After a few car adventures in Sweden, I decided to stay in Sweden ! I am now for 3 years in Sweden and I will never go back to the Netherlands ! Love the nature and the very nice people , I rent a very nice Swedish house and I am still in love with Sweden .....
I really admire you two for having the balls ;-) to really go for your dream life and putting yourselves into the public domain on youtube. That and your no-nonsense personalities. Love it.

when i was younger me, my dad and his sister and her women went often to tännforsen since they lived just a few minutes away from it and still does, they live in a part called stalltjärnsstugan which is a pretty place as well. fun to see this through a youtube video since it isn't often people film this fantastic place. Much love from north sweden, you just earned a new subscriber
I don't know where you are, but possibly in a recent flooded area that acts as a reservoir for hydroelectric power plants, and the stubs are in that case 100+ years old.
It was nice of you to be so considerate and loving of you to Emily when she needs to work and giving her time to time out before she can enjoy this trip with you. Both of you are so great especially in coming to supporting each other. ❤Bless you girls! Love watching your videos as always.
Always feel good after watching one of your videos, pretty locations beautifully filmed. Then the finishing touches are the fun and affection you have for each other and your animals - perfect.
I sooo admire your lifestyle ..as a teenager in the late 70's I spent a lot of titie in Scandinavia being in the entertainment industry...never been back...but have my camper and am gonna go back next year..thank you both..you.have inspired me to do this xx
Very well filmed and just the right length of the clips and very good variety of the clips and the clips follow the story. The best filmed blog I've seen.
I am mostly housebound and I love travelling with you, you make the world come alive for me. Also just wanted to ask how can I get hold of one of your mugs? ❤️🤩
Awesome video!! Randomly came across this channel and I loved watching both of you. So happy to see other Brits enjoying Sweden. I am going to binge the rest of your journey right now and I know it will keep me smiling and laughing all evening. Cheers! :)
Superb video construction, almost that you storyboard it in your head. Great. Then your talk to camera is so natural whether just Louise or the both of you. It’s a joy to travel vicariously with you both.
Wonderful video. Nothing like the feeling of dread when you are woken up by your dog vomiting in the van in the middle of the night! And I do think Emily working and an important part of your joint income makes you much more normal than some of the vanlifers out there.
Epic scenery! You guys are on top of your game with all the drone footage and those pictures are great! I love seeing your travels. Just got back from an 18 day trip to National Parks and I loved it. I am ready for more. Gotta find a job like Emily that I can work remote!
I have recently found your channel and can't seem to turn it off. You ladies are awesome! I love your loving banter towards one another. You keep me smiling and laughing. Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Going through all of your videos now. Louise, your photography is amazing!
You two are so funny and I love watching your adventures, you make me smile. Hope AJ is feeling better, always a worry aren’t they? Look forward to next video xx
The most real, down to earth women ❤️ You have helped my partner and I take the plunge to buy a camper this year, we did it.. we’ve started to travel (starting small in the UK). I absolutely was not the camping type.. I am now. It’s my favourite thing to pack up, forget troubles, help my mental health and make memories. Thank you to you both (and Summer and AJ) for inspiring us to have a different view on life and get out into the REAL world. You have helped my head, thoughts and feelings. Massive love and thank you x
To avoid mosquitoes biting you is to eat food with a lot of garlic in it or do as I do, squeeze 6 cloves of garlic into a drinking glass and then pour in water and stir with a spoon and then sweep it all in. This should not be done on an empty stomach. In addition to the fact that mosquitoes do not bite, it prevents one from catching a cold or suffering from a stomach ailment. Then you have missed visiting the Kiruna mountains, as you drive after Norway the road from Kiruna up towards Narvik. This is a beautiful road to ride and is very popular with tourists. More and more people from the UK have discovered Kiruna and our mountain environment, here the sun never sets from mid-May to mid-July. We have something called midnight sun.
Well kids (I can say that cos I'm an old codger) that's another great video. Well done you two, love these vids. I was as impressed as you Lou by the cleanliness of the water in Sweden over 45 years ago when I visited, really pleased it's the same now. 🙂
Can't tell you how helpful this video has been. Been sat here with our oen and paper making notes for planning our 7 weeks in Scandinavia with the kids this summer. Keep up the great work guys! ♥
Just love watching you girls you make me smile every time I watch your vids. Scenery is amazing and hopefully will be going myself in a couple of years. Enjoy Sweden 👍
Ahhh soo glad you’ve got to Sweden (btw the mosquitos are everywhere! Apart from the cities we found) Also have you found the HUGE red wood ants yet? They would dwarf Emily! Ohh man this Vlog almost made me cry, I love Sweden so much, so good to see other people enjoying it too! Also must say Stockholm is worth a visit, even though it’s a bit touristy the old town and tbh most the city is beautiful and the boat tours are awesome! You get fika on some of them! Who doesn’t love cake and coffee?
Love the video. You are both amazing. The photography is stunning. It feels like we are right there with you. Sweden is just beautiful. Except for the bugs. Hahahaha. Thank you for taking us along. Hugs and love. X
Loving this trip with you two. Lou you are talented with the camera, drone, editing, and music. I love the vlogs so much. They get better and better❤️. The flow of each one is perfect. Lovely to see a couple enjoy each other so much!❤️. Emily is so fun and positive ❤️. Can’t wait for your next adventure.
I gotten nostalgic.. I went 5 times to sweden, for two months each time, to pick up berries) And I had slept at similar looking spots on numerous occasions, but in a smaller cars=) Yes, its all about tranquility. And mosquitoes =) Sometimes they have burning sticks laying around at such cabins to keep the mosquitoes away) By the way, around this time of year starts the season for "hjutron" berries, little yellow ones. If I'm not mistaken, there's ten times more vitamin C in these berries compared to oranges. You can find them on "used-to-be swamps", or dry swamps, which are relatively safe to walk on) And there's a blueberries season in about a week or two. And then lingon(redberries), up until the end of September. And A LOT of moose. They often cross the road while you drive, usually its the mother-moose and a calf. And there's bears, never seen one, but once it was close to our car roaring, we only heard the roar(we were later told that it might have been the lost baby-bear calling for its mother). And I've spoken to many swedes who have themselves seen bears. I miss Sweden.. There's smth mysterious about its wild nature. Good people too.
Oh yeah I was looking into it the other day and was so surprised at the amount of bears there are here actually and now I freak myself out each time I take AJ out 🙈
@@campervibe (advice from sweds). If you meet a bear, Always face towards him, while slowly walking backwards. Good if you have a cap on your head so you can take it off and leave it for the bear to sniff while you retreat. Also talk to a bear while walking away, and while he sniffs your cap(if you don't have a cap, - take off any other piece of your clothing). And of course - don't try to run, bears are impressively good at running. Also, bears try to keep away from the noisy places with humans, so if you are out and about with your dog - its good if you make any kind of noise like whistling, talking and so on. As I said, I spent altogether almost a year out in swedish forests and wilderness picking berries, and only once I almost came close to meeting a bear. So the chances are less than 10% of meeting one. But there's one thing. The fact that I didn't see a bear doesnt mean they don't see you. I can say, and my friend also acknowledged this once, - that sometimes you get a weird feeling- like you are being watched over(when out and about). Its very strange feeling. I experienced it couple of times.
A small tip for you Ladies, mosqitoes and knits.. are the worst... but, in order to get the itching down quickly- take a soap-bar (needs to be hard, not the liquid one) lather it up with a small amount of water, rub it in on the bite and let it stay on and the itchy outchy will go away :)
If you can get hold of some, citronella candles help as a insect repellent. Also you can actually get head/face nets (used a lot in my homeland Scotland) on line. It looks absoloutly stunning and perfect where you are on this video.
I mentioned finger before on another video, for mozzy bites. I forgot to say it has to be apple cider vinegar. I use Maille vintage de cider. We live in Aude in the south of France, the mozzies made my life miserable until we found this stuff on Amazon- EARTH SENSE BIO CHASSE INSECTS cosmos organic, it actually works! You can get spray or block roll-on. We use both, the spray is easier but in my opinion not quite as affective as the block roll-on thingy. It is slightly sticky at first and horrible if you get it near your mouth or eyes. However it is 100% natural so it won’t hurt you. Once it’s on it’s not too bad and you get used to it. Very, very much worth the effort of putting it on because the natural lemony smell keeps them away from you. The vinegar will take the itch out but some bites you may need to persist keeping the cotton wool, or make-up remover pad thing, on the bite for 5/10 minutes until it feels safe to stop, you’ll work it out once you get used to it (the pads are the best way to apply the vinegar). This will stop the itch coming back, 90% of the time you get bitten, use the vinegar and then it’s totally gone! do it as soon as you can but even if some time has past it still helps. If it does start itching again just use the finger again. You’re welcome 🥰 PS try putting your suntan lotion on first, then the Earth Sense.
Excellent editing as always. Found your channel recently, as a drone user I enjoy all your wonderful drone footage and adventures that go along with it. Thank You
Well done Emily for swimming 👏👏👏 I just absolutely love you both you crack me up love your banter. You are so devoted to each other thank you for sharing your wonderful journey 😊

Lovely video thanks again for sharing. Just lovely to see you both sharing your love for each other, and that’s the way it should be,you always look so happy. Hope AJ is feeling better now, and that summer will get her walk. Thanks again 😀🤗
It looks amazing when are filming on your own you find some nice places and you always give us plenty of Info about them.As usual fantastic photography. 👍😎
Ayy up you 2 and pets, wow the water fall photos are amazing.on Amazon prime there are mosquito suits with hoods £31.89. The lake looks amazing I bet you had a good time on thunder clunge. Has Emily eaten all the snack cupboard yet lol??? Emily the little dances are really good and funny.fingers crossed for AJ.LOU THE SOSAGE TOO BIG FOR THE SLOT.I choked on my drink.the swimming was so funny. And you cannot beat a clean Fanny!
Welcome to Sweden! The northern parts are very scenic and I recommend both my hometown Östersund with the mountains to the west as well as our "rival" town Sundsvall with "Höga kusten" along the coast going north :)
I lived half of my early life in Labrador. In the summer the mosquitoes and tiny black flies will eat you alive. We used Skin So Soft also. It worked very well. Other than the flies, it is beautiful there.❤
Have so enjoyed your Scandi trip and we are finding it very informative as we are planning several months in our motorhome in Norway and Sweden next year. Finishing off with time in Denmark to visit my husband’s family. Love the vibe and quality of your filming.
Summer the unsociable cat 🐈 same as ours, doesn't like children for the same reasons as summer. Thankyou for sharing the entirety of that swimming shoot with us......brilliant stuff.
Really enjoyable video again, thank you. I was in the Post Office the other day. In the queue behind a girl asking for a driving licence so she could drive in Norway. Being a helpful sort of chap, I told her about your current videos. She was very interested and wrote down the channel title and was going to watch them. Every little helps!!
First of all, wonderful bit of outdoor cooking Louise. Spot on. That was a amazing video, beautiful location, apart from a few problems. As for Emily testing the water, laughing my head off, absolutely hilarious. I thought you were just going as far as dipping (van name) in the lake 😂 Absolutely fantastic video girls, hope Emily finds her perfect parkup. Safe travels both X
@@campervibe still an Emily and Louise epic moment. Tell you are both loving it. Keep loving the life cuz your both awesome. Love to you Both Summer and AJ. The girls not bad too 😂 Take care Both, keep living the beautiful memories ❤
Great video girls, as always. I am a bit behind as been on Bike Rally for 5 days. some stunning scenery and was almost wetting myself waiting for Em to dunk fully in that water. you always make me smile even after a crappy day. stay safe girls.
Thanks guys for todays vlog- I quite literally smiled wide for the entire episode. Special mention Emily for getting in the freezing lake! I feel your pain chic!!! The love you guys share between yourselves and your fur babies is heartwarming. Thanks again for the smiles xx
The law called "Allemansrätten" is what I am most proud of in Sweden. It means the right of all people to stay in forests and on lakes without the landowner having any right to drive us away. It is a freedom with certain responsibilities - but it is rare that people break the rules.
We love your channel and we are loving Norway!! So beautiful. We love that you’re animal lovers too. Glad AJ is feeling better. We do need to invest in a kayak! Next year fingers crossed 🤞. Cheers
Mosquito hate Lavendel. Plant whit soil shoudn\t be transported over the boarder. But many places sell Lavendel plant and if you have 3 ore 6 plant around your samp will keep the musquito away. There are also small instrument that scare them. There are a lot of tix in the Scandinavian forest this year.
That was my favourite episode so far. Obviously there's a huge back catalogue for me to work through though. Louise in the Kayak and Emily braving the cold water made for some jolly good viewing. Keep up the great work ladies.
Great content again and I love listening to your waffle!! Trouble in Norway is many Norwegians have all of July off, as its the time for the best weather ! Looking forward to more Sweden now ! Cracking
When I was cruising we used Skin so soft mixed with rubbing alcohol in the tropics which was amazing at keeping bugs away and not getting bitten. Great video
I keep saying how Brilliant you two are but it's bloody true your both Great.wonderfull views and journeys in this series almost as good as being there thank you both so much for including us on this wonderful trip
As world travellers, some of the places we visited were like Sweden for mosquitoes. We always used Jungle Strength 100% Deet. Not always easy to find but we found it the most effective against all sorts of bitey insects. Wipes, spray and wrist and ankle bands are available. Don't know about animals.Fun interlude - our armed lady escort in Kenya was seriously frightened by O's deet wrist band. She thought O was a witch doctor because of the pattern in colour and shapes!! Great fun episode, as usual.
After a few car adventures in Sweden, I decided to stay in Sweden ! I am now for 3 years in Sweden and I will never go back to the Netherlands ! Love the nature and the very nice people , I rent a very nice Swedish house and I am still in love with Sweden .....

It looks amazing when are filming on your own you find some nice places and you always give us plenty of Info about them.As usual fantastic photography. 👍😎
For next time in sweden there is a place called Ammarnäs. Its magical. Just be careful. ...bear and Wolf country
Ayy up you 2 and pets, wow the water fall photos are amazing.on Amazon prime there are mosquito suits with hoods £31.89.

Hysterical! You two have the best banter , you always make me giggle! Love you guys . The scenery is absolutely stunning. Love you two x
Good catch of the fly Emily nice to see you on the water lou thank you for taking us with you x
Welcome to Sweden! The northern parts are very scenic and I recommend both my hometown Östersund with the mountains to the west as well as our "rival" town Sundsvall with "Höga kusten" along the coast going north :)
Thanks 😀
@@campervibe I meant to say northern parts haha, you already got the Nordics handled ;)
I lived half of my early life in Labrador. In the summer the mosquitoes and tiny black flies will eat you alive. We used Skin So Soft also. It worked very well. Other than the flies, it is beautiful there.❤
Lovely video and very good commercial for my country, thanks! Best Regards Peter Eriksson, Orsa, Dalarna, Sweden
Have so enjoyed your Scandi trip and we are finding it very informative as we are planning several months in our motorhome in Norway and Sweden next year. Finishing off with time in Denmark to visit my husband’s family. Love the vibe and quality of your filming.
That sounds lovely
What an itchy, scratchy journey you guys had! I do hope your quest for the perfect site comes to pass. Hoping AJ is feeling better now too. :)
Aw thank you he is doing loads better
Love your videos ladies! My wife and I were in hysterics watching this vid and are totally inspired by your Nordic adventures!
😀😀
Summer the unsociable cat 🐈 same as ours, doesn't like children for the same reasons as summer. Thankyou for sharing the entirety of that swimming shoot with us......brilliant stuff.
When Emily says she was in the Navy, does she mean the Village People navy🤣.
Loved Louise losing it with the mosquitos in the kayak.
😆😆🙈
Really enjoyable video again, thank you. I was in the Post Office the other day. In the queue behind a girl asking for a driving licence so she could drive in Norway. Being a helpful sort of chap, I told her about your current videos. She was very interested and wrote down the channel title and was going to watch them. Every little helps!!
🥳🥳 thanks Mick 😀😀
Absolutely loved this, so peaceful, fabulous camera skills and scenery, so in love, ❤ thank you
What you have both got is so very special and hilarious as well!
I know I didn’t do that well did I 😆😆
@@campervibe still an Emily and Louise epic moment.
By far the most watchable and entertaining vlog and useful information and ideas. Another aeropress coffee user!
Fantastic pics, especially near the waterfall. You wouldn’t get me in that freezing water🥶fun to watch.😂
Summer is quite right! 🐈⬛
Thanks guys for todays vlog- I quite literally smiled wide for the entire episode. Special mention Emily for getting in the freezing lake! I feel your pain chic!!! The love you guys share between yourselves and your fur babies is heartwarming. Thanks again for the smiles xx
Was so cold 🥶 😆
Love you two. Wishing you great travels.
The law called "Allemansrätten" is what I am most proud of in Sweden. It means the right of all people to stay in forests and on lakes without the landowner having any right to drive us away. It is a freedom with certain responsibilities - but it is rare that people break the rules.
Great vid girls, Lou your inuendos spot on with this one.Hope the next park-up is a good one.
We love your channel and we are loving Norway!! So beautiful. We love that you’re animal lovers too. Glad AJ is feeling better. We do need to invest in a kayak! Next year fingers crossed 🤞. Cheers
Brilliant ! Made me laugh watching Emily getting into the lake. Hope AJ is ok. Have fun guys x
He is doing better thanks
Another brilliant video, many thanks!
The best feel good channel ever! thanks guy’s🙏 safe travels🚐
If there were "oscars" for UA-cam, this would be the one I'd nominate for best video. Stunningly fun, beautiful, smile-causing, romp!
Aw thank you
Mosquito hate Lavendel.
😀
What a beautiful place , look forward to the next video .
Another epic video. Loving the scenery, park up next to the lake and loving you two so much 🥰
Great content again and I love listening to your waffle!!
😀😀
As world travellers, some of the places we visited were like Sweden for mosquitoes. We always used Jungle Strength 100% Deet. Not always easy to find but we found it the most effective against all sorts of bitey insects. Wipes, spray and wrist and ankle bands are available. Don't know about animals.Fun interlude - our armed lady escort in Kenya was seriously frightened by O's deet wrist band. She thought O was a witch doctor because of the pattern in colour and shapes!! Great fun episode, as usual.
Oh really that’s interesting
