    I love how Appo seems to be like Dogma (loyal to Krell) but a little more quiet, but he's still among the clones who refused to shoot Fives and Jesse. Wish we saw more of him

    I never noticed this before but he is the only clone that Krell refers to by name instead of number or rank like he does with Rex and the rest of the clones.

    Fun fact: Sergeant Appo served under Darth Vader in place of Captain Rex after he betrayed the Empire, Sergeant Appo was also with Vader after he survived and killed several Jedi in an assassination attempt on Vader's life. Appo is an absolute chad.

    Honestly, Appo should have been alongside Rex on Teth, take Jesse's role in the Salecami arc, and be outright Anakin's voice of reason whereas Rex is Ahsoka's. All those stupid Jar Jar and Threepio arcs should have been for developing Clones like Appo, Bacara, Bly, and Neyo.

      One of my biggest problems with TCW is this. I hate that they shafted the ROTS commanders for stuff like Jar Jar and Threepio arcs, or even new clone commanders. I still don't get why Jet was with Ki-Adi-Mundi on Geonosis when it could've easily been Bacara

      It's because the 501st Legion was downsized into a battalion under the 7th Sky Corps alongside the 212th battalion in the new canon. During the last months of the war, both the 501st and 212th greatly expanded in manpower, promoting inexperienced officers to expand both battalions to legions to prepare for Operation Knightfall and the Outer Rim Sieges.
      That's why NCOs like Sergeant Appo, Waxer and Vaughn became lieutenants and commanders really quickly as the war progressed. But yeah, we really needed to see more of Appo.
      Edit: Grammar

    • @kingcobra9726

      @@commanderbacara225 just curious where you got this from since I know some people have theorized that the 501st might have been apart of the 7th Sky Corps but to my knowledge there was never any concrete evidence in canon or legends.
      And I know canon might have changed some things but I’m not sure how the 501st Legion could be downsized to a battalion since it is a Legion (and each legion is made of 4 regiments, and each regiment is made of 4 battalions).

    • @commanderbacara225
      @commanderbacara225 2 роки тому +14

      @@kingcobra9726 What I meant is that the new canon states the 501st started off as a Clone Battalion that eventually formed the nucleus to expand into the 501st Legion.
      In Season 1-3 of the Clone wars, the 501st were always referred to as a clone battalion and pretty much only engaged in smaller-scale battles while supported by two smaller AT-TE battalions or exclusively alongside the 212th.
      You begin to see the 501st operating more independently as the war progressed but still deployed adjacent to the combat area of the 212th in the later seasons (Like Umbara).
      In Season 5 onwards, they were no longer referred to as a battalion anymore, and operated more as an independent formation away from the 212th, indicating that the formation was upgraded and reconstituted into a full brigade or legion by the end of the war.
      This is the norm for many armies IRL as well. New divisions would usually be built from a battalion/regiment level until they get enough manpower to become separate divisions. Sister battalions like the 501st and 212th that serve together for a prolonged period of time are almost always assigned to the same Corps.
      This could also explain why Rex personally knew Gregor, since he was from Foxtrot Group within the 212th, a sister battalion to the 501st.

      @@rileylawl He only had his arrow in TCW, he didn't have it by time of ROTS and there's no way he would rub it out for some reason before the events when he confronted Bail Organa happened, he was then heavily injured by youngling so he couldn't be present when 3 jedi that were guarding Grogu died, since at that time he must've been taken to some medical station , and besides : other clones could have the arrow on their helmet just like Appo, so it can't possibly be him, Wookiepedia also doesn't say it was him during the flashback. You really should (along with other people that thinks that's Appo) pay more attention, people alsso think the middle jedi that was guarding Grogu was Cin Drallig, well that's also incorrect, because it has been confirmed that he was killed by Darth Vader when he appeared on hologram in ROTS, and there's no way he could be that guy when he was shot in torso in the flashback, because even if he would survive the shot, he surely wouldn't be fit enough to stand and swing his lightsaber properly, like how we've seen him do in already mentioned hologram in ROTS, you people just want to have lot of fanfiction and connections everywhere in Star Wars. why can't you just admit the fact that not every character in Star Wars has to be named, those were just some unidentified Clones who killed some unidentified Jedi who guarded Grogu.
