  • If you have a sporadic misfire at startup in your ecoboost Ford car, this video should help. All work can be done in about 15 minutes if you know what to do.

Could be useful for beginners so fair play for making this video for others, but please people, don’t put everything back on until you started and tested the engine. If it’s not the plugs, you’re taking it all right back off again to investigate further.

Update, I had a tiny head-gasket crack by cylinder 3. Fortunately half a bottle of K-seal in the coolant tank fixed it. I've driven it over 5000 miles since then and it's behaved perfectly.

If it's still under powertrain warranty bring it in. A good ford service center may replace some of your block free with warranty. That is coming from a former mechanic who helped me. If it's over 60k or 5 years it won't happen.@@Godisgraet

@@FitnessByBob don't use any leak stops, it can cause over heating problems in the future due to clogs

How did you come to find out you had a head gasket problem in the end? Were losing coolant and used a block tester?

Crazy question if it’s a “shot engine” will something like this work?

depends on what it was shot with. a bb gun maybe.. but a .50cal no way... come on dude... if the engine is shot pulling a plug and putting it back in isn't gonna fix it.
