At 5:33 is where I crashed and crushed my collar bone into four pieces last Friday. Alex came up behind me while I was on the phone with 911. He put a inter tube on me as a shoulder brace and got my bike down the mountain. Thank you again, Alex. You the man. Arguably the best rider in town. Excellent footage, Nate
@@alexptdmg I just got out of surgery. My collar bone was shattered. They did titanium plate, rope and pins. The day after my crash my mom was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with acute leukemia. She started her first dose of chemotherapy and responding well. But what a rough time! I will see you back on the trails in about 2-3 months. Thanks again for helping me, Alex. I owe you a bike inner tube lol.
Ouch!!! I feel you. I also had a four piece clavicle explosion fifteen years ago. Lost 6 months this year with rotator cuff surgery and grade 5 AC separation. Shoulders are a bitch.
@@bradnyenhuis3896 Happy healing, brother. Went through 3 hip surgeries last year, this was my recovery and took out my collar bone. Gonna be 6-10 more weeks till I can even road bike. Can’t wait to return back to riding though. We never learn lol
Sweeet! Finally a trail maybe I can ride without dying, lol! You boys were cruising for sure, Alex had a nice save there. Broke my saddle the other day so I replaced it with the Ergon SM, haven't had a chance to try it out yet due to winter's affront, but hopefully soon.
Between this and your Tucson content, I HAVE to get out there. One comment; I love when you insert some drone footage. It really adds perspective to the trail.
Dope video. Two questions: have you tried staying to the right after the three consecutive jumps on iron goat? It’s more fun in my opinion. Second question: how the heck did you get a full run down mine with zero hikers?!

Pushing traction @2:20. Alex's corners are awe-inspiring.
French technique on display.
Love it, Iron Goat is a blast lots of fun alt lines too. Mine is a classic!
Great speed, monstrous leaps, with sound of wheels rumbling like hooves of horses galloping down a rocky hill.
Optional lines everywhere! What a cool trail…love Hawes!
Plethora of alt lines.
Fantastic !!!! I would join you for that ride right away 🚲
3:29 splitting the tree. Very cool trail feature!!!
Not too many videos that keep get better every minute. Feel like I was riding along. Excellent footage.
Everything looks SOOOOOOO different out there when you're watching it at warp speed. Fantastic riding gentlemen!
Glad you enjoyed it!
My favorite trails at Hawes. Great riding Nate and Alex. i gotta learn the enduro turns in those switchbacks.
3 pack of radness.

I broke the pivot bolt on my Pivot in a tight left hander riding Iron Goat a few winters ago. Some great turns and jumps. So fun.
Pure Ovaries is such a blast! I don't remember that tree jump through!
This is new from early January. Nice little update
Awe inspiring the skill level. So casual looking off the tree jump! 😳😀😎
Tree jump goes good.
Just rode Pure O today after watching this. Love the new features. Thanks for the inspiration.
So good right now.
Miss those trails. Stellar run.
So good right now!

Broken saddle? Sounds like you have a story to tell, ha
@@natehills9388 Haha, no nothing too exciting, mostly just my old lazy butt not getting up off the seat, lol. Both the bike and me getting wore out.
Awesome riding! Good to see what a ride down Pure O should look like after my slog down it last weekend.
Amazing bit of trail!
Nate, I love your videos! Keep up the good work.
🤘I just rode Mine Trail yesterday evening. Gnarlier than its even been right now. Classic Favorite out at Hawes. Thanks Nate! Enjoy the Videos!!
Mine is running sweet right now. Amazing in the afternoon light.
Dope trail system..will revisit during the Sedona MTB festival 🤘
You should!
@@natehills9388 we rode some of it last year. Looks like they added more since then 😉

Awesome! Love going to hawes!
Hawes is so good!
Looks amazing. Thinking of moving to the area this year. Can’t wait to see how much steeper these downhills are in person.
Good luck!
Trust me they look a lot steeper, these guys make this trail look way easier and faster that the average rider.
Great ridding!
So good...
just rode ovaries yesterday, but about 1/100 the speed, you guys are certifiable 🤣next level to say the least.
Amazing track!
Awesome trails!
Glad you like them!
@@natehills9388 been riding then for years!
No gloves and no elbow pads. A more confident person I have never seen. (I love your videos; follow cam Friday is my jam!)
People wear elbow pads?
Dude. I miss my Hawes!!!
3'29" wonderfull sent! Very nice video
The new tree jump works amazingly well! Props to the builders.
Awesome vid as usual. hey I was noticing your fork seems a little bouncy..

I haven't ridden to the right there, I'll have to check it out. And yes, MIne devoid of humans is a rarity, haha
I'll be there in 2 weeks!!
Enjoy your time.
Looks like the Hawes trail system has expanded quite a bit since we were over from Scotland in 2019 - time to plan a return?
More trail is being built as we speak.
Word🤙🏻
Sweet trails out there. Are you still in Arizona? I have 3 dogs you can meet if you sign my hardtail lol
I'll have to take a rain check.
Tooooooop!!!!
I cannot believe how non-chalant they made that 6ft drop/tree gap look @ 3:27.
Its a proper huck.
🤘🤘🤘
How is the ascent there?
Mellow as it gets.
👍👍
I miss the drone
Me too. Couldn't keep that thing in the air.
Pure ovaries? Interesting name for a trail.
Great name for a trail.
I am Indian Big fan
Such a sick zone! Better than anything in the northern costal California area where I live. Liberal environmentalists make sure of that…
