Less famous than the "other" Panchpokhari but definitely one of the best places I have ever been to... You really are at a loss of words to describe the natural beauty you get to see during this trek. Felt exactly the same as 8:50..
Made me senti... I gathered the courage to trek those places alone from Bhutan and Ngawal indeed was a crowning beauty of the trek. You just missed the monastery above Ngawal village. Yak meat is always tasty once dried and not fresh, super with cheese.

I went to Panch Pokhari from Jiri where I was posteted as a family planning district officer for Dolkha, Ramechp and Solokhumbu district . We were altogether 4 person. Me , dr Gyan Bahadur Shresth of Jiri hospital , mr Shresta and mr Jirel the porter. The year was 2026 Sal. There was no road from Barbise. It took two days to reach to Panch Pokhari. When we went to hight, our porter suffered with mountain sickness. He became blind also. So we camp there and spent the night. Next day was Janai purnima. It was wonderful trip.
