Would it be possible for you to do a tutorial on shaping short natural nails? I'm a massage therapist and so I can't have long nails at all. I have to trim all the white part down pretty much and cut them every week and a half. I know nurses and other professions also have to keep short nails. I have tried to make them have some sort of a square/round shape before for when I do paint them, but I don't know what I'm doing.
Anna Holeman you can file the sides (up and down) to give it more of a square shape.

Stilettos are also dangerous when you are in a moshpit. I accidentally stabbed a guy in the upper arm with My thumbnail and he bled. 😎🤘😄 Now THAT'S Metal!

My favorite nail shape is coffin but I always want to try out stiletto but I'm scare I might poke my kids by accident. But coffin is the best and it is beautiful.
Melissa Vang My mother had long nails that weren't even pointed and she would hurt me accidentally as a child all the time. You're being smart to avoid the stiletto shape until your kids are much older lol. 😊

I really like the oval shape, but my nails naturally grow in a square shape, so I tend to file them as a coffin 😊 as a tip for others who want to grow out their nails naturally, I suggest using a nail hardener for a couple of weeks after that you won‘t need press on nails/ gel nails anymore 😊 speaking out of experience 😋

MayMay Hastings yes that‘s my suggestion:) For two days straight I applied the hardener without removing it and on the third day I removed it completely and put a new coat of it. And then on repeat. I did this for about three to four weeks and since then I‘ve always been using the hardener as a base coat:) another tip on growing out your nails is using nail oil as often as possible, it works wonders 😊
cider i‘m using the nail repair microcell 2000, but I‘m not sure if it’s available in the US 😬 i would not recommend the Sally Hensen one tho. It did nothing for my brittle nails (now my nails are long healthy and my nail polish stays on without chipping for longer than a week- with the hardener as a base coat and two coats of nail polish and without a topcoat) hope this helps a bit 😊

I love to do coffin nails. Pretty sure I use the same set from Amazon! They’re very light and natural. I am so bad at keeping them symmetrical thought, but practice makes perfect! Thanks for the great tutorials!

How do you remove acrylics/press on nails when you are done with them? Lol and I have been wanting someone to make this video for forerver ty xxx

For my press ons, I use pure acetone, like from he beauty supply. This is much stronger than regular polish remover, which is far too weak a solution to remove the press ons.
Imagine having, like, 20 coats of polish on ... that’s how removing press ons is. They will absolutely melt away, but you need a little patience, and one cotton ball soaked in the acetone per nail. Let the acetone do the work - you don’t need to rub and twist it off too much. Just be patient, and it will all go away, leaving you with clean nails (glue and all), ready for the next round.
If need be, I buff away any stubborn bits with a file, but it usually comes off pretty easily with just the acetone.
I’ve never tried taking off acrylics, so I’m not sure if this method would work for those.

Jenny Platypus I use kiss max speed, nothing fancy, but it does make a difference if you do a quick wipe of your bare nails with acetone beforehand. Then, most importantly, apply glue onto both your natural nail AND your fake nail :) just a tip, the more glue you apply, the longer they will hold, you just have to find middle ground between too much glue and not enough glue. Let me know if you have learned any new tips since your comment, would love to hear them :)
