Raise the food! How to size and build raised dog bowl stands

Did you know that the ideal height for dog bowls is six inches less than your dog's shoulder height? Most stores and online retailers sell a 4"- 12" heigh stand, which is great for small-medium dog breeds, but it is harder to find something taller without costing a lot of money.
You can build your own dog bowl stand to fit your dog's height for way less, probably under $25 if you already have the tools. In this video, I show you how to make a dog bowl stand from start (how to measure your dog, determine the height of the stand, etc.) to finish (glue, nails, sand, finish).
