Great guide, it's so extensive. I've just started playing Lynn and couldn't really wrap my head around all the different buffs/modes/skills and combinations of those, while just finding out about them a bit. For example, I hadn't even upgraded the stack-skills, because I just didn't know XD Thank you, I'll be linking it to friends
A useful thing to notice is, when you get the timing right on the Enhanced Zhen Smashes the damage numbers will be yellow instead of red, same with the enhanced marks on bosses.
Oh my god. My lynns level 75 and I've just been slowly applying the blue marks and then using that sp skill where you poke 3 times to make them gold. Didn't even know you could apply em naturally. Fml Appreciate you, dog

defense ya crit hit definitely should be maxed... crit hti makes ur dmg go up exponentially... combat idk depends who, some chars dont even use normal attacks

Eddie Lee Best time to upgrade your armor is 60 70 and 80. From 1-60 1-30 gear can get by generally with no armor trainee sword until blood prince weapon level 30, then the level 39 bloodprince evolve weapon, then ivory weapon at 50 if you wish or wait until 60 if you're courageous or crazy, and such. Accessories are important upgrades more than actual gear. Nighthawk at level 70 for cost efficient stuff.
+KyrandisX Funny thing is, I was going to ask you the same question differently. In your opinion, which of the two is more technical to play, could you list the pros and cons of their playstyles that you found? I've seen both of your Tutorial/Guides for each character, and I'll probably end up playing both anyway, but I'd still like to hear your comparison thoughts.
Jacob Krym an opinion sure its a different question entirely in regards to what each can do vs. which to start with. i find lynn to be very hard to play and something one would need to play consistently and a lot to get the most out of her due to having precise timing with her attacks(gold marks). arisha is more of a glass cannon and somewhat squishy but is more of a memorization in what she has to do. those are pros and cons of each. imo lynn is much more useful doing anything due to ministun from 10stack works on all bosses but with that usefulness also difficulty much higher.
certain boss attacks will still hit through jade fox so shes not totally invincible. I used to use flying snow immediately after using jade fox until I took the time to read the skill description lol. And I should point out that most of the time the skill descriptions aren't very clear so just gotta test things out and pay attention
I found out that when you're doing enhanced for LLRR that if you do LLR with normal short clicks, then right as the dust kicks up from the sweep, you hold R for a split second and it will usually always land an enhanced, practicing based around that got me doing LLRR enhanced smash almost every time even after just reaching rank C fishtail.
ya you can input it that way too, ive mentioned both ways of accomplishing it in the vid. if i do it in short clicks i can get it 100% of the time if im staring at my char for the orange flash
Went back to just holding R for the enhanced attack, going great! Practice makes perfect. With Wind Step, I have to say Lynn is my favorite character in the game next to Kai! Is it just me or does Scythe Evie's DPS not even compare to Lynn! Landing Enhanced/normal swift assassins is faster and deals more damage then trying to stack marks with scythe evie. Current lvl 65 xgun Kai lvl 65 Hybrid Evie lvl 66 Lynn lvl 58 Arisha
Can you explain how the combo works after you go in with Killer Dart? I notice that left clicking after a killer dart is the equivalent of having two left clicks done, meaning that right clicking after a killer dart + left click makes me do the wide sweeping attack. Is there a way for me to do a fishing pole strike after a killer dart immediately?
Hi! I would like to ask you if paladin transformation is better for Lynn as like the dark knight, what would you prefer regarding the playstyle of lynn? I personally chose the dark knight to max out my dmg output and the defense comes from little rat and general dodging. I suppose the paladin does makes sense for raid bosses only? sure... enchants attack speed that's recommended by MOST others(as in the KR players like lagero & junyoop) is like anywhere in the 40 range. but imo i'd go as high as possible(enthusiastic+fast+wellbalanced) but that's just me, lynn gets harder as her atkspeed goes higher to pull off golden marks, and they use their jade fox highly different from how I use it which I see is reducing her overall damage output as i mentioned in the video to blow flying snow off the bat being practically useless to waste 5 bars of sp like that. but to get enthus fast & wellbalanced and still have decent defense you need the level 80 pirate set which costs a fortune. but i see Lynn going plate& heavy armor a lot more sufficient with armadillo. I also mentioned lynn only needs about 140+ stamina at most, she doesnt need anymore than that, when you land 10 marks you get your whole stamina bar back, any more than that is just extra for dodging or is useless if you're good at blocking and landing marks quickly and blasting a 10stack
What are your ending stats as Lynn? I want to know what to aim for Attack power and Defense as a Lynn. I watched your stats video where you explain the needed stats, but I'm failing that requirement as of now (2k on my evie at level 63 +cry) dont get me wrong, I really did get help from it, but I would like to see an example. Also, can there be any subs for Thunder rings? I just reached level 70 yesterday, and currently I'm crafting the apoc and NH stuff. I need to craft shield badge after that and get the nose ring for str. Is there any point on crossing the str cap? I believe it's 2k, so that's when it stops counting it into Attack, right?
Mavisia Chan the stats video is a general guideline for all characters. strength cap is only for critical dmg bonus exceed 2k will continuously add to your attack power, thunder rings are nearly best in slot for accessories at the moment for rings for str based chars. shield badge is fine for earrings if not sarghamiu nose ring is just as good.

oh im glad it helped :D. i chose paladin for lynn cuz of looks LOL and simply because she does a strange cartwheel dance when u use it. i then realized later the SP aura from paladin SORT of helps Jade Fox when its on but its negligible and i like the defense boost, and i think conviction later on will help with a block of a hit over jade fox but idk if that works or not. didn't see a point in boosting her attack when she hits fairly hard enigma glaive - bought it, it was 52 durability when ig ot it, was super cheap and its the highest attack dmg on glaive for level 70 and very good balance for what its worth.
first the arisha guide and now im addicted to this char even though i was already playing as her but i didnt know the difference of the marks ty so much for explaining and u r right its hard but i landed it a few times but i havent tried the FG or the DM skill move with the orange spark and petals yet i still need to rank them and one question do u still do vindictus videos whenever u have time? p.s. ty for explaing vella as well in ur guide video it helped alot

Ali Fucking Baba i went with paladin simply for the sp regen aura so jadefox can last longer even if its very little i dont see a point in getting dk since her 10stack restores all stamina

thanks for replying to these questions despite the age of the video, but how are you wearing full nighthawk with only rank A heavy armor mastery? Also how would you recommend getting your ATK up? I was wondering what your str mastery was at or what you ran for other gear because I'm only hovering around 14k now with a +10 impending valor basilisk glaive and 2 pieces apoc 2 pieces nighthawk (don't have heavy mastery 6 for the helm yet)
you should be able to break 15k easy if you also get accessories like shield badge, or sarghamiu nose ring, 3* yeti leather belt for 79 str if you go cheapy route or evil monster belt or peridot belt, infusion on weapon for bonus atk, definitely want 2/3 piece set, so 2 apoc and 3 nighthawk for your case. thunder rings aren't too expensive and give 120 str. should break at least 2.3k strength, if not make sure you check how many titles you got.

Thanks for the tutorial, Lynn is my favorite character and I am not really able to do any solo runs with her simply because I suck(level 56 right now) but this video of literally raping bosses motivates me to play Vindictus right now and solo some hard bosses with her. I been playing vindictus for about 3 weeks now. and all i can say its a hell of a game to play, i like all the characters but so far only one character has caught my eye, and that is lynn. she is very fast, i been playing as her for about 2 days now. i like the way she moves. i have reached lvl 20 with her. i am very new to this game and i am trying to figure out how to combine some of the moves i have unlocked. maybe it will take me a few more days to know how to combine the moves and combos. see the problem is i cannot afford to use my credit card on the game because i got other things to pay for such as bills etc... so what i would like to know as i am a free to play player, whats the best way for me to reach at your level and what are the best armors and wepons i should use. please could you give me a few tips. i really love this game. and id love to know how to kill those big bosses.
could you do like a dodging video? because i find it hard when to windstep when the boss attacks me. I ended getting hit even when i press spacebar. I dont know if im suppose to windstep before they attack me or when they hit me. Its confusing x,x , sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Also during some skills it won't work on time.
you only explained it a little. Like can you show a video with kinda all raid bosses when you double click before you use little rat? Like whats the timing like and stuff ;/ because just a little information doesnt help me. I'm a visual learner >
if you've played twin chainblade vella thunderleg is practically the equivalent of glint, i think it's a strong enough dodge already little rat is a slash and you have to hit something with it or block an attack with it by slashing at the attack, then you gain windstep buff, so if you use little rat again right after then you use windstep. i explained it for like a whole 2 minutes... i dont know how to be more detailed than that honestly.
i know that. It's just some guys tell me to use it when i get it, but i always end up getting hit. Thats why i ask if you could make a video of when you're using spacebar mostly on raid bosses. Aslo with thunderleg, it doesnt seem invis because i get hit when i use it and its annoying when im trapped in corners.
is your thunderleg maxed? its kind of useless if its not, 0.42 seconds is a lot of time considering most boss attacks swing through your char at 0.15s. what do you mean by tell you to use it when you get it but you always end up getting hit? Little rat works like hurk's deflect except you don't stun the boss or whatever is attacking. You literally just press your dodgekey no direction when an attack comes at you and if you press it again like you said stuck in your corner there you'll windstep behind if you block it properly with little rat You can't block unblockables if that's what you're trying to do, and i don't know which raid bosses you're getting trounced by i thought the defense was fairly OP.
what are your thoughts on light armor? I've been using full raiders for 60 just cause of the additional str and then was planning majesty/apoc for 70. What would be the pros and cons of it? I figure I can just dodge well and get by and also it gives more str than the heavy/plate Would very much appreciate a response, thanks for the video!
Kevin Huang if you can dodge by all means use less def and get more atk power. lol. but defense still shouldnt be disregarded its more of a safety net to death due to poor timing or greed, unless you're super conservative and only attack when you see a real opening, and there's annoying weird attacks that are strange hitboxes like havan's sand mine blast
TraceguyRune as a Scythe Evie, wearing Heavy Armor isn't a good idea, as Bloody Thread, Mark of Death, etc. all revolve around INT. It'll be best to stick with Cloth Armor, Wonderland set gives the most INT for lv 60, and towards lv 75+ you can work on Light Armor :D
Hey i just started the game ( lvl 10 ) and find this rly helpfull cause its like wtf should i skill @ start. I just realised theres a skill named ''XE Move'' which i dont find in this video. Its clickling left and right mouse button together. What is this skill and do i skill or lvl it ?
x1Lynx1x that onyl exists in XE kr or XE Eu, i dont know what it actually does, and never needed to cuz it doesnt exist in NA version. so i assume you can live with or without it.
x1Lynx1x well the skill isn't really that good since it costs you 20% of your hp. so you won't find someone using this skill in a raid or something similar. but i think the skill can be useful as a spear lann since you can immediately use your 4th smash (LLLLR) and spin until you crit.another use is in pvp. but only if you have like full hp and you opponent is about to die. BUT DON'T RANK UP THIS SKILL YOU'LL NEVER USE IT
Mischali Nice way to shit yourself, XE move for lynn is actually one of her best moves.(Yay for 4th smash after XE move) It's damage is low but hey, it's really useful and you'll use it a lot once you don't suck anymore :P
FaseLuran oh yes right i didn't think about the double swift assassin. but since the XE move doesn't deal that much dmg it isn't worth to max or lvl it anyway.

A bit of a late question (don't know if you'll see this or still play the game). How do you charge up Killer Dart so fast? Most I can do is just a weak regular smash if I don't hold the button for long, is there some sort of chain going on between Little Rat and Killer Dart or did they change the skills since this video? Thanks in advance!
animesol i use iron flag, its a great ranged shockwave to trigger marks especially if i die and need to pop them b4 they expire in the 60 seconds time frame, or if the boss teleports around a lot. it's very cheap to cast and has no delay
Great guide. Though, I was just wondering where you would place Lynn in terms of on the dps charts? Kind of a new player and not sure if I stop maining my Lynn and go for something else.
plate armor.. you asked which type. if you're asking what i did, i was practically naked until 60 except for weapon and had a level 3 accessory still on with guildies telling me to upgrade my equip. i already went over what equipment to go for late game in the first 5 minutes.. =.=''... level 60 is obtainable within 8 hours starting with 0 gold because i did it streamed it and the total time tallied was ~8 hours.
you dont have to charge it all the way, charging it just makes the lunge distance farther. its a matter of practicing the timing until you know when lynn starts to charge and just release it right away
KyrandisX I mean like even when i tried to do that, it still had time to charge, maybe lagging problem caused this ?? Cause I'm not in EU but i'm playing EU server
the charge is only for distance it doesnt make the attack stronger, it could be lag, it could be other things but it still shouldnt' affect you if you solo it won't be lag unless your computer is very choppy on frames per second(fps). and if its not any of those.. it could be the cursed EU differences. I have no idea why EU is so vastly different in character mechanics :/. Like you shouldn't need to charge it up if you're right in the enemies face, I normally just click and hold for like a second and let go just to make that front dart stab. other than that i dont know what else to tell you
I think it's must be the EU different when I press and hold RB , my spear sparkle but when it hit there was no effect of Furious Tiger, only when the charge bar appeared and the spear hit hard the effect show up then. Grrah, it's fucking annoying when solo a boss with a slow dart

Carter Jones theres an option checkbox to turn that off in the settings where its like press smash to kick when near a downed enemy or something, just uncheck it

Can you explain the little rat that makes you go behind the boss at 14:10? I don't quite understand the double dodge thing, I've tried and I either do little rat only going backwards or thunderleg going in the direction of the key I pressed
when you deflect/block an incoming attack with little rat you gain a Wind Step buff, during the little rat attack animation if you hit the dodge key again it will place you behind the target. if you dont use up the windstep buff you can hold on to it and if you little rat-slash a target instead while you still have windstep buff if you press your dodge key you will teleport behind that target. if you do not deflect an attack/block an attack with little rat you cannot go behind any target.
Oh okay thanks, I was stupidly sitting on a boat hitting dodge twice thinking it would work somehow and I had just been oblivious to it this whole time, I didnt even think that it was windstep being used as it was being gained. Thank you!
also Ive been practicing my zhen enhanced attacks and I can get it 85% of the time when Im NOT fighting, and the moment I enter into any sort of battle, like from any mob, I suddenly can't land any of my enhanced hits. Maybe one or two out of like 20 will actually become enhanced, Ive had this problem since 40's and now Im in my 60's any advice?
when practicing alone you don't have the pressure of being scared of getting hit, the problem isn't that you can pull it off, it's that you need to be able to pull it off without even looking at your character simply by getting into habit of timing. that's all i suspect that's preventing you from accomplishign zhen strikes
Having played both Lynn and Hurk, which is easier to play? Which does more damage? Which is better in solo? I just started a lynn and it seems easier than my 72 hurk did at that level but that might be cause i know how to play a little now.
hurk is easily the most soloable hero in all of vindictus and is easy to play compared to lynn and also most damage, no other hero in vindictus except maybe twin spear lann can fight with nothing but smashes, you literally never need to normal attack with hurk
thanks im not sure if u reply to this stuff i just downloaded this game a week ago im level 12 =p is this character strong end game? and is there a cash shop to wear over armor and stuff =) also can u reset skills and stuff? is there a lot of people playing stuff end game and find groups etc?
all characters are strong end game, that's entirely skill dependent. example: i do 20% dmg to the boss' total hp in a party of 8 with 14k attack and another person has 18k attack but is 10% under me. It's VERY player skill dependnt you'll be OP based on skill, not on gear, gear only accelerates the rate but if you're dead or you're just busy drinking potions all game you'll be doing a lot less than someone else who knows how to play their char, all classes are unique and can all easily be top tier if played right or ppl know what they're doing. yes there is a cash shop to wear over armor and stuff, outfitter is avatar which'll directlyl sit on top of armor, and armor itself is.. just armor lol yea you can reset skills costs real $ though. but it's not really necessary because overtime you'll be able to max out everything. depends how hardcore you play the game and farm ability points haha i dont know what is considered a lot of people playing. the game used to have 500 players or so when i started in its beta now its over 10k supposedly. i can say the game is active and isnt' dead :P does that answer it?
yeah it did help lol u should make a dropbox containing all the skills important to max to for your videos as well also its good that your making guides for this game anytime i google something its like from 1 year ago or 2 years ago lol or sometimes 3 =p you should make a guide on all classes and stuff =)
Jordan marie mm im havent made one on every class.. i did a review on every class up to s2 e2 updates. theres' a reason there isnt a guide on older ones yet and those chars are more established already so most ppl dont have a problem learning them until some upcoming stuff later.

I have a question, I have watch this video over and over again... but I try to land my first 3 stacks but often fail .. so is it like hurk mainly block than attack? can you list the order of ur combo?
no you just land your hits, hurk is different. infact all characters are different from one another none of them play the same. i dont have an order for combo its just land the hit and get out. i followed the tips at character creation that lynn is an in and out char. o_O if yuo're sticking to a boss you're playing her wrong for sure since she wasnt designed to stick to a boss, i think i even mention that in the video

So I got a question, I can't help but notice sometimes my character attacks the wrong way. I have it set to attack where my camera is facing, yet, my character sometimes will like for instance, I'll fight Maios, and she'll turn and attack the invulnerable ghosts that are barely on my screen behind or next to me, not the boss that is literally right there. And once during deathrone, she was stuck on attacking at a wall, no matter where deathrone was. What settings do you use? This is driving me nuts.
liljc95 i have a lot of settings turned off and i turn off attack in camera direction and lock off. i don't like being constrained and rather have full control.
Alright, I just changed my setting last night. It does seem like the 'attack towards camera' would lock on random enemies, and not actually attack where your camera faces. Thanks for the reply.
I always wondered, does little rat have a short delay before invulnerability starts? Also how do you fluidly cut your combo into little rat when you have to. Is it just timing?
there is no delay afaik, to make it activate fluidly just don't mash your attack buttons when you're about to use it else the inputs get "delayed" or is busy inputting into your attack instead of little rat.
Thanks Kyrandis! Yeah, I think I should try to not over-commit. I just reached level 70, so hopefully crafting a Champion Glaive will help with the much needed attack speed :)
hey bro im still getting no weapon for my hurk.... lvl25 still nothing...... i always get other character's weapon instead of hurk's....now im just dealing no damage to all bosses... please is there another way of getting weapon? other then farming bosses please i need ur help
i always just farmed my weapon, the gnoll chieftain one level 12, then the 24 one using blood prince stuff, by about 20+ you should be gaining gold already from quests and runs. then i upgrade that to the 39 one later on that requires flicker break off/killdrop if you're lucky & goliath backleg breakoff, and sometimes i go ivory at 50 or skip straight to 60 weapon from 39. i do all this with 0 gold for levels 1-23. at 24 i might sometimes spend like 5k-10k on market just buying ulchas holy sword if blood prince's blood drinker doesnt drop it. especially with hurk. plus you get free weapons from quests and level up gift pack that comes with any new char you make **so i have no idea why you can't find any new weapon apart from ur level 1 weapon** you have 4 ways of getting weapons, boss drop(medium), market(could be overpriced if its a new char release, ultra hard), farm mats & craft(easiest), traded to you(easy/hard). i sure hope you're not skipping quests.

i think plate. i have vindictus playlists, multiple ones and its on my front page.. right underneath uploads. i try to keep my channel as organized as possible.
He doesnt play vindi much anymore lol but battleshade is kinda part of the holy trinity alongside Grimden and Whip where it does crazy dmg- Glaive is still pretty decent tho

i think after a certain level it blows up you need it ranked or something, might be too low level for it to work not sure, if that isn't it then its possibly a bug.

so for instance nighthawk set, if you wear the full set you need heavy armor proficiency rank 6 and plate armor rank 6, you need both. if you armor set combination you'll more than likely need two types of armor proficiency's brought to r6 or higher. same with mystic odyssey set level 60 requires r9 of both heavy and plate. you'll have to decide for yourself what you want there isn't really a best, they are all good in some respect towards one category; defense, attack, higher capacity of stamina, higher overall stats for the consequence of something else. most will wear a 2 piece of one set and 3 piece of another for set bonuses, and some of them are straight pricey if gold isn't a problem for you then just get the ones that grant you as much stats as possible by mixing 2 different sets with 3 of one set like mystic odyssey and the other being 2 pieces of dancing blade then you get +65 str for set bonuses from dancing and +94 str +23 wil from mystic odyssey but thatll cost you a fortune for what its worth. and unless you want to be a crazy hyper expensive medium defense glass cannon late then you'll want light for wellbalanced pirate for level 80 or if you want to go extreme at 90 and do reinforced echo etc then you'll want heavy and plate. i cannot decide these things for you or recommend you into something oyu might hate when i don't know what you're aiming for.
KyrandisX well i wanted to go with something balanced as im new to the game and doing dodges with shift is still new to me.i want to do some decent amount of dmg but when i f*** up my shift dodge to not get 1 shoted by a boss and i dont want be slow as f*** aswell. that dancing blade set (just googled it) looks amazing but i willl wait for your reply to get a better picture of it all.thank you for the time you took to write all this down !
lol change your controls to legacy(it's not an option just old vindictus players have this control scheme) vindictus, they defaulted dodge to shift cuz space used to be jump which was retarded. make dodge spacebar and shift to be sprint. if you want something decent and just balanced then dancing blade set is the one lol its for lynn only that or mystic odyssey set

i think 2x apoc and 3x nh for armor is fine for 70.. and the most inexpensive and efficient, easily obtainable, good enough defense for everything all thats left is to break 15k attack which can be done with +10 enigma or other glaive with maelstrom & impending/twinkling. i don't lik explosive. too many negatives.

A useful thing to notice is, when you get the timing right on the Enhanced Zhen Smashes the damage numbers will be yellow instead of red, same with the enhanced marks on bosses.
Oh my god. My lynns level 75 and I've just been slowly applying the blue marks and then using that sp skill where you poke 3 times to make them gold. Didn't even know you could apply em naturally. Fml

Eddie Lee Best time to upgrade your armor is 60 70 and 80.
From 1-60 1-30 gear can get by generally with no armor trainee sword until blood prince weapon level 30, then the level 39 bloodprince evolve weapon, then ivory weapon at 50 if you wish or wait until 60 if you're courageous or crazy, and such. Accessories are important upgrades more than actual gear. Nighthawk at level 70 for cost efficient stuff.

In your opinion, which of the two is more technical to play, could you list the pros and cons of their playstyles that you found? I've seen both of your Tutorial/Guides for each character, and I'll probably end up playing both anyway, but I'd still like to hear your comparison thoughts.
Jacob Krym an opinion sure its a different question entirely in regards to what each can do vs. which to start with. i find lynn to be very hard to play and something one would need to play consistently and a lot to get the most out of her due to having precise timing with her attacks(gold marks). arisha is more of a glass cannon and somewhat squishy but is more of a memorization in what she has to do. those are pros and cons of each. imo lynn is much more useful doing anything due to ministun from 10stack works on all bosses but with that usefulness also difficulty much higher.

certain boss attacks will still hit through jade fox so shes not totally invincible. I used to use flying snow immediately after using jade fox until I took the time to read the skill description lol. And I should point out that most of the time the skill descriptions aren't very clear so just gotta test things out and pay attention
unblockables and instagib will kill you in jadefox, activating jadefox gives you about 1 second of invuln

I tried to answer most things that were asked during the hurk vid for lynn this time so that's why this one was a quite a bit lengthier!
I found out that when you're doing enhanced for LLRR that if you do LLR with normal short clicks, then right as the dust kicks up from the sweep, you hold R for a split second and it will usually always land an enhanced, practicing based around that got me doing LLRR enhanced smash almost every time even after just reaching rank C fishtail.
ya you can input it that way too, ive mentioned both ways of accomplishing it in the vid. if i do it in short clicks i can get it 100% of the time if im staring at my char for the orange flash

Went back to just holding R for the enhanced attack, going great! Practice makes perfect. With Wind Step, I have to say Lynn is my favorite character in the game next to Kai! Is it just me or does Scythe Evie's DPS not even compare to Lynn! Landing Enhanced/normal swift assassins is faster and deals more damage then trying to stack marks with scythe evie.

Can you explain how the combo works after you go in with Killer Dart? I notice that left clicking after a killer dart is the equivalent of having two left clicks done, meaning that right clicking after a killer dart + left click makes me do the wide sweeping attack. I personally chose the dark knight to max out my dmg output and the defense comes from little rat and general dodging. I suppose the paladin does makes sense for raid bosses only? Correct me if I´m wrong.

enchants attack speed that's recommended by MOST others(as in the KR players like lagero & junyoop) is like anywhere in the 40 range. but imo i'd go as high as possible(enthusiastic+fast+wellbalanced) but that's just me,
lynn gets harder as her atkspeed goes higher to pull off golden marks, and they use their jade fox highly different from how I use it which I see is reducing her overall damage output as i mentioned in the video to blow flying snow off the bat being practically useless to waste 5 bars of sp like that.
but to get enthus fast & wellbalanced and still have decent defense you need the level 80 pirate set which costs a fortune. but i see Lynn going plate& heavy armor a lot more sufficient with armadillo.
I also mentioned lynn only needs about 140+ stamina at most, she doesnt need anymore than that, when you land 10 marks you get your whole stamina bar back, any more than that is just extra for dodging or is useless if you're good at blocking and landing marks quickly and blasting a 10stack

What are your ending stats as Lynn? I want to know what to aim for Attack power and Defense as a Lynn. I watched your stats video where you explain the needed stats, but I'm failing that requirement as of now (2k on my evie at level 63 +cry) dont get me wrong, I really did get help from it, but I would like to see an example. Also, can there be any subs for Thunder rings? I just reached level 70 yesterday, and currently I'm crafting the apoc and NH stuff. I need to craft shield badge after that and get the nose ring for str. Is there any point on crossing the str cap? I believe it's 2k, so that's when it stops counting it into Attack, right?
Mavisia Chan the stats video is a general guideline for all characters. strength cap is only for critical dmg bonus exceed 2k will continuously add to your attack power, thunder rings are nearly best in slot for accessories at the moment for rings for str based chars. shield badge is fine for earrings if not sarghamiu nose ring is just as good.

i chose paladin for lynn cuz of looks LOL and simply because she does a strange cartwheel dance when u use it. i then realized later the SP aura from paladin SORT of helps Jade Fox when its on but its negligible and i like the defense boost, and i think conviction later on will help with a block of a hit over jade fox but idk if that works or not. didn't see a point in boosting her attack when she hits fairly hard
enigma glaive - bought it, it was 52 durability when ig ot it, was super cheap and its the highest attack dmg on glaive for level 70 and very good balance for what its worth.
first the arisha guide and now im addicted to this char even though i was already playing as her but i didnt know the difference of the marks ty so much for explaining and u r right its hard but i landed it a few times but i havent tried the FG or the DM skill move with the orange spark and petals yet i still need to rank them and one question do u still do vindictus videos whenever u have time?

thanks for replying to these questions despite the age of the video, but how are you wearing full nighthawk with only rank A heavy armor mastery? Also how would you recommend getting your ATK up? I was wondering what your str mastery was at or what you ran for other gear because I'm only hovering around 14k now with a +10 impending valor basilisk glaive and 2 pieces apoc 2 pieces nighthawk (don't have heavy mastery 6 for the helm yet)
you should be able to break 15k easy if you also get accessories like shield badge, or sarghamiu nose ring, 3* yeti leather belt for 79 str if you go cheapy route or evil monster belt or peridot belt, infusion on weapon for bonus atk, definitely want 2/3 piece set, so 2 apoc and 3 nighthawk for your case. thunder rings aren't too expensive and give 120 str. should break at least 2.3k strength, if not make sure you check how many titles you got.
Thunder rings are like 30 mil I think... Pretty expensive, haha. I have 176 titles, Shield badge evil monster badge. What is your strength mastery at?
str mast rA. 176 titles isnt a lot you should have like 240+.

I been playing vindictus for about 3 weeks now. and all i can say its a hell of a game to play, i like all the characters but so far only one character has caught my eye, and that is lynn. she is very fast, i been playing as her for about 2 days now. i like the way she moves. i have reached lvl 20 with her. i am very new to this game
and i am trying to figure out how to combine some of the moves i have unlocked. maybe it will take me a few more days to know how to combine the moves and combos.
see the problem is i cannot afford to use my credit card on the game because i got other things to pay for such as bills etc...
so what i would like to know as i am a free to play player, whats the best way for me to reach at your level and what are the best armors and wepons i should use. please could you give me a few tips. i really love this game. and id love to know how to kill those big bosses.
could you do like a dodging video? because i find it hard when to windstep when the boss attacks me. I ended getting hit even when i press spacebar. I dont know if im suppose to windstep before they attack me or when they hit me. Its confusing x,x , sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Also during some skills it won't work on time.

if you've played twin chainblade vella thunderleg is practically the equivalent of glint, i think it's a strong enough dodge already
little rat is a slash and you have to hit something with it or block an attack with it by slashing at the attack, then you gain windstep buff, so if you use little rat again right after then you use windstep. i explained it for like a whole 2 minutes... i dont know how to be more detailed than that honestly.
i know that. It's just some guys tell me to use it when i get it, but i always end up getting hit. Thats why i ask if you could make a video of when you're using spacebar mostly on raid bosses. Aslo with thunderleg, it doesnt seem invis because i get hit when i use it and its annoying when im trapped in corners.
is your thunderleg maxed? its kind of useless if its not, 0.42 seconds is a lot of time considering most boss attacks swing through your char at 0.15s. what do you mean by tell you to use it when you get it but you always end up getting hit? Little rat works like hurk's deflect except you don't stun the boss or whatever is attacking. You literally just press your dodgekey no direction when an attack comes at you and if you press it again like you said stuck in your corner there you'll windstep behind if you block it properly with little rat
You can't block unblockables if that's what you're trying to do, and i don't know which raid bosses you're getting trounced by i thought the defense was fairly OP.
what are your thoughts on light armor? I've been using full raiders for 60 just cause of the additional str and then was planning majesty/apoc for 70. What would be the pros and cons of it? I figure I can just dodge well and get by and also it gives more str than the heavy/plate

Kevin Huang if you can dodge by all means use less def and get more atk power. lol. but defense still shouldnt be disregarded its more of a safety net to death due to poor timing or greed, unless you're super conservative and only attack when you see a real opening, and there's annoying weird attacks that are strange hitboxes like havan's sand mine blast
I'd use heavy armor. Scythe Evie gets K/Od in 1-2 hits even with that mana shield at rA.
TraceguyRune as a Scythe Evie, wearing Heavy Armor isn't a good idea, as Bloody Thread, Mark of Death, etc. all revolve around INT. It'll be best to stick with Cloth Armor, Wonderland set gives the most INT for lv 60, and towards lv 75+ you can work on Light Armor :D

Hey i just started the game ( lvl 10 ) and find this rly helpfull cause its like wtf should i skill @ start. I just realised theres a skill named ''XE Move'' which i dont find in this video. Its clickling left and right mouse button together. What is this skill and do i skill or lvl it ?
x1Lynx1x that onyl exists in XE kr or XE Eu, i dont know what it actually does, and never needed to cuz it doesnt exist in NA version. so i assume you can live with or without it.
x1Lynx1x well the skill isn't really that good since it costs you 20% of your hp. so you won't find someone using this skill in a raid or something similar. but i think the skill can be useful as a spear lann since you can immediately use your 4th smash (LLLLR) and spin until you crit.another use is in pvp. but only if you have like full hp and you opponent is about to die.

animesol i use iron flag, its a great ranged shockwave to trigger marks especially if i die and need to pop them b4 they expire in the 60 seconds time frame, or if the boss teleports around a lot. it's very cheap to cast and has no delay

plate armor.. you asked which type. if you're asking what i did, i was practically naked until 60 except for weapon and had a level 3 accessory still on with guildies telling me to upgrade my equip.
i already went over what equipment to go for late game in the first 5 minutes.. =.=''... level 60 is obtainable within 8 hours starting with 0 gold because i did it streamed it and the total time tallied was ~8 hours.

you dont have to charge it all the way, charging it just makes the lunge distance farther. its a matter of practicing the timing until you know when lynn starts to charge and just release it right away

the charge is only for distance it doesnt make the attack stronger, it could be lag, it could be other things but it still shouldnt' affect you if you solo it won't be lag unless your computer is very choppy on frames per second(fps). and if its not any of those.. it could be the cursed EU differences. I have no idea why EU is so vastly different in character mechanics :/.
Like you shouldn't need to charge it up if you're right in the enemies face, I normally just click and hold for like a second and let go just to make that front dart stab. other than that i dont know what else to tell you
I think it's must be the EU different when I press and hold RB , my spear sparkle but when it hit there was no effect of Furious Tiger, only when the charge bar appeared and the spear hit hard the effect show up then.

Hey do you know if theres a way to rebind the kick key away from right click for smash? I always try to dart and end up kicking some dead body on the ground and messing up
Carter Jones theres an option checkbox to turn that off in the settings where its like press smash to kick when near a downed enemy or something, just uncheck it

Can you explain the little rat that makes you go behind the boss at 14:10? I don't quite understand the double dodge thing, I've tried and I either do little rat only going backwards or thunderleg going in the direction of the key I pressed
when you deflect/block an incoming attack with little rat you gain a Wind Step buff, during the little rat attack animation if you hit the dodge key again it will place you behind the target. if you dont use up the windstep buff you can hold on to it and if you little rat-slash a target instead while you still have windstep buff if you press your dodge key you will teleport behind that target. if you do not deflect an attack/block an attack with little rat you cannot go behind any target.
Oh okay thanks, I was stupidly sitting on a boat hitting dodge twice thinking it would work somehow and I had just been oblivious to it this whole time, I didnt even think that it was windstep being used as it was being gained. Thank you!
also Ive been practicing my zhen enhanced attacks and I can get it 85% of the time when Im NOT fighting, and the moment I enter into any sort of battle, like from any mob, I suddenly can't land any of my enhanced hits. Maybe one or two out of like 20 will actually become enhanced, Ive had this problem since 40's and now Im in my 60's any advice?
when practicing alone you don't have the pressure of being scared of getting hit, the problem isn't that you can pull it off, it's that you need to be able to pull it off without even looking at your character simply by getting into habit of timing. that's all i suspect that's preventing you from accomplishign zhen strikes

Having played both Lynn and Hurk, which is easier to play? Which does more damage? Which is better in solo? I just started a lynn and it seems easier than my 72 hurk did at that level but that might be cause i know how to play a little now.
hurk is easily the most soloable hero in all of vindictus and is easy to play compared to lynn and also most damage, no other hero in vindictus except maybe twin spear lann can fight with nothing but smashes, you literally never need to normal attack with hurk
does the sp aura work with jade fox as you transformed for palladin?
What armor types should I choose when play as lynn? (light,heavy,plate?)

all characters are strong end game, that's entirely skill dependent. example: i do 20% dmg to the boss' total hp in a party of 8 with 14k attack and another person has 18k attack but is 10% under me. It's VERY player skill dependnt you'll be OP based on skill, not on gear, gear only accelerates the rate but if you're dead or you're just busy drinking potions all game you'll be doing a lot less than someone else who knows how to play their char, all classes are unique and can all easily be top tier if played right or ppl know what they're doing.
yes there is a cash shop to wear over armor and stuff, outfitter is avatar which'll directlyl sit on top of armor, and armor itself is.. just armor lol
yea you can reset skills costs real $ though. but it's not really necessary because overtime you'll be able to max out everything. depends how hardcore you play the game and farm ability points haha
i dont know what is considered a lot of people playing. the game used to have 500 players or so when i started in its beta now its over 10k supposedly. i can say the game is active and isnt' dead :P does that answer it?

Jordan marie mm im havent made one on every class.. i did a review on every class up to s2 e2 updates. theres' a reason there isnt a guide on older ones yet and those chars are more established already so most ppl dont have a problem learning them until some upcoming stuff later.

I have a question, I have watch this video over and over again... but I try to land my first 3 stacks but often fail .. so is it like hurk mainly block than attack? can you list the order of ur combo?
no you just land your hits, hurk is different. infact all characters are different from one another none of them play the same. i dont have an order for combo its just land the hit and get out. i followed the tips at character creation that lynn is an in and out char. o_O if yuo're sticking to a boss you're playing her wrong for sure since she wasnt designed to stick to a boss, i think i even mention that in the video

nope, just 2 of them lynn and vella, i stopped most chars at 60-75ish. although i might bring my lann to 80 next. huge bonus at level 80.
So I got a question, I can't help but notice sometimes my character attacks the wrong way. I have it set to attack where my camera is facing, yet, my character sometimes will like for instance, I'll fight Maios, and she'll turn and attack the invulnerable ghosts that are barely on my screen behind or next to me, not the boss that is literally right there. And once during deathrone, she was stuck on attacking at a wall, no matter where deathrone was. What settings do you use? This is driving me nuts.
liljc95 i have a lot of settings turned off and i turn off attack in camera direction and lock off. i don't like being constrained and rather have full control.
Alright, I just changed my setting last night. It does seem like the 'attack towards camera' would lock on random enemies, and not actually attack where your camera faces. Thanks for the reply.

I always wondered, does little rat have a short delay before invulnerability starts? Also how do you fluidly cut your combo into little rat when you have to. Is it just timing?
there is no delay afaik, to make it activate fluidly just don't mash your attack buttons when you're about to use it else the inputs get "delayed" or is busy inputting into your attack instead of little rat.
Thanks Kyrandis! Yeah, I think I should try to not over-commit. I just reached level 70, so hopefully crafting a Champion Glaive will help with the much needed attack speed :)

hey bro im still getting no weapon for my hurk.... lvl25 still nothing...... i always get other character's weapon instead of hurk's....now im just dealing no damage to all bosses... please is there another way of getting weapon? other then farming bosses please i need ur help
i always just farmed my weapon, the gnoll chieftain one level 12, then the 24 one using blood prince stuff, by about 20+ you should be gaining gold already from quests and runs.
then i upgrade that to the 39 one later on that requires flicker break off/killdrop if you're lucky & goliath backleg breakoff, and sometimes i go ivory at 50 or skip straight to 60 weapon from 39.
i do all this with 0 gold for levels 1-23. at 24 i might sometimes spend like 5k-10k on market just buying ulchas holy sword if blood prince's blood drinker doesnt drop it. especially with hurk.
plus you get free weapons from quests and level up gift pack that comes with any new char you make **so i have no idea why you can't find any new weapon apart from ur level 1 weapon**
you have 4 ways of getting weapons, boss drop(medium), market(could be overpriced if its a new char release, ultra hard), farm mats & craft(easiest), traded to you(easy/hard).
i sure hope you're not skipping quests.

He doesnt play vindi much anymore lol but battleshade is kinda part of the holy trinity alongside Grimden and Whip where it does crazy dmg- Glaive is still pretty decent tho

i think after a certain level it blows up you need it ranked or something, might be too low level for it to work not sure, if that isn't it then its possibly a bug.

Just AJoX you'll eventually need both (e.g. pirate set has both light and heavy armor types for a whole set)
KyrandisX so on what lvl from 60 ( i'm 59) until 90 should i get ? i mean armor sets and combinations. should i get half light/half plate or full light plate ? i'm really new and i need some help,btw thank you for the reply.
so for instance nighthawk set, if you wear the full set you need heavy armor proficiency rank 6 and plate armor rank 6, you need both. if you armor set combination you'll more than likely need two types of armor proficiency's brought to r6 or higher. same with mystic odyssey set level 60 requires r9 of both heavy and plate. you'll have to decide for yourself what you want there isn't really a best, they are all good in some respect towards one category; defense, attack, higher capacity of stamina, higher overall stats for the consequence of something else. most will wear a 2 piece of one set and 3 piece of another for set bonuses, and some of them are straight pricey if gold isn't a problem for you then just get the ones that grant you as much stats as possible by mixing 2 different sets with 3 of one set like mystic odyssey and the other being 2 pieces of dancing blade then you get +65 str for set bonuses from dancing and +94 str +23 wil from mystic odyssey but thatll cost you a fortune for what its worth.
and unless you want to be a crazy hyper expensive medium defense glass cannon late then you'll want light for wellbalanced pirate for level 80 or if you want to go extreme at 90 and do reinforced echo etc then you'll want heavy and plate.
i cannot decide these things for you or recommend you into something oyu might hate when i don't know what you're aiming for.
KyrandisX well i wanted to go with something balanced as im new to the game and doing dodges with shift is still new to me.i want to do some decent amount of dmg but when i f*** up my shift dodge to not get 1 shoted by a boss and i dont want be slow as f*** aswell. that dancing blade set (just googled it) looks amazing but i willl wait for your reply to get a better picture of it all.thank you for the time you took to write all this down !
lol change your controls to legacy(it's not an option just old vindictus players have this control scheme) vindictus, they defaulted dodge to shift cuz space used to be jump which was retarded. make dodge spacebar and shift to be sprint. if you want something decent and just balanced then dancing blade set is the one lol its for lynn only that or mystic odyssey set
Is it worth to enchant and enhance your level 70s gear? I've heard a lot of people say that I should save money for 80s gear...
i think its worth it to enhance it a little bit but to +10 not really.+3 or +5'ing all your gear is like a 200-300 extra def.
what do you recommend for 70 glaives, and should i buy enhanced/enchanted or clean? i only have 29m right now, and i dont want nighthawk glaive. also, does low durability weapon fail to enchant more? i only have 3 enhancement rune left and +10 is necessary.

i think 2x apoc and 3x nh for armor is fine for 70.. and the most inexpensive and efficient, easily obtainable, good enough defense for everything all thats left is to break 15k attack which can be done with +10 enigma or other glaive with maelstrom & impending/twinkling. i don't lik explosive. too many negatives.

i have noticed that whenever you do an enhanced smashed, lynn shouts different than when using normal smash.

yes she yells differently i mention it briefly at the side by side comparison part. jade fox cd is 2mins.
