.
Thanks for the update! I love that Gran Turismo is starting to branch out with toy stuff more.
Dare I say $45 is not bad!
Do you have the links to the product page on the lego website?
The fact that Speed Champions continues to one up itself wave after wave is genuinely one of the most impressive things Lego is doing right now
The G wagon looks like a armored vehicle. But that’s what the real SUV looks like so well done LEGO.
Speed Champions keeps pushing LEGO designers to their limits and I love it. That Lambo looks amazing, and it's nice to have more F1. That safety car especially as you noted has some great details on it, might be my favourite of the bunch.
When I first saw that Lamborghini in the thumbnail I honestly thought I was looking at Mega Construx or something, the amount of (by Lego standards) weird angle pieces is crazy.
Can't wait to see how on earth the minifig fits inside the Lambo, especially while keeping the build sturdy
it seems like the minifig is almost in an horizontal position.
@@yomekpiecemaker8764 Yes, but the fig is all the way under the "hood" area, meaning that whole space has to be hollow despite being relatively thin
looks like lego finally saw how many people bought those knockoff vision gt sets
These Lego designers working on the Speed Champions theme are… brilliant! I don’t want to take away anything from the other designers at Lego because they are pulling together very impressive models too, but this is like another level of shaping and engineering in order to make these different cars look unique and similar to real ones. Wow!
The Vantage Safety Car has the same rear technique as the Vantage GT3
speed champions is one of the only Lego themes that constantly improves with each wave, and doesn't compromise on anything. they great affordable sets that are fun to put together and are quite affordable. the price increase imo is warranted because of how complex the builds are
They gave the g wagon driver the karen hair peice im dead
That V12 Vision GT looks SO GOOD. absolutely picking that one up.
Those AMG builds are great. I like those in real life, so its cool to see them in Lego.
Bummer there are no new movie speed champions (yet) 😔
It’s a shame that the Aston Martins are green, while Lego has previously used dark turquoise for the AMG One and F1 set (76909). It would just fit it perfectly!
It's great to see constant progress in Speed Champions series.
The color of the Aston Martin is so disappointing. Dark Turquoise would've been better if not perfect.
I don't like the look of the G-Wagon in real life, but that build looks fantastic!
This wave looks phenomenal. The Mercedes SUV looks like a downsized Icons model, and is probably one of the largest vehicles Lego has ever scaled for this theme. Good catch on tires and rims. Takes me back to the earlier 3 in 1 Super car builds. $60 Canadian also sounds to good to be trues. Definitely excited to get in on this wave. .
As an F1 fan its tempting to get both the Merc double pack and the Aston one too and convert the Merc roadster to be the other F1 safety car
Imagine Lego Speed Champions releasing more sets based on VGT cars like the:
Škoda VGT
Audi e-Tron VGT (or the Audi VGT Gr.1)
Ferrari VGT
Nissan Concept 2020 VGT
Alpine VGT
Mazda LM55 VGT
Hyundai N 2025 VGT
Jaguar VGT (Coupe or SV)
As a newer AFOL I really enjoy the Speed Champions. So much goodness with this theme.
That VGT is absolutely nuts
The G-Wagon looks so good!
The shaping on that Lambo is amazing. I like to imagine it in Metallic Green.
The Mercedes set is my most anticipated set coming out in the summer. It looks incredibly well designed, and the set looks amazing!
Definitely getting the lamborghini V12 Vision GT!
Really glad to see a batch of speed champions sets that will probably look fine without stickers! I'm not a car nut and just buy these for the build experience and then part them out for mocs, so reliance on stickers is always rough for me.
The Mercedes set looks great. The roadster especially is one of the best looking Speed Champions sets yet, the profile of the car and the way it sits looks just right
Missed opportunity to have an Alonso minifigure
As a car guy I also collect speed champions and at least once per week I play GT7 on PSVR2 and racing wheel/seat (basically a simulator), the Vision GT Lambo is a fun ride. The other sets look damn fine too. So Im totally hyped about these.
I need to get the Mercedes G Wagon. I'm excited to see any Lego vehicle made to fit as many riders as a real vehicle does. I've been building MOC vehicles to fit multiple minifigures for several years, with my biggest accomplishment being an infantry squad vehicle that fits 4 in the cab, 4 in the truck bed, and 1 on the roof. I have a bunch of custom printed military-themed minifigures from Minifig Co. and other companies and the G Wagon fits the theme. It's perfect for urban ops missions. I've also built a 7 stud wide generic convertible sports car that seats 3 and the SL63 would be nice to own to compare with mine.
Yikes! 😳 That green is not even close! I’m in heaven with the continuation of F1 cars but I really thought Ferrari would’ve been next, kinda surprised. The Lamborghini is possibly one of the best Speed Champions they’ve made.
HOLY COW !
These summer bricks are unreal
The Lambo just raised the bar for speed champion in a big way.
5:40 Hmm, I knew that technique for the rear lights looked familiar on the Aston Martin Vantage, because they already made an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in 2022. I'm surprised they're making another one that's almost the same in another color. I wonder if that green is going to be darker in real life, like with Saw Gerrera, because it looks very inaccurate in these renders.
The G63 is a brick, no wonder it translates to LEGO so nicely.
Speed Champions designers have been absolutely knocking it out of the park though.
Now this is what i was really waiting for
Nice, glad to get more sets. I'm also trying to collect all the Speed Champions 8 wide sets.
Man the speed champion are getting better and better
I hope Lego Speed Champions does more famous movie car sets in the future
I'm happy that there finally is a big black speed champions vehicle
I hope we get a suburban and suv in the future
Other sets are awesome
The F1 car looks exactly like the McLaren one, just recolored.
For some reason my first thought on that lambo was that it could make a neat Batmobile with a little tweaking and a shift to black - the shaping just looks really clean and good like that. Definitely eager to get it, though less so on the others. might end up just with the lambo and the dark horse from this year's range, though it would be nifty to get that safety car and take off the light bar.
The Lamborghini is a no brainer for me. The AMG set is interesting but will wait on that one.
Good cover video.
I love the double speed cars these look awesome great preview jang 👍
Think the parts at the front of the lambo are blue with green stickers on them
That Lambo almost feels like a sci-fi car. I love it.
I had to hear what my man JANG had to say about these!! 4 ever rockin w you my boi!!!
I wasnt so sure about the winter wave, but ill definitely pick up all of the summer wave.
This wave blew me away tbh
I have a feeling that the build experience on these new speed champions is going to raise the bar yet again..looking forward to the purchase, especially the AM double pack looks awesome in the side on photos.
I do greatly appreciate how Lego tries to make things sturdy. I never want to pick up something and have it crumble to pieces in my hand.
Looks like several new parts on that Lambo set. The sloped parts over the front fenders. I hope they make those in more colors. I'd love to be able to recolor this car in some more colors.
While not a fan of the steep price increase in Lego sets (who is so, duh) I find it much easier to justify it with Speed Champions. Sure, 27€/$ is quite the rise from the 20-22 from barely a couple years back - but you can feel design is proportionately bumped up, if not more.
Fingers crossed for the print & sticker coloring to be OK with that Lambo... Not great, OK will be enough to buy it with a wide smile.
Love how you share your unadulterated excitement, thoughts and sincerity for both new and old stuff, Jang. You're a treasure within modern media!
I‘ll be honest I‘m kinda disappointed Lego couldn‘t get that Aston Martin green. the car looks great, but the color not so much
I am sooooo getting the AMG for the G wagon.
The first car looks do cool 😆
That f1 pack is a insta buy for me!
Regardless of how you feel about the G-Wagon...how can you not be hyped to have a car thaf fits 4 minifigures and have a good amount of detail 👌
The Aston you could do it as a normal road car by not putting some of the stickers on it and remove roof lights.
That Lambo is literally just the Batmobile from Arkham Knight minus the weapons.
Love the Aston sets, although the green is a bold move away from the Aston colours but I can understand the choice to not create a new colour
Diggin’ the Lambo 🫨🫨
I am not a fan of the Mercedes roadster, but I am glad to see a new windshield for roadster. I would like to have a fast and furious supra with the Targa top. They could also do a MX-5.
Awesome
I am not even a speed/car champions fan but i am getting that lambo, It looks amazing!
0:58 hmm, I believe this are stickers too. There is an edge.
So aweosme!
Mercedes set really looks amazing! Would very much like a review for that
1:19 I want to get 2 of these. 1 to keep as it is and the other, swap out the olive green parts for black and give it to Batman.
This looks amamzing. I wonder if all the parts are available in other colours too
When I saw the thumbnail, I almost thought it was the return of Metallic Green parts!!
Is that the first time those Modified Teeth 1x1 Plates have been in a transparent color? Rear of the green car
Those Aston Martins look nice, but also a lot of stickers.
Surprised Lego didn't choose the DBX safety car instead
V12 Vision GT: When the LEGO model > the car
76925 Aston Martin & 76923 Lambo day one purchase
Your voice is so calming
Wow, that Lambo looks wild. Gotta have one!
Cool
These look great and I can’t wait to pick them all up! Although I would have liked a more normal Lamborghini like an Aventador version or Revuelto , the model they chose does look cool. I love the Mercedes and Aston Martin double packs as well. The Geländewagen shape lends itself great to LEGO pieces and they did a good job. I’m pleased with the way they captured the subtle curves of the SL since most German cars have subtle styling that is hard to capture in LEGO especially at this scale. I hope they do more German cars. For the Aston Martins, at first glance I thought they had the color wrong and thought it should be turquoise but on second thought it’s fine. I hope they do an Oracle Red Bull set for Max’s championship car!
How are those cheese slopes connected in the back of the Aston Martin...?? Full of amazing techniques!!
As nice as the Astons look from a building perspective, I don't know why they'd use bright green over the actual dark green that Lego produce. The car's should be British Racing Green not Kick Sauber Neon Green.
The green would have been chosen by Aston, not LEGO, from the available palette. I'm sure LEGO's teal/turquoise was deemed much too bright and bluish for Aston's brand identity management team.
@@JANGBRiCKS Fair enough, but that just makes me wonder why Aston wouldn't choose the same dark green as the one the Emerald Knight is made up of. Maybe lack of available parts in that colour?
The Koenigsegg had wheel covers, too. But I don't know if the G Wagon uses a different type. I got into LEGO much later.
Too bad we couldn’t get a Fernando Alonso mini fig. If only!
No t gonna lie, i really love Lambo's an AMR23 design, they look insane, gotta save some money to bring'em to my country
This is just so fun. I am so excited for this. I don’t buy the SC cars, not that they aren’t cool (No shelf space) But this one I will absolutely find a spot in my home for. I love it so much
4:35 The G-Wagon 4x4 has like barely a single plate of ground clearance. Not good.
I have a whopping 12 8 stud wide sets, that's about the half of the 8 studs (without the 3 new sets)
That am f1 car looks like its 98% the exact same build as the mclaren. Not a complaint but they're definitely nearly identical. Only difference I could identify is the 1x2 slope tile pieces on the rear top next to the big fin going down the back (I know zero f1 nomenclature)
That's called the shoulder. Also the top of the rear wing is different and the bottoms of the sidepods are a bit different. It makes sense that they're nearly identical though because the real cars are so similar.
F1 cars look almost identical irl.
Hate it when people make Mocs for play that are too fragile to be played with. Half of what makes a build awesome is the thought that goes into designing something that’s structurally sound. It’s this aspect that makes however cool it might look all the more impressive. Gotta commend Lego for sticking to it… for the most part
Big fan of the master chief lambo
Lego should definitely start introducing new wheel rim inserts for the tyre parts like those on the safety car. They've been using these and the 5 spoke ones since their introduction. They really don't represent the real life counterparts in this case.
Why they use the wrong color for the f1 Aston?😭😭
Will get the Lamborghini Gran Turismo Vision, won't with both 2 pack sets but that green vantage safety car is awesome, I love the green color and it should be going along the GT3 version very well.
I am no completist and don't do F1 and convertible in my SC collection.
yeah, im gonna get that lambo...
AM F1 looks like a carbon copy of the McLaren one.
Well I guess the same goes for the real life cars.
Am I crazy or does the Lambo have new parts in it? Near the grill and spoiler look to be 1x2 half 45 degree angled parts! Which looks to be a much more versatile alternative to the Nexo Knight shields and 2x2 triangular half tiles.
Are we getting 3 waves of Speed Champions this year? I swear i heard a rumor about another ZL1 race car
