Loved seeing "Jeff's Day" which of course includes a little Jordan and Lawson! So glad you showed us your little art gallery. You really have a talent there. So helpful to young couples watching to see how parents work & play together raising their family and brings back memories for us older ones. Obvious from watching how much more relaxed and confident you are as parents now that the initial shock of handling a baby is over. Helps so much when baby begins to really interact with you responding with smiles and laughs. Clearly your home/marriage is filled with love for each other and of course for Lawson. Blessed!
What an awesome episode! I loved it!! First of all Jeff, your special bond with your boy is undeniable! Watching the two of you is absolutely precious, and Jordan, your bond as mother and child is so tender and beautiful. The three of you together is truly a beautiful sight to behold. You both are such amazing parents and work so well together to support one another and your child. I am so impressed as to how the two of you have managed to learn to roll with the punches. For example when Lawson cries, pees on the wall, and you both remain calm and find the joy and laughter in the situation. In my opinion, that s the key to a happy child, family and marriage. Life is a rollercoaster and we have to take things as they come, the good and bad, and you two are doing a terrific job with that so give yourselves a pat on the back! You have a real and loving partnership there and sweet Lawson s reaping the benefits because he s one loved and happy little boy! Jeff, when my husband and I were watching todays episode, we both agreed with you 1000% about the shopping carts! My husband was yelling at the computer and saying "Jeff is right!!" I'm sure you are like my husband who seeks out a parking space away from everyone at Sam's Club or any parking lot for the matter so no one hits his the car. On rainy or cold days, he drops me off by the entrance of the store, parks miles away and walks to the door all by himself as I wait inside! LOL If we all would put our carts back, everyone would be much happier and no cars would get damaged. Common sense if you ask me! On a sweet note, Jeff, I love the way you complimented Jordan on how hard she is working to take care of Lawson and how great she looks. She does!! You have a beautiful wife there and Jordan, I know you mentally feel good when you are working out. I do too, but just know, you do look beautiful already size 6 or size 4. You're gorgeous! I have always heard that if you put a bit of baby cereal in his formula at night, that will help him sleep longer throughout the night! Worth a shot my friend, and Baby Laws is growing so fast! Adorable! To Jordan, Excellent job on the weight loss, but you're BEAUTIFUL no matter what! Remember sweety, you didn't put the weight on overnight, & your hormones are still all wacky. So, don't get to frustrated! I was never able to have a baby, but on my weight loss journey thus far in the last 2 years, I have lost 98 pounds so far.... so if I can do it.... You have this whooped! YES!! Baby cereal! When my son was a few months old I was exhausted but I thought I was holding it together pretty well, until one night he just would not sleep and I broke lol. I called my mom hysterical crying, wanting to know how can I do this, I'm exhausted, when will he sleep?! And she came over right away with a box of baby cereal. Just a bit of cereal mixed with his formula (not in the bottle, in a bowl with a baby spoon) and it kept his tummy full for 6 whole glorious hours.
Yes Selena, thank you for clarifying in a baby bowl with a baby spoon! Jeff & Jordan, give this a try with baby Laws... it's worth a shot so y'all including Baby Laws to get more sleep! Hugs
Yes, I was thinking the same thing, baby cereal. My grandson just turned one, but my daughter was having the same problem. A few baby spoons of cereal at bedtime and they sleep peacefully, because their belly is full.
We gave ours rice cereal, but we put it in the bottle just a couple two babyspoons worth and shook it reallly well. But only thing was we had to make the hole in the bottles nipple just a tab bit bigger cause it made the milk and little thicker than normal. But honestly the bowl sounds better cause only having a couple nipples dedicated to night feedings got to be a pain looking for one when they got washed ,then thinking you had the right one but you didn't and poor baby crying & hungry while you scrounge around for the right one and fussing with your husband cause he took them apart when he washed them and didn't match the color coded lid I specifically chose for that night bottle! OY VEY!! But keep that camera rolling cause we could watch Jeff & Jordan TV 24/7!!!! CBS seriously needs a J&J show! Made by (cough cough) Julie Chen Productions.... It could happen...right??? LOL Love Y'all and lots o baby hugs & kisses!!!!

You two are so sweet. My sisters and I read "on becoming babywise" and our babies were all sleeping through the night by 8 weeks. I'm sure you get a ton of unwanted advice, but I just thought I'd share what worked for us. Once you set the internal clock on when to sleep and eat, the baby fits into a comfortable routine that lasts. The whole family gets the rest they need. My kids are now 9 and 7 and they are the best sleepers.
Honestly I just like seeing vlogs like this! It doesn't have to be extravagant! Loved it! Lawson is just too stinking cute! I think in this vlog he looks so much like Jordan! Like spitting image! You are all adorable!

Jeff I'm with you on the shopping cart!!!! My very first car was a Honda Accord and 3 days after I got it was out shopping and came back with a shopping cart at the back of my car. Scratched and all. There is nothing more frustrating than seeing carts everywhere. I'm that person who goes and grabs the ones randomly and puts them away.
I am with you on the shopping carts. I mean, it takes like 2 seconds to push it over to the holding bin. And I bet those that leave them would pitch a fit if one rolled into their car and scratched it. Sounds like y'all have a good system going with Lawson. The 1st night my daughter slept all night I kept waking up and checking on her anyway because I couldn't believe it, lol. He's adorable and it's easy to see how much y'all love him.

Awww baby laws hair is so cute. My son was born with a full head of dark hair. By three months he was like baby Lawson most of it fell out. It came back in around 6 months lighter and thicker. At 10 months he had to get his first haircut and since then we have had to get a haircut every month. Good thing Jordan can cut hair!

Love you guys! My daughter was born the day before Lawson and there have been a lot of similarities in our experiences. And I work at Costco, yeah, people leave their carts anywhere they please. So annoying when you have to wrangle them from the far corners of the parking lot.
My husband and you have the EXACT same pet peeves lol. He will literally threaten (he never does) to go out and yell at someone who doesn't put their cart away. It drives him insane. Love the videos!!

Jeff I'm with you on the shopping cart!!!! My very first car was a Honda Accord and 3 days after I got it was out shopping and came back with a shopping cart at the back of my car. Scratched and all. There is nothing more frustrating than seeing carts everywhere. I'm that person who goes and grabs the ones randomly and puts them away.

I am with you on the shopping carts. I mean, it takes like 2 seconds to push it over to the holding bin. And I bet those that leave them would pitch a fit if one rolled into their car and scratched it. Sounds like y'all have a good system going with Lawson. The 1st night my daughter slept all night I kept waking up and checking on her anyway because I couldn't believe it, lol. He's adorable and it's easy to see how much y'all love him.

Awww baby laws hair is so cute. My son was born with a full head of dark hair. By three months he was like baby Lawson most of it fell out. It came back in around 6 months lighter and thicker. At 10 months he had to get his first haircut and since then we have had to get a haircut every month. Good thing Jordan can cut hair!

Also I think they should do a video of him doing chalkboard art or an actual painting and I think Jordan should do more make up or hair tutorials and maybe since they both like tv do a vlog on their thoughts about their fav shows. Love you guys! My daughter was born the day before Lawson and there have been a lot of similarities in our experiences. And I work at Costco, yeah, people leave their carts anywhere they please. So annoying when you have to wrangle them from the far corners of the parking lot.
