- After one year of marriage we look back at how it all began. Our Wedding Day at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. What started out as a "silly" formality turned into a beautiful event for us. Follow us on our wedding day as we rush to the courthouse and say our vows in front of a small group of friends and get married in our own Jeff and Jordan way.

My husband and I eloped and got married at the courthouse,and it was the happiest day of my life! We have been married for 15 years already! Time flies! In the end, the wedding doesn't really matter,it's the marriage that is important. You have to love each other, learn to forgive each other, and stay together in good times and bad. I can say from experience, that if you hang in there, the good time always come back around! Lovely wedding! I'm like Jeff. I LOVE to save money! I think it's crazy to spend a bunch of money on a wedding, when you're just as married either way! Plus, I think I read statistics that the more money was spent on the wedding, the higher the rate of divorce! P.S. Lawson is ADORABLE!!
The "deputy commissioner of civil marriages" was super nice and it was a solemn ceremony. 👰🤵💒

Awe, so beautiful! I married my husband at the courthouse, because he chickened out of the. big church wedding! We celebrated our our 53rd anniversary in May! So, you don't have to have a big wedding to have a long and good. marriage!

We just got married yesterday at our local city hall and it was a special moment and an awesome day for us. Watching your videos definitely inspired us and made us felt a little less nervous and knowing what to expect. I wouldn’t trade it for any other day.

You both looked gorgeous and the ceremony was perfect. Not only did you save money but you saved months of planning and anxiety about flowers, guest lists, music, food, where everyone sits, bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc. What a perfect way to celebrate just you two. My husband and I tied the knot at Maywood courthouse. The judge officiated behind the regular bench .Very wooden surroundings . No cellphones back in 1996 for us. Things have changed so much in 20 years. Was real nice seeing your wedding! Thanks
I thought I was prepared for this today, but I obviously wasn't because I went through all my tissues crying buckets of happy tears for you both! Words can not express how much I adored your wedding video you were so kind and gracious to share with us. It truly represented the beauty, deep love and devotion you have for one another. I know it wasn't exactly how you planned, but it truly was perfect and beautiful in every way. You both looked gorgeous or as Jeff said, "fly", happy and in love! Your whole lives were waiting ahead of you! It touched my heart how you both spoke to Lawson when he wasn't even born yet and then you included him at the end. Baby Laws is beautiful in every way and so is the family you have created together! Can't wait to see more baby Schroeders running around some day! This was beautiful!! I watched as your friendship began so many years ago and couldn't be happier for you both. My husband and I have been married for 37 years. A relationship that also started out as a friendship and we are so very opposite in many ways but it's those differences that we gives us balance in everything we do. I always tell people that you have to really "like" the person you marry. It won't always be fireworks and butterflies and in those really difficult times it will be the deep rooted friendship you formed in the beginning that will keep you strong together. Congratulations!! I'm betting this one is forever.

Jeff & Jordan, thank you for the nice video showing that getting married at the courthouse is a very excellent way to go. I was married in a courthouse by a JP in 1994. We fell more in love over the years and we renewed our vows at 10 years by going to the new courtroom of the same judge. She would not take our money that time because she loves love. We became friends with her and she eventually retired. Then on our 20 year anniversary she married us again at her home. We've agreed to keep renewing the vows with her each ten years. It's awesome every time. Congrats to you on your love and your new baby.

That was a beautiful ceremony!! I know it wasn't what you had planned, but Jordan, you are right....things happen for a reason. That little lady said the most beautiful and very real things that are truly a part of a good relationship/marriage. Honestly, it was better than some long drawn out weddings I've been to. Jeff had so much love in his eyes when he said his vows and Jordan...you could see your heart beating so hard, it was like it was about to jump out of your chest! Love, excitement, happiness....all that a wedding should be. The love is what brought you together. That is what matters most. Not how or where you get married, but why.....LOVE! You guys are a great couple and it's very obvious how much in love you are. Congratulations and blessings of many, many more happy and prosperous years together!! Happy Anniversary!! My husband and I started out our marriage the same as you. We got "knocked up" in Antigua instead of Mexico. Lol!! Our little boy is now 19 years old and in his 3rd year of college. We also have a 16 year old daughter. Your love story is one of the best things I've ever seen on t.v. EVER! My husband and I were married at the court house as well. We're military and planning a date for our wedding was impossible. It's so nice to know I wasn't the only one feeling a little down about it not being the wedding we imagined. I look back and wish I would've enjoyed it more but I wouldn't have traded it.

SOOOO Sweet!!! I sat here watching this video with joyous tears in my eyes. I've enjoyed y'all since the 1st night of BB11 and as your relationship has grown over the years. I didn't get married until I was 53 and I loved every second of the planning and my wedding day was the most exciting, beautiful day of my life. This is exactly how me and my hubby got married. We were suppose to get married on the beach in Florida but we found out I was expecting. So we ended up getting married in a courthouse in Ohio. You both are my favorite big brother couple I'm so happy for you both and your baby!

Congrats on your first year. I got married at the courthouse 13 years ago, March 12th. It does save money, nothing wrong with that. Love watching you both and baby Lawson.
