Thank you so much for your great video. I bought this on ebay, looks exactly like yours. Just arrived in the mail today but with no directions. I plan on putting peel and stick in bathroom, and thought this would be helpful. For a 76 year old woman I need help. Never done anything like this before. But I am determined to keep learning new things.
Wow! Uncanny result for the likeness! I have zero use for this, but my life is incomplete without a great TRZ vid once in a while. Seriously, you're great bro! Thanks and God be with you!😁👍
We probably have a bazillion of these now.....(who knows where they all are) they really do come in handy from time to time. I still use my old pricklys and keep them dry and lubed. Very rare when I need it, but it was worth sticking it in it's own little case. After going through like a dozen of them, you learn not to throw it in your box full of other junk. Lol! I really just stuck around to support @Tool Review Zone and waited for that moment when Clint shows us either a new relationship status.... Or the way he actually uses this tool. Nice tracing skills bro! Glad you didn't trace EVERYTHING.... 😂😂😂 Like button SMEESHED!!
4:01 🤣🤣, that was too funny; as well as, “ ever knew how smooth my contours were”...😂😉 Still got the old pin style for some “finer” detail work; but, I’m usually breaking out this style of contour gauge on the jobsite. The other nice thing about this style (& the version I have), is I’m able to connect a couple together to get a super long contour gauge ya know, for those awkward long projects you need to cut around, or out, lol. It is a nice feature for these to have, something the old metal pin style gauges didn’t have at all; so, being able to go from 4 inches to 16 inches; pretty sweet💥👍🏻 The other benefit of this style over the metal pin styles.....don’t have to be “super duper” careful of ACCIDENTALLY bending those darn pins😉, or having them rust; cuz once that happens, you can 😚 the “accuracy & ease” of using the gauge goodbye🤪 Cheers TRZ✌🏼
It's amazing some of the things that people invent and how simple things could be that could possibly change your life from one direction to another that's why when working I always try to look and see if there's a different way or an easier way to do something just like years ago somebody had the trick of using a basketball when drilling above you to cut out sheetrock holes for high hats to catch the sheetrock dust something simple could just change your life forever or just make it even easier
Hello, do you have any ideas for a contouring putty or silicone to use for pushing in opening then pulling out for perfect measurements? I don't know what it would be called. Thanks
I'll try this one. I have the Zep brand from Depot, and as soon as you get a little thinset or grout in it, its GAME OVER! You have to immediately blast it with a garden hose.
It's a copy of one that has been around since the 1980s. My dad still has the one I bought him back then. Of course they used metal pins then so you could get flush to surfaces.
Great video... like your enthusiasm... I am going to have to get me one of them, my drawings are not worth a darn, now I can tell people I traced it and cut it to fit. 😊🙃🙂
The commercial said this is a revolutionary tool. I mean like, that tool was already made but it was used by kids who put their face or hand in it and it makes an imprint. If you know the toy I’m talking about
So do I get that masterpiece? I thought about about adding that tool to my next tile project but was not sure if it was worth it, but now I think I will...thanks!!!
I believe that you are talking about adding my picture into your floor art and not about the tool. I would like that as adding my face to any project is a win bro!
Why every commercial and most of reviews always testing this tool over the random shapes instead of using it what is actual purpose for on the trim an edge or corner
TRZ I think I'm getting one just for the fact that I can make a spitting image of myself.... Although I don't think it'll come out quite as good as yours did. Come to think of it, I'm having second thoughts now because I might break it trying to replicate myself.
This tool has been around for eons. In fact, it’s been around since before the internet. This is nothing new. Social media and the web today are making this seem like a major breakthrough. 🙄
I bought the 10 inch, paid for the tool. Where is the tool? I don't know.Lost in shipping? I don't know. Received notice the tool was shipped and I can track it with the Arrive app. It says no courier update, waiting for update. Where's the tool? I don't know. I have emailed Smart Saker with the order number and tracking number, and screen shot of the Arrive shipping notice showing waiting courier update. I get an auto response email back to include my order number and tracking number. Where's the tool I purchased 17 days ago? I don't know. This is a total shit show.

Awesome!
Just bought one. Can’t be any worse than the job I’d do without it lol.
I have a 10” General contour gauge and it’s an awesome tool to have when working on floor tiles and manufactured wood floor planks.
Heck yeah Jason. Could you imagine going back to measuring with a tape again. Thanks for the comment bro👊
I’ve done the old school way too.

Right on. I'll use your link to get it. 👍

What part of western PA are you from? My mother-in-law (who I love) is from Uniontown and has your same accent!
Just north of Pittsburgh. Called New Castle

At least you don't get pins in your eyes with this one.

Cardboard and a bunch of wooden skewers do the exact same thing. Save your money.
