- Not much to say: Nickel plated globe frame, pump knob, pump knob collar and ball nut, brand new chrome plated bail handle, new pump leather and newly painted fount with Fred Kuntz decal and cap gasket.
Tested with home distilled gasoline.
@mohdaznee If your lantern is intended to use gasoline yes, the only inconvenient is that no matter what type of gas it is, it contains additives because it is made to be burned on a car not on a lantern, so my advice would be clean it more often than when burning coleman fuel, say, if you use it every day once a month should be ok.
It looks very nice.
@0Weaver0 Yep, actually is just regular Gasoline from the gas station Distilled at my home to take out all the aditives which are not needed for lighting purposes.
@MrJoseph1157 There's no need for special equipment if that's your question but if you happen to live in the U.S you dont need to go so far just buy Coleman fuel.
@SansAuthoritas Well yes, but is not that youre gonna ruin it, just take out the clogged/dirty generator and put it in a container with carb cleaner for 5 hours and thats it.
I'm a young one .... Can you tell me if regular gasoline will work ?
@SansAuthoritas Ohh yes the cardboard tube! hahahahah I forgot it, thanks.
@miltonSF What is envolved to distill pump gas? thanks Joe
i have coleman alot but can i use gasoline(ron 95 petrol unleaded) or i have to modify first
Safety third, eh?
