Not a Wisconsin fan, but when I watched this live I got straight up chills. Watching Gus Johnson bobbin’ in the booth, sweetheart Jenny Taft jumping around, and the whole stadium and Wisconsin squad turning up, I had to bob my head on my couch. I was surprised by how much I felt this. Sounds silly I know, but just seeing that many people in unison was pretty cool to see. Plus, it’s an all-time song, so there’s that 🔥

But I can tell you this... all them kids on the screen are smokin' the wacky weed, that's for darned sure. Seriously, I was in my first year of teaching when this song dropped... my colleague, the head speech coach, HATED it. I was an asst coach. We were traveling to Eugene, OR for a tournament, and our bus broke down. One kid with a boom box was blasting this song for the 2 hours it took for the backup bus to arrive, and I thought my fellow educator was going to straight up murder that kid. It was the screeching every 4 beats that got to him so much. When he became our principal, I played it FULL BLAST in his office to "welcome" him to the job. It. Was. EPIC.

Coming from this Buckeye fan and a fan of college football traditions what made this Jump Around so special and memorable, is that it was the first Jump Around with fans post Covid. Because the previous year no fans in the Big Ten was allowed to attend games.
Im from Wisconsin and we love to show the world we love to have no matter what is going on around us. Madison is definitely the best college town around.
I remember watching this game. For 3 quarters I was waiting for this moment, hoping FOX would at least show Jump Around. As soon as they showed it, a whole new sense of emotion came over me. I felt like the University of Wisconsin just let us all know that “We Are All Back.” Thank you from all of us. FOX, you didn’t let us down. From the broadcast booth, to Jenny Taft (sideline reporter) and the whole Camp Randle stadium, THANK YOU!! This moment will always have a special memory. F COVID!!!!!
Went on their campus once for a meeting. Made the mistake of going out the night before at some college bar. Had a blast, but man, did I ever pay for it the next morning, lol!
