- Need a vase? Need a chandelier? Well this Dollar Tree DIY gives you both in one! It's very elegant and classy homedecor however you decide to use it! Dollar Tree decor can be stunning and this DIY is easy and very cost effective so let's get creating with one of my favorite Dollar Tree crafts!!

Be a People Builder
God designed us to live in relationship with others. He wants us to help each other grow. None of us will reach our highest potential by ourselves. We need people in our lives to encourage us, and we need to encourage the people in our lives and help them reach their potential. The word “encourage” means to “urge forward.” Many times, you can see things in other people that they don’t see themselves. You can see their strengths and talents. You can see that God has a special plan for them even though they may be going through a difficult time. Don’t assume that people see what you see in them.
Take a moment and encourage them either with a kind word or a simple note. There might be a special gift you can give that will remind them of their goal or dream. In whatever way you can, urge the people in your life to keep moving forward. If you’ll be a people builder and help others fulfill their dreams, God will help you fulfill your dreams, and you’ll live in blessing all the days of your life.

"Father, thank You for the people You have placed in my life. Help me build them up and find creative ways to urge them forward to Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen."

Hi, Elaine. This is such a beautiful idea. One thing I'm going to ask you is to please, please, please, when using the burning tool on the plastic spoons, do so in a well-ventilated area. You don't want to breathe all the dangerous fumes. Also, let your followers know about it. Thanks! Keep on Crafting!

other options for the table top centerpiece would be to fill it with water beads and colored fillers or fairy lights for extra elegants.

Lovely two in one DIY, and the fact you show different ways to present it. May I ask do you keep all your DIYs, or do you reuse them? Also how do you store them, that is one thing I have in the back of my mind when doing certain projects. TFS. xxx
Glad you like it! So far I have been keeping all my projects but my house is starting to burst at the seams! I was just talking to my friend today about doing some type of craft fair so I can sell them and make room for the ones that I will be making! I don't like to take them apart and reuse if at all possible because of the work I put into making them. We'll see what happens!

I am a basic crafter, and for instance, I took the glass out on a small picture frame and bought the 3d designs you make up, but what I do I change the design, but file away each one so I can reuse them again, just using the same frame. I also tend to purchase lanterns in different sizes and change them out for different occasions. xxx

What kind of light did you put in it and how?? It looks beautiful either way!! You did a fabulous job!!!
Sorry Tanya! I forgot to mention that and realized it much later. I used the LED push light from Dollar Tree and just stuck it in there using the sticker on the back. Make sure if you do that that you clean the surface with alcohol first before sticking it on though because I didn't and mine fell out!

Nice! Love this project! Love twofers. I think I would like a larger base/topper than the small votive. Was there any other thing at $Tree that you considered to attach the beads to ?
It was a brain racking challenge to figure out how to hang this and still have it look good both ways! That was all I could think of. A bigger base may be top heavy if you decide to hang it but if you want to just use it as a centerpiece then a bigger base would look fantastic!

Hi, I wouldn't feel good about using the pearls.
Are you worried about them breaking? I have had mine hanging up for about 5 weeks now and so far so good! I suppose you could use some sort of chain if you're concerned about that.
