The voice overs are definitely better. If someone says it's boring it's because they aren't actually looking to learn.

The tip about doing speed work and a leg workout on the same day stood out to me. I’ve wondered often what the best way to structure that would be but often my legs feel the worst for a couple days following so maybe that could work! Thanks I’ll give it a go.

Hey there, been thinking about starting to run again and came up with this vid and it gave me the will to do it!
Anyone could give me an example of what is a speed workout? For example if i run 5km normal days and a long for 10km a speed would be a faster 5km or…?

Finally a perspective from another tradie! Seems most guys I follow are work from home types, which is fine but man it is a challenge to keep training sustainable especially after a brutal week at work. Thanks for sharing, these are helpful tips and inspiring

Hey mate at the moment it's pretty pricey to get the supps out here to Australia but the crew is working on making it much cheaper in the future.

How do you keep your knees healthy with so much running volume? Do they ever get sore or hurt?

Weight lifting and I have found instead of biking swimming helps taking pressure off the knees. Have had surgeries on both my knees but am able to follow a very similar structure bc of strength training and proper recovery

Whaaat wow, how do you get your heartrate to be 147 bpm with 5:00/km??? At that speed i am already training in zone 4 at 179 bpm. Any tipps on training my heart to become more efficient and train faster on slower heart rates?
I run currently about 4-5 times a week betweek 7-12km always in zone 4-5 (max at 179 bpm)

You’re missing a lot of key things that need to be discussed when structuring your training. People focus too much on single weeks. Look at it from a month to two month perspective. When you say “it’s depends on you”, you should specify what you mean by that. A lot of people will take this, go maybe two weeks and get hurt bad or destroy their body and lose almost all confidence. Everyone needs to start very slow and at a low volume. Adding all these different type of training sessions and runs. You may be able to run 40 miles in a week but don’t expect to keep that same mileage and knock out 2-3 strength sessions on top of that. Just because you worked upper body doesn’t mean the body is not stressed. Not trying to be an ass but a 18 minute video with 12 minutes of VLOG is not close to what you need to cover this topic. Best of luck.
