Fantastic fabulous car. The V6 Turbo with mild hybrid while the mpg is slightly better than the V8, I would prefer more potent power and smoother V8 than a turbo V6
Best way to buy this car is to go on autotrader and go back 3 years for the model you want. Only buy certified from a Hyundai and only buy certified used. You will save a ton of money, most of these cars are 3 year lease returns. With less than 35,000 miles.
Man I love the looks of this car so much. The only gripe I have is I don't like, nor see the point in the backseat having control over the radio or the ability to move the passenger seat. I wonder if somebody is in the front if then the backseat passenger can't move the seat because it detects the weight? I'd be ok with that then. I just don't see the point of the backseat having radio controls unless it's only for headphones separate play from car stereo. That is highly unlikely because I would think that would require a separate radio system. These controls in the back don't seem necessary ad ons imho. And the ONLY thing making be hesitant in purchasing a G90 is the FACT that if you go on Yelp, 99% of all the reviews about Genesis Dealership Service is horrible. Nothing but complaints that Genesis has not been honoring their warranty agreement regarding Genesis dropping of of anther vehicle & them taking you new car in for service without you having to go to the dealership. This is a major complaint with customers along with Genesis Service departments keeping the car for a long time without even calling customers back & letting them know what is going on. I had a friend who has a beautiful 2020 G80 and he called them over & over and never got one call back in five days. He had to get a Uber to go to the Genesis Dealership to find out what was going on with his car in service. They gave him the excuse they were waiting on parts. All the while still saying they didn't have any loaners to give him and apologizes for not texting or calling him back. They did this every time, the 3 times he's had to take his car in for service he told me. He always asked them to pick up his car but the made excuses saying they coulnd't & they had no loaners. He did get a ride home after going to the dealership to check on his car. The customer service offered him nothing. Not even to pay for the $35 Uber ride to find out what was wrong with his car because they wouldn't contact him all week long after he tired numerous times to het ahold of someone. He was put on hold for 2 hrs once he said & then hung up on 5 times he told me. Yeah after all that I am super reluctant to get a Genesis under any (what seems like false promised) warranty. Or IF I ever do it will be 100% used & not under warranty anymore. With all that hassle I would not want to be obligated to taking my car for service into any Genesis dealership for service I'd rather just use my own mechanic & order parts or even after market parts if need be. Plus, I've also heard that if you sell a Genesis that the warranties cannot be transferred to the second owner. Not 100% this is true but I've heard this from numerous reviews.
Just watched this again. Now that these are a year old, they are selling for $75K. The 2022s at $50K. $25K a year in depreciation... though the prices are getting better, that kind of depreciation is painful.
lthe only thing lexus has going for them is reliability. othewise even their newest models looks old from the outside.. and 30 years old from the inside
Nice car, I'd be happy to have one. But I can price out a Lexus LS that I'd love to have for around $90K. For that you are getting build quality that is better known and a far superior dealership experience. The Genesis cars may be equal to Lexus as far as build but it's too soon to tell. If you're leasing the Lexus will have vastly better residuals.
Those are all things to consider, oldsnwbrdr. But if you spec the G90 the same as a $90k LS, it'll again be cheaper. Right now, Genesis (as Lexus did 40 years ago) is playing the price game when competing with the established luxury brands, and it's up to us as consumers to decide if that's enough for us to purchase. Some may say yes and some may say no. My wife drives an Audi, but I think Genesis is doing some wonderful stuff with their vehicles. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
The G90 will kill the s-Class at price of usd72k max. Their production wont cover customers demands, roads will be full of Genesis Brand, and in 10yrs, good byes toyota, lexus, Audi bmw. Just mercedes and genesis will be market leaders. I own GV80 2022, bought it new, at usd87k, coz its an suv, it should be expensive than g90, so g90 needs to be at72 and see what happens.
Its a Genesis not a Hyundai, just like a Lexus LS500 is not a Toyota in America, but it is in Japan, or a Cadillac Escalade is not a Chevy Tahoe and people spend $100,000.00 on those all the time.
@@halo3boy1 Hardly, do you know why? Because it's built differently with components special for Genesis. So it could be only one thing shared...infotainment...
Its worth it!! Better this than the Lexus LS
Just purchased this car, a 2023! This is my third Genesis. Love the brand.
Enjoy your car and thanks for watching!
Awesome. Currently on my second G80. I hope to get a G90 some day.
This car is gorgeous well worth the money especially with that fantastic warranty.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks!
Thank you very much for your generosity! I truly appreciate it!
Your review of the first gen g90 is what made me subscribe back then, good to see it come back in full fircle!
So happy to hear that, @meavyhetal! I appreciate your support over the years. Thanks for watching!

Chris, great review. I may go with non-E-Super for 87 grand.
Subscribed!
It's a great car, Painted Bird. Thanks for watching and for your support, as well!
Bought it, love it
If they ever go back to full regular headlights, they would have themselves an elite car. I would have no problem paying 6 figures for it 👍🏾.
Genesis should put that mild hybrid engine set up in the GV80!

Hyundai says residual value after 3 years is approx 46% depending on miles. Dodging $55k in depreciation is not a bad idea.
I’m trying my hardest to not visit the new Gen Dealership in Atlanta 😩🔥😮💨
Comment back if you get there and share how it is. We still haven't been there yet, either, Chancellor Smith. Thanks for watching!

Waiting that this car makes to Europe.....awesome

Great review! 👍🏾. Very nice vehicle. I wonder if Genesis will make an electric version.
Think it was already confirmed when this first came out!
Sweet luxury!
I’d get this rather than a German over-priced defect-riddled past its prime slug.
Thanks for the review.
Don't buy it

Genesis is killing the Game 🎯🔥
They're definitely doing big things. Thanks for watching!
Yes! This over the highly priced german luxury cars.

Amazing content
I'll keep my 2008 Lexus LS 600 H L with the executive seating package.
A 2008 car lol 😂. You can keep that
Once I upgraded from an 09 ls460 to a 20 G90 I kind realized I was missing a lot from newer cars.

Nice video man!!

The old dealership experience comment…fashionable to say this, but how much time do you spend at the dealership? An hour a year, maybe?
Needs a V8.
Yes. A V8 RWD. AWD is not needed it's just asking for more problems imo.

Only for posers or people who cannot understand cars...especially nowadays cars...
Only for people like u.
