Not sure. Seems the u shaped is becoming a big deal but the installation for my window not so sure it’ll work I just need to install and cool my lower level lol
The funny thing is that you say that this unit isn't the fancy U-Shape style but this unit, IMO,this is the fancy version. The fact that these units are, like my Midea Duo 4-1, able to act as a pretty serious Heat Pump, is just amazing. Im hoping that they are able to heat in even colder temperatures in the next few years with something like a "Hyper Heat" version that has a drain pan heater and other fancy engineering magic! We are finally getting a serious disruption in the 120V window unit market.
Yeah, not sure the window units will get low temp option. I think the fan blades are too small and the unit is too compact and the ice build up would make the unit break or something. The larger outdoor units seem to have it figured out so who knows. I live in San Diego and this unit should be good year round 99 percent of the time and I am looking forward to the savings. With the heater function this unit should pay for itself in a few years as I paid full price from amazon.

I've had a unit in the box, in hot Southern California, for 2 YEARS, and now that you have posted this...my unit will be installed today!!! Thanks so much for posting this vid. Appreciate your one-handed effort. 👍🏾💯😀.
What have you noticed about your electric bill? I am actually thinking about a couple of these for my living room/kitchen dining area and the smaller one for my bedroom/bathroom area and shutting off my central unit. It gobbles about 3500 watts an I am currently using 90-100 kilowatts a day. I think I might knock at least $100 a month off my electric bill and the rates sure aren't going to go down.
I wish I had a better way of knowing this but I don’t. Especially bc I installed it right as our days were getting reaaallly hot down here in Louisiana. My bill went up but it’ll keep going up thru August bc of the heat
Did I hear a guy say, "Read the instructions?" Just kidding. I am looking to purchase this same unit from Amazon. All of the stats look good on it and it does pretty much everything from dehumidifying to heating and cooling" I am in Louisiana too so I am trying to maybe help my central air keep up and hopefully cycle off every now and then. Now that it has been a year, what are your thoughts on this unit. Are you still pleased with it? Thanks for putting this up....great job.
Haha as I get older, I read more and more directions! Funny thing, I’m an engineer and half the problems at work seem to be caused by not reading directions. Anyway, we still love our window unit! It runs from 8a-8p every day and does a great job of running our central ac less. It’s in a living room window (technically sun room). We set the window unit at 74 and central at 76 most days and window unit runs basically nonstop. My latest demco bill was $109
@@fiveohmxco Ha ha.... at 75 years old, I can identify. Don't you just love it when you don't read the instructions and you get to part # 137 and it says, "This must be installed first" 🤣I think I will go ahead and pull the trigger on this unit...it marks off all of the check marks. Great video by the way.
So, is your AC still working? Mine worked fine for 3 months last year, but is dead now. Tried to run it a couple of days ago and the compressor doesn't start. After a couple of minutes it shuts itself down and it gives a error code EC 07. Apparently abnormal compressor/fan start fault. Contacted Midea customer support, answered their questions on troubleshooting. They asked for pictures of the code and model and serial number. Got an email back saying good news they were going to send me a reimbursement check, it just needed approved by whatever department. Will wait and see... This is the second defective AC in a row. Had a GE Profile before this one that had a defective blower motor.
Wow! That sucks. Mines still working good, although I’ve only used it maybe 3 or 4 random days this year, in the past couple months. I used the heat function a good bit over winter. At least they’re reimbursing you.. hopefully…
@@fiveohmxco I received my reimbursement check a couple of days ago. Pretty impressed it was that quick. Might consider rolling the dice on another Midea AC since they seem to have good customer service.
Great video. Thanks. What are the true dimensions (width- front side to side) without the side panels being attached? I recently ordered this one thru Amazon (same model as yours) since its a 12000btu, an energy star, & an inverter unit & ultimately because the description page showed it is 19.5 wide without the side panels. Im really hoping the real width without the side panels is less than 21 inches since its showing it is 19.5 inches width with the side panels not being attached. It should fit nice and tight. I like it comes with a heater, but i doubt ill be using it much. Thanks for sharing. I'll be putting mine thru an RV window. Custom frame building DIY thing. 😊
@@fiveohmxcothis unit is really nice. The U shaped one was to wide to fit and pretty much matches this one. So with This model here it was sized right, works really well & is way quieter than both my 13000btu rooftop A/C (RV) and the 12000btu Midea Duo portable I’ve tried using (I’m returning it now). This one is definitely way stronger at cooling than the others mentioned. Because it was less than 19.5 inches, side to side, I was able to fit it in my sliding window in the kitchen. 20.5”. Thanks for making this video. I’ll be buying one more of these units for the bedroom & not only that, this saved me over $3000 needing to replace both rooftops. The front one stopped working recently & the bedroom one is struggling (both over ten years old) it doesn’t reach to front well. This Midea model works way way better than the rooftops and all the portables I’ve tried. I couldn’t find a window unit that would fit in here and has more than 10000btu until I saw and watched this video here. Thanks again & again for making this video. You helped me find a perfect sized ac that fits in here without tearing up anything. and it’s energy efficient plus very strong. 😊 thank you thank you thank you. It was getting to hot 🥵 in here. Problem solved.
This is great to hear! Happy I could help. And yea i agree, these window units seem to make more and more sense compared to rooftop units or in my case even central ac. I plan to look into mini-splits when our central ac decides to die
Hi, nope! Most of the weight is in the vertical direction, so the bottom of the window frame supports the weight well. There’s not a lot a of pull on the sliding window
Si, lo uso en mi oficina en el verano que tiene muchas ventanas y se enfría el cuarto y también parte de la sala conectada. Corre menos el AC grande de la casa cuando uso esto también
I actually just picked this up an hour ago from Costco. Haven't even opened it yet. Have you had any issues with it? It's hard to find much info about this because it's a Costco specific model but I did see some people saying it was underpowered or that it didn't get that cold. Thanks
We’ve been really happy with it, haven’t had any issues. But again, we’re using it in addition to our central AC in Southern Louisiana. It’s been great to keep our sunroom cool and help take a load off our central AC. Our AC actually went out at like 2am a few weeks ago and the window unit kept the house comfortable til we were able to fix it around 10am
I to bought this from Costco July 24th and I'm taking it back today started sounding like a helicopter 😆 I'm guessing from the compressor because it comes and goes but it's really loud and annoying! Going with a hisense see how that one goes.
I heard there was an update for this unit for it to work in colder temperatures is that correct? What the lowest temperature that has work for you without shutting off?
Question, how much inches does the face of the unit protrudes out? I have a gate that swings open and close so i’d like to account for that space and still be able to close my gate when the ac is installed.
Very helpful! Thank you - Im about to install but dont really want to drill holes in my window frame, will it be okay without it? My previous window AC wasnt drilled in
Yes, I think you’ll be fine without it. I’ve installed them in the past without drilling. Just need to keep an eye on the side wings and make sure they don’t open up a gap
Thanx very much for the very good instructional video. I was at COSTCO today and this a.c. is on sale for $289. Limit of 2 per purchase. Go get it fast.
Only sold at Costco. it was made just for them, much cheaper than the U shaped but mostly same internals. Now on sale at 280 delivered - sales started 8/9
I have! I used it all winter in my office, worked great to take the chill out in the mornings. But we live in south Louisiana, so we only dropped below freezing a few days a year and have relatively mild winters. There were a few times where it said it couldn’t run bc it was too cold lol
Has anyone explained it can explain how or where the water is suppose to drip out from the back of the unit... Is it a plug or one of the rubber pieces underneath that we remove or something? Thanks in advance!
Hi, yes I had responded to another commenter. It drains close to the window, on the right side. No plugs need to be removed. It took a couple days to start draining but now it drains normally. I was confused for the first couple of days because I never saw it drain and I tried removing some rubber grommets but reinserted them. How long have you ran your unit? Give it a few days
Thanks for sharing!!!! What do you think the wattage is during the winter months for the heater. Is the heat from a heat pump or from a electical heating wire element?
Oh man.. no idea about winter heating. We live in Louisiana so we have super mild winters, i probably won’t even use it during winter. Also we haven’t lived with it during winter, so sorry I can’t be more helpful here
Hi... I also live in Louisiana and we do use heat occasionally.... I just bought a media 12k fancy u shaped, but it doesn't have a heat option.... 2 questions. Is yours as quiet as mine and do you wants swap??
😂😂 Ours is not as quiet as yours (we also bought the 12k u shaped for my mother in law last year) but no, don’t want to swap lol. I don’t mind the sound level on our ‘traditional’ style. And the heat option definitely comes I handy where we have ours installed (cool room in winter)
@@fiveohmxco Ha!... I hear ya.... To tell the truth, I didn't know that option was a valuable on any madia unit. Are you happy with the power consumption when in heat mode? How much louder is yours compared to the M in L.... Bottom line for me is,.. I need heat and cool with Wi-Fi control ability. And need it to be quiet.... Too much to ask???
@thefleaflop I really don’t notice the noise much. I have it like 3’ away from my chair in my home office where I sit every workday. I take calls thru my laptop everyday and it’s running allll day during the summer, so noise really hasn’t been an issue. I honestly don’t know the energy consumption for heat - I mostly got this to help take a load off our central ac over the summertime, so the heat option was an added bonus I wasn’t even planning on using. But I def used it! I will say that there were a couple weeks where it wouldn’t run bc it was too cold outside. It gives an error under a certain outdoor temp, not sure what that value is. Prob like 35ish F
Cheaper! Also this one has the heat function. I don’t think they’ve released a u-shaped w the heat pump. Although the heater seems to only work above about 40F outdoor temp. Wont run when it’s colder
Oh and also this one is fully supported by the window, whereas the u-shaped requires the use of an external support. But I agree the u-shaped are appealing. Will prob get an 8k BTU one for our bedroom if they go on sale cheap enough ($240ish)
@@fiveohmxco Yeah i guess the heat to me doesn't mean much but the price difference for a normal AC sans heat U shaped is 450$ for a 12000btu and for this one is 299. Kinda crazy. Wondering if they are more efficient....
@TristanPope i think they both use the inverter nowadays. I bet you could check the yellow energy efficiency sticker thing to see if the cost per year or whatever differ. I would imagine efficiency is pretty similar
@@fiveohmxco Yeah it's kinda crazy, wonder if the reason they sell for so much less though is an upgrade or a gimmick. Hard to tell when they have 700 versions of the same damn thing haha.
How far does it stick out of the wall externally, basically from the top rail to the back of the unit? I have a walkway right outside of the window. It would be ok if it does not get into the way too much. Thanks!
Hi, Can you show where this is supposed to drain from and how you can run a drain line from it? I have this unit and mine drips from multiple places, all outside but I’m on a second story and I need to contain the water flow. I contacted the company and they were no help. Thanks for your video of the install!
Mine only drips from that one spot, if you’re looking at it from the outside, it was on the right side about halfway back. I’m trying to think of a good way to send you a picture… if you’d like to post your email here I can send you one when I get home
I used a lid from a plastic container that was a little wider than the unit itself. I drilled a hole on both sides and used wire to attach it. I fed it through right beside the unit where the accordion panel attaches and hooked to finishing nails. I drilled a couple of holes in the downslope side edge of the lid. Crude but functional. The water runs down the slope and is directed away from my window sill.
I honestly can’t tell! I’m assuming it’s just recirculating since the filter is on the air suction and the suction is inside. There doesn’t appear to be any option for fresh air on the remote or the unit
It shows the weight is 58 pounds on the product website. I was able to install it by myself without any issues (33 healthy male). I had easy access both inside and outside the window, so that was helpful. My wife did help to lower the window down onto the unit when lifted it into place though, so an extra set of hands is helpful for that one step.
Thank you for making such a thorough install video! What are your thoughts on this unit, almost two years after purchase? Have you used it in heat mode?
Thanks for the comment! Yep, I use it a good bit over wintertime. But keep in mind I’m in south Louisiana, so it’s really to keep the room warm when it’s like 30-50f outside
@@fiveohmxco: Understood! I'm in the northeast but looking for something to use during fall/spring (not winter). Given your experience with the unit, would you recommend it if someone found units around the price point you did?
@@fiveohmxco: Awesome-thank you for letting me know! It looks like this unit might've been discontinued but they can still occasionally be found online. I just might scoop one up as there really doesn't seem to be anything else like it on the market.
Correct, u shaped only for up and down window. I’d window slides sideways, they make special ac units for that. Or if you use a normal one, you’d have to find something to fit in the gap above the unit. Some people use plexiglass, but could use wood too.
@@fiveohmxcowe installed this on a slider window, filled the gap above with a wood framed piece of plexiglass. Just make sure sliding window opens wide enough to fit the unit.
Just bought this unit after a few days of use noticed water doesn’t drain that great from drain plug causing it to shut down if not drained manually other than that great ac
O wow that’s unfortunate. I remembered mine didn’t really drain much the first few days, I was kinda worried. But after the first week now it drips as expected. Does yours lean down out the window a little?
Hey sorry I thought I had responded to this! My only thought is perhaps build a wall out of plywood to fit inside the window first, and then cut a hole in the plywood to fit the window unit
Hello, Thanks for the Video. Question why does it not drip, I see a lot of condensation/ water billed up and it making noise outside getting caught blowing in the back fan.
Only thing I can thing of is to build a wooden rectangle out of plywood to fill the window and then cut a hole in that for the AC unit. No experience there though, sorry
We just got two of these from costco but I’m noticing that it puddles with water in the back and it doesnt drip out like other window AC’s ive had in the past. Does yours do this too? Am I missing a step and forgot to release a plug somewhere on the bottom of the AC?
First thing I would do is make sure it’s tilting backwards, should tilt down towards outside. Second, it took a few days for ours to start dripping. I was worried too bc it wouldn’t drip. Now it drips regularly from a hole near the window. If you’re looking at it from outside, it’s on the right side a few inches away from the window. I didn’t have to pull any plugs. I actually pulled one black rubber grommet but put it back in after I realized it wasn’t a plug lol.
I checked to make sure its tilted and it is. I did notice it was dripping in two spots, one by the windowsill and on the back of the Ac. Not sure if its draining effectively so I might put like a piece cloth there so it will drip the water out into a bucket since it seems to be collecting more there than dripping out under the windowsill spot. Thank you so much for your help!!
I have seen new window heatpump/AC units use condensate water splashing as a means to increase efficiency. Some water should remain in the pan to be splashed up by the cooling fan onto the condensing coil to cool it down (thus increasing efficiency). Whether this model is suppose to do that...might be best to refer to manual or contact Midea directly.
Thanks for the super helpful video! Any chance you know the length of the power cord on this model? Would be super helpful for planning an upcoming move.
I just measured - the unit itself is about 19-1/4”. You’d prob have to add about 2-1/2” on each side to fit the panels on each side if they’re squished up all the way, so like 24-1/4” total would be the minimum. I guess if you wanted to use it without the accordion panel on either side you could squeeze it into 19-1/4”
If you look on the Costco website it says minimum window opening is 24”. That would be measuring the thinnest width with the window open. That must be with the accordion panels installed and squished in all the way on either side.
Not sure what the decibel value is, but it’s right next to my desk (I work from home) and I hold web meetings daily both with and without headphones without any issues
Do you think I can install that on my second floor apartment window ? Or you have to be able to do the outside part ? And what if it rains on the outside part ?
The outside part is designed to be rained on, but I would personally be a little afraid to install on a second floor window without having outside access - I think it’d be tough to maneuver a unit this big from the inside only. I think it’d be possible, would just have to be very careful and work slowly
I just installed it on the 1stbl floor but there is a bush that I can't get in-between. once the window comes down on it, as long as the bottom is secured in the channel, it shouldn't move at all
Nicely done, someone was asking me to pay them $500 to install it, and Seems like I will just save that now, however, Mine will sit about 4.5 Ft from the ground on a Garage Window, so lets see how that goes.....
Yes! It has side to side and up and down adjustment. Also has a cool feature where the up and down will oscillate. Not sure what the point of it is but it’s a button you can press to do that
It is almost certainly the exact same thing with the addition of a refrigerant flow-reversing valve for the heat mode, which is probably why it does not have the U-channel in it (space taken by those components).
@@Vigo327 Great guess, unit is made just for Costco -- to offer high value and leave out stuff that is not required, to offer a great price. Now on sale for 280 again
@@WorldwideBeagle Thanks, I already have a U-shaped unit and will probably actually replace it with one of these for the heat function and move the U one somewhere else.
I’m not sure how to describe it. I’ve also heard the u-shaped is supposed to me much quieter. They’re both ‘inverter’ style so even this one is supposed to be quieter than a traditional window unit. I have it Installed next to my desk in my home office and haven’t had any issues with conference calls on speakerphone
@@vrowhani the u-shaped one should still be quieter based on the design. I personally have not heard it, but having the entire business end of the air conditioner outside of the window versus housed in all one unit, should make the noise level lower by using the window as a barricade between you and the outside noise.
So far so good! It’s only been about 10 days but it’s doing great keeping that room cool and taking a load off our central AC. I think only thing i’d do different is maybe buy some more insulation strips and try to add more around the unit. Will probably do that in the future to help insulate all the gaps
I have a hole in the wall in my apartment with an air conditioner there. I'd like to replace it. Will this model work in a hole like that or is it for windows only?
This is very dependent on the dimensions of the hole. This will work in a wall or window opening, but you’ll have to measure to see if it would be a good fit for your existing hole
Hope it works out well. I have the u shaped version andit only cools when it gets very hot out. Anything under 80 it goes into low power mode and you can't up it.
! Wow. Ours has been running great for about a week now. Basically runs all day and has been helping keep our sun room cooler and also takes a load off our central AC

So glad to hear it was helpful!! Thanks for the comment 🙏
Thank you!
@@fiveohmxco There is a little device called a kill-o-watt.
Thanks a bunch for the feedback! Hope it turns out as well for you as it did for us 👍
So, is your AC still working?
@@billking772 💯💯💯 Thats awesome. I’m always surprised/impressed by good customer service
I cant find this model in Canada, any Canadians here?
I cant even find it in the US anymore :/ It may have been a Costco-specific model that has been updated
Wish I knew about this before I got the POS "U-Shaped" one. Hopefully they fixed the bugs in this version.
Thank you 👍🏼
Great video.
Thanks! So true width of this is 19-3/16”. That’s like the hard metal sides of the ac unit
58 pounds! Soo, that doesn't need a support bracket?
Hi, nope! Most of the weight is in the vertical direction, so the bottom of the window frame supports the weight well. There’s not a lot a of pull on the sliding window
Good video. I just bought one for my office. Love how it is so quiet
Si enfría?
@@EduardoHernandez-sg2jq yes is cold

😳😳😳 hope mine lasts 😩
I heard there was an update for this unit for it to work in colder temperatures is that correct? What the lowest temperature that has work for you without shutting off?
Hi, I am unaware of an update. Do you mean a software update, or like a new model released? I think it works down to about 40F, but not entirely sure
@@fiveohmxco yes software update, I was hoping it’s true, that’s why I was looking into getting one. Ok thanks.
Question, how much inches does the face of the unit protrudes out? I have a gate that swings open and close so i’d like to account for that space and still be able to close my gate when the ac is installed.
Just measured and it’s just under 8” from the front of the window glass. I would use 8” as your clearance
@@fiveohmxco thank you soo much. 7” is actually my max. You saved me from ordering and not being able to close my gate shut.
@Legendz167 ah bummer. But yea def better to find out this way!!
Just bought one of these, slightly different model but still installed just as you did yours. Helpful video ty.
Can't find this exact model anywhere now.
I was worried that would happen..make a video and they discontinue it. I wonder if that’s why I got it on sale
@@fiveohmxco the new U shaped ones don't have the heat feature. I like the one you have. And dang it was cheap, only a couple of months ago.

Has anyone used it in cold weather yet? Mine should arrive soon.
Which do you recommend, this unit or the comparable LG Inverter 12,000 btu LW1222IVSM?
I have no experience with the LG unit, sorry. I’ve been using my Midea everyday this summer though from 8a-8p without issues
@@fiveohmxco Ok thanks!
Also we haven’t lived with it during winter, so sorry I can’t be more helpful here
❤ thanks for your tutorial. It really helped me a lot.
Happy to hear!
I must say... Have never heard of a heater unable to run because of the temp being too low.... That is a new one on me....
@thefleaflop yea I think they call it a heat pump or/and inverter? Think it just uses what it has to make heat, doesn’t have a dedicated heater coil
Why this over the U shape?
Thanks!
Hey, I just measured and it’s 14” from the back of the top rail to the back of the unit
@@fiveohmxco thank you very much! It's shorter than I expected. It should work for me. Thanks again.
Hi,
Can you show where this is supposed to drain from and how you can run a drain line from it?
Does it have an option for fresh air or the air is recirculated?
I honestly can’t tell! I’m assuming it’s just recirculating since the filter is on the air suction and the suction is inside. There doesn’t appear to be any option for fresh air on the remote or the unit
How much is the unit weight? Wonder if one person can install it?
Below 30 and it won’t run bc too cold outside
@@fiveohmxco: Understood! I'm in the northeast but looking for something to use during fall/spring (not winter). Given your experience with the unit, would you recommend it if someone found units around the price point you did?
@@DanDuett yes 100%. I use it daily in the summer time and sporadically in the winter. It’s been great for about 2 years now
@@fiveohmxco: Awesome-thank you for letting me know! It looks like this unit might've been discontinued but they can still occasionally be found online. I just might scoop one up as there really doesn't seem to be anything else like it on the market.
If i purchased the U-Shape fancy one.. can it only be installed on a window that opened up and down? What if the window opened side to side instead?
Any suggestions for installation for side slide windows
Hey sorry I thought I had responded to this! My only thought is perhaps build a wall out of plywood to fit inside the window first, and then cut a hole in the plywood to fit the window unit
Hello, Thanks for the Video. Question why does it not drip, I see a lot of condensation/ water billed up and it making noise outside getting caught blowing in the back fan.
Hi, did you make sure it is angled downward outside the window? It should be leaning towards the ground outside to drain properly
@@fiveohmxco VIP make sure it tilts down!!!! The manual is not clear.
Any suggestions for installation for side slide windows
Only thing I can thing of is to build a wooden rectangle out of plywood to fill the window and then cut a hole in that for the AC unit. No experience there though, sorry
Great guide, thank you!
I don’t and I’m out of town for the next couple days for work, but I can check when I get home! I think it was about 2 or 3’ tho
Hey just measured and it’s about 4’8” from the right side of the unit (looking from the inside). Longer than I expected!
@@fiveohmxco Thank you! That was very nice of you to check!
Great review! May I ask what's the width of this unit? I am confused about the depth and width on the box...
Really appreciate it! I just bought one this morning!
Do you have to take it off for the winter?
It has a heat setting so I believe it is designed to use during the winter season
Is this unit loud?
Not sure what the decibel value is, but it’s right next to my desk (I work from home) and I hold web meetings daily both with and without headphones without any issues
Wow it actually has a drain hole! Not many units use those anymore.
Yep! Took a couple days to start draining but now it has a good steady drip
@@fiveohmxco nice
MAKE sure you tilt the tilt the unit DOWN to the outside - about 1/4 to 1/2 bubble in carpentry terms
I just installed it on the 1stbl floor but there is a bush that I can't get in-between. once the window comes down on it, as long as the bottom is secured in the channel, it shouldn't move at all
I would suggest buying mounting bracket on Amazon if you were to install on second floor. Then you can do it from the inside the room.
Nicely done, someone was asking me to pay them $500 to install it, and Seems like I will just save that now, however, Mine will sit about 4.5 Ft from the ground on a Garage Window, so lets see how that goes.....
You got this!!
Can you adjust the direction of airflow to a specific side of the room?
Yes! It has side to side and up and down adjustment. Also has a cool feature where the up and down will oscillate. Not sure what the point of it is but it’s a button you can press to do that
@@fiveohmxco I imagine the oscillate features to eliminate hotspots in larger rooms?
@@elliotbaltazar makes sense!

How loud is this unit. I noticed a lot of videos about how quiet the u shaped version of this unit is.
@@fiveohmxco thank you, that's helpful.
@@vrowhani the u-shaped one should still be quieter based on the design. I personally have not heard it, but having the entire business end of the air conditioner outside of the window versus housed in all one unit, should make the noise level lower by using the window as a barricade between you and the outside noise.
@@elliotbaltazar thank you !
Great video!!! How do you like the unit so far and is there anything that you would do different with the install since you did it??
So far so good! It’s only been about 10 days but it’s doing great keeping that room cool and taking a load off our central AC. I think only thing i’d do different is maybe buy some more insulation strips and try to add more around the unit. Will probably do that in the future to help insulate all the gaps
@@fiveohmxco thank you!! just opened mine up and crazy damage fan hitting metal and display doesn't work.
Oh no!! Hate to hear that, def get a replacement, hope the new one shows up better
So helpful, made installing less of a mystery. Thank you
Glad to hear it was helpful!
Hope it works out well. I have the u shaped version andit only cools when it gets very hot out. Anything under 80 it goes into low power mode and you can't up it.
