When you removed the first brick @8:26ish it looks like a coin fell down right after. Then you continued digging and it got buried again behind a white rock. ;)
Damn I'm currently watching it and seen the same thing. I was hoping he had found it.
Was gonna post the same thing, may have been an eyelet from the boot.
I did a screen capture of that frame and then enlarged the image, and it was a button with two holes.

Nerds come in many shapes, ages and accents.
The mica disks were probably from something early electrical...toaster, heater, something like that. Used to isolate some of the electrical components from each other. The two rectangular chain links were farm machine related.....see chunks of them often here on the prairies.
Discs were thermal breaks in electrical equipment.

Seems like those are Hood’s Dyspeplets from the late 1800s. Cool story behind all of that. I wonder if the bottle with the writing on it was something similar

When are we going on a paraglider adventure, don't remember seeing that on the playlist. I have not watched every old video, but quite a few, and paragliding would be cool, better than drone footage in some ways because of all the variables to paragliding. I have an AT Pro, AT Max, and picked up an Equinox 600 last year. Really liking the Equinox and when comparing to the Apex, I liked that the Equinox is waterproof so I can hose it off, take it swimming, etc. Seems like you cannot go wrong with either unit. Good luck!

@8:20 is you pulled out a piece of “slicker” and removed a brick and a button or coin became exposed for a second and got reburied..... you’d probably have better luck if you didn’t have to run the camera for the other 2 lol
