Hi Elaine I made 2 of this for my bedroom. I used slightly heavier trays that I bought from Michael's and epoxy glue to hold them together. For the top I cut metal sheeting I got from Home depot ( actually my husband cut it) covered the two side with reflecting contact paper and used a pendant ligh kit for led lights from Amazon. Nobody can't believe they are not made of glass. Thank you for the inspiration!

Unfortunately, I'm not sure they would hold up all that well outside. The sun would heat up the hot glue and you'd find pieces of it all over your yard! Lol
