I talk about why I had bad results during certain grades and how the study tips/system I was forced to follow didn't work for me. I talk about how schools and educational institutions force systems wrongly, and what should students do instead.
What did NOT improve my results: focusing on my haircut, focusing on improving handwriting, forcing myself to study in the morning, rereading/revising things repeatedly, continuously studying for hours, sacrificing sports/hobbies for studying, doing math repeatedly to memorize, underlining & highlighting, reading things out loud, reading something for fixed amount of time, getting punished for doing bad results, taking notes while studying something etc.
What improved my results: Studying when I want (evening & night), getting 8 hours of sleep, using active recall & spaced repetition to study (check my study tips playlist for details), using the pomodoro technique, focusing on time management, not sacrificing sports/hobbies/extra-curriculars for studying, using targeted practice to learn math, rewarding learning, understanding over memorization etc.

vai im currently graduating from notre dame, you can consider me as a 3rd year inter student because of the pandemic. My academic results are not impressive for a good college. Its because i never had that kind of determination to do well in schools as i thought these were useless. Now that i want to go to the us, my academics are going to matter a lot. What should i do now?? My seniors told me, your counselor can handle this matter, but would that be effective?? I watched almost all of your videos, interviews and everyone on those were very good at their middle and highschools. Its actually becoming pretty stressful .

I can relate to this video. My parents always nag me to wake up early for studying which doesn't work for me at all. However, I believe I remain pretty productive at night, maybe I'm a night owl. Ultimately, I have got something to show my parents to refute their argument that I could be better at study, providing that I wake up early and then study which is definitely not helpful for me. Can't thank you enough bhaiya.

Hi Seeam Bhaiya, just wanted to ask you a question. Have you ever experienced racism in the USA? I've heard a lot about the racism present there which sometimes discourages me to go to the foreign countries for higher studies.
I haven't because Harvard campus, and the city of Cambridge, is very diversity friendly in my experience
