I agree the views are way better than in El Dorado Hills because - fun fact you can see El Dorado Hills and the Sacramento Valley from Outlook Estates and the Ridgeline area near China Bar and Skyridge or from Indian Hill and Auburn-Folsom Road.

It's just some spirited revelry - harmless, really. Now, once you venture beyond the downtown hubbub, the crime rate takes a delightful nosedive, making Auburn a true sanctuary. As for the homeless population, well, they're not exclusive to Auburn and if your comparing it to other city's then give Auburn a gold medal. My family and I are in Auburn all the time and i hardly every see any homeless.
