Honestly I think this twist was a major reason why Chima quit. Imagine working hard to get HOH and finally getting your own power in the house only to have that completely taken away from you and have everything changed to be not in your favour. Jeff should've had the power to replace only one nominee. That way at least Chima would've still had one person on the block she wanted. Either that or have this twist be BEFORE the veto competition, so that way those that have been put on the block by the twist would've at least had a fighting chance to stay. Here, Jesse and Natalie couldn't do anything to save themselves.
I love how Lydia tries to hide her giant smile when she is taken off the block. Then, after Jessie is evicted, she is pissed at Jeff (I am sure that clip is on youtube somewhere)
Poor Jessie. He needs to be in a season with no influence from America. They had it out for him. I wanna see how Jessie does without America screwing him over again.

My ONLY issue with this twist was how POWERFUL it really was. It changed the trajectory of the game WAY TOO DRASTICALLY. The level playing field would've been evened out if there was a stipulation such as, if the Coup D'Etat gets used then the dethroned HOH will automatically be HOH the following week. In terms of equal power that seems far to me. With this in mind, Chima could've still been dethroned with Jeff using the power putting up Jessie and Natalie. Jessie still gets evicted however Chima will remain HOH for the following week allowing her to put it Jeff and Russell, at least they would be have a chance to save themselves with the POV. Just my thought!
But one thing that pisses me off America is always the reason Jessie goes home from Americas vote to Jeff coup de ta power. They should give Jessie a regular season without Americas influence and powers and see how far Jessie goes cause I'm curious
America had no say in Jeff using the power. The only stipulation is that it must be used within two eviction meetings. Jeff could have used it on literally anyone.
