We did this for a song a friend put out and the lyrics appearead on spotify after a week. We're still waiting on instagram and google. Though I have only one worry: I've seen that some distribution services include Instagram Stories and others don't. Tell me if I'm correct, if yours does you'll find your song just with no lyrics, up until you add them with Musixmatch. What happens if my plan doesn't include Instagram Stories, and as of now the song is not available on Instagram, and I add lyrics with Musixmatch? Will the song magically appear on IG? Seems to good to be true.

I did their academy tutorial and it doesn't seem current either. Is the tagging just to help the algorithm? It plays through well enough without them when I sync. I just broke up sections with spaces. Not sure of the benefit of tagging instrumental either. Thanks again!

my problem is that two of my tracks when i try to click add lyrics, it says that the track is not available for the moment as if i had deleted it which is not the case. what can i do?
@@AlizioHerman Yes I did. Unfortunately the app is very glitchy and refuses to get better. So all I could do is wait for a week, uninstall the app, do the spotify pairing again and hope that it has finished processing the song, and repeat the process next week if not. My song was processed after about a month. Hope this helps.

@@jyotinmusic I did have Spotify premium, the problem was that my song wasn’t available for synced lyrics until July 2021 for some reason when the song literally came out in April so that’s why I couldn’t sync them I guess
@@jyotinmusic I think that’s why they tell us new music artists to plan our release months in advance cause Musixmatch takes longer to get the lyric sync available from my experience 😬
For me if musixmatch still says "sync pending" for some reason I have to send it again and it will immediately say "verified" and show up a few days later. so maybe try that

Every time I send the links for verification, it tells me that the two are not connected to the same artist, when the discographies are in fact the same. I don't know what to do with this, I have been using the correct links but get an error email every time saying they were unable to verify.

@@fongne Yeah I did I had to email customer services and they resolved it. You can find their information under contact us. The annoying thing is it keeps happening. Sometimes they will reply that my lyrics have disappeared and I have to start the entire process all over again.
@@milesdakid You have to go to the Help / Support section on the app. Then Contact Us. You have to paste some dubugg information from your page in there (they show you how to do this and where to find it) this allows them to find your account and access it.
Musixmatch is garbage. Spent an entire day inputting, tagging, and syncing my lyrics. Few days later, it's still stuck on Sync Pending. I go in, thinking maybe I need to verify from my artist profile, only to find it automatically removed all the tags and sync. Flipping 10 hours down the drain. Tech support has been useless as well. You'd think it'd be a simple thing to implement, just allow srt uploads and it'd be done, but no, Musixmatch _had_ to reinvent the wheel, and they did it the worst possible way.
@@shadowstranquil I like Genius for inputting lyrics, but it's not linked to Spotify, and doesn't have any sync capabilities, so sadly there's no actual solution. I'd be tempted to program something myself, but without API to Spotify, it wouldn't have much use other than for myself, I could embed lyrics on my own website. If I could get access to my music's Topic channel on UA-cam, I could add subtitles to the tracks there, that would be a step in the right direction. I've tried getting my own channel converted to official artist channel, but that's not happened yet.
I've followed all the directions and I'm still not seeing them on Spotify days later. Not happy, this should be a feature on Spotify artist, not some third party shit services.

Brother your video is a year old and your own lyrics aren't time synced yet for the one you did in this video, Musixmatch is so messed up.
