    I think you should light fry the prawns first before dumping it into the sambal to avoid overcooking the prawns. Then just stir fried everything in the wok within 2 minutes. And lastly add some onions before serving. If you want to make it more tasteful, then add some fried dry shrimps too

    Hi Ah Pa, thanks for sharing the sharing the recipe. I just tried it and it’s awesome. My only question is how to make the petai more tasteful. The place where I am now have frozen petai. I feel the petai is blend. Do you have any tips how to make the petai more tasty? Thanks

    I can't get stink beans here in Tasmania. What can I substitute instead? Or should I just not bother as there is no substitute?

      U can either omit it or replace with long beans

    Ah Pa owned Chinese-style Sambal Udang berPetai, of coz its unMalay sambal petai taste. 😄
