This is our journey to the remote Darchula's Api Base Camp. This april, we trekked to the lesser known Base Camp of Nepal inside the Api Nampa Conservation Area.
And man, it was a tough trek. Although a short distance, the uphills, drastic altitude changes and the landscape made the trek super hard and tiring. But, the people, the culture and the views we witnessed during the trip made it all worthwhile.
P.S. we had drone issues again. We've included some so-so drone shots in the video.

By the way, our bad luck continues with the drone. This time there wasn't a crash, but the app on mobile asked for login when we tried to fly in Dhauli Odaar (No telephone network, no internet, no possibility to login). So, we flew the drone blindly, without monitoring on our mobile phones and the footages were unusable 😪!

My own place that i wanted to visit years ago but not able so far named Guljar, Maldesh, Mountain Api Base Camp, Dhauli Kali Lake etc. of Darchula District . All who are interested in trekking and enjoying new places (specially far western Nepal from reality point of view) are warmly invited to visit Mountain API Base Camp. I am from Malaysia. A trekker enthusiast.
Has been to nepal only once in Dec 2018. Trekking the famous ABC trek. Planning to visit Nepal again after pandemic over.
Just came across one of your vlog with search keyword "Trekking in Nepal" and it is first time found vlog from local Nepal about trekking.
Most of your vlog very helpful (thank to English Subtitles provided).
As a foreigner trekker, I would appreciate if information such as permit required (type of permit & cost) to visit the area. Just put it somewhere in video descriptions would be awesome.

Great Job, yester during a training session 3 of my staff members told me they were from Darchula. I asked them what is the specialty of Darchula. They came back with a name of a temple not sure if this was the same temple you showed but I had no Idea abou Api Himal, now I know and will probably visit some day. Keep up your great work.

As I used to watch Traveling vlogs so one day UA-cam suggested me video of Ghumante I watched that and I liked too❤ and then I watched every videos of Ghumante on UA-cam and then This Api Base camp video came And then I watched(this is 4th time) this While watching this video literally my feelings came out as tears(tears of happiness) as I can relate many thing as I am also from Far West Nepal(Doti), gave goosebumps❤ .And from this video literally Ghumante took my heart❤
The main reason behind people like me loving Ghumante❤ is their natural way of narration, no show off, good information provider, normal traveling as a normal people,Good interaction with local people, pure hearted people❤
