Let the bobbers hit the floor, let the bobbers hit the floor
I’ve been trying
totally agree on 1 vs 2 beads So many less tangles and so much faster to set up.
For sure! Good to hear from you, looks like you're doing well.
Good stuff, Fray. Beautiful river and winter scene there.
thanks!
Manistee river never let's us down
Awesome float wallet!! I met the creator of that wallet, Brian Derringer, on a river in Ohio spring 2021. We talked for a while about how great the fishing was, and he hooked me and my lady up with a free wallet! We love it!
Oh, and great video as always! Keep it up Fray 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing the information and taking time out to post the video. Good luck in classes see ya on the water
Good to see the homie Keagan in a video! Great dude
Great job Fray keep at the school work and see ya on the river in the spring !!!
Ive definitely moved towards running more single beads, I find the hookup and landing ratio is better, not to mention less tangles and less time re-tieing. I also feel you get a better presentation with 1 instead of 2.
I agree!
Very good video Fray
Good videos im fixing to heading the Patagonian next week for thout fishing i will try it this set up and see what going on still to hot down here in Argentina but it will cool off soon .
Together with the red stag rutting seoson kicking of next week .
Will see im ready i say hello to all my frends from MI
WOW! Awesome video with great scenery and some nice wild Steelhead. It must be a great stress relief to get out and do some fishing. Good luck with collage and get out in the great outdoors as much as you can. I used to live in Mecosta County Michigan on Jehnsen Lake and hunted and fished the area as muck as possible. I eventually had to move to Lansing Michigan due to work responsibilities.
I loved my time in mecosta county as well! thanks
Awesome vid Fray!
Heck yeah frey, i got two skippers so far last week
Great video as always
Awesome video dude! Love it!
Always look foreword to the videos !
been a while ✌ Awesome video as usual 👍🎣
Hell man! Good shit.
Glad you got out. Looks like such a fun trip on the river! The underwater release footage is amazing! I'm not sure how you feel about soft beads, but if you ever want to try some out, check me out.
Your the man frey!!!
hell yeah brother love to see it, finally got 3 on my own Wednesday in the snow! Awesome vid
Congrats man, you'll never forget that day!
@@FishFray Forsure bro almost 2 years of grinding, the PM curse has been broken. Humbled to say the least
With the spotty ice we have been having in mid Michigan and with the slow bite on the ice up north... I've been wanting to do some steelhead but I don't have the best gear for it. Might just give it a whack anyway
Same thing I’m doing this weekend
Great video. You really need to come back to the other side of the lake for some steelhead and monster browns in WI. I could show you some good spots.
Maybe next fall!
You were fishing one of my favorite spots. I’m surprised I didn’t see you out there. I’m usually out there every day during the week. I have been fishing a bit further up river lately though.
Who do you get your jigs from?
@@kevinkaiser9714 I use jammin jigs and other brands, pretty much whatever I find at the tackle shop. Most places in west michigan seem to carry them
The left arm curls would help. Do you even lift bro?
Nice job friend stay connected 👍👍
I would love to live by a river this good I've fished my river so many times for steelhead it's probably the worste steelhead river
Nice
so new to steelhead big warm up coming will that make them move more taking up around tippy thanks
hey Fray, what size of arctic spinners do you use and do u use treble hooks or single?
Try spikes instead of wax worms.
On the close ups of your float when the float tips back toward you is that from you feathering or trotting your float?
Yes, thats right
Where is this. It looks like the tri rivers down by Tillamook Oregon
What kind of camera equipment are you using to film your videos?
Hi Fray, I’m looking into using a baitcaster similarly to you, would something similar to an Abu Garcia 5500 c3 be too large for a reel of this setup and style of float fishing?
I know some guys do use that style of reel with a rod like this. However I have no experience with those reels so I don't have too much insight to offer
Im just kiddin yuo are godd at fishin
I seen what u did there
That’s the problem using tandem you hook them in the mouth and the other hook end up hooking them somewhere else
And you pull them in like a snagged fish
Where’s the fight in that?
That’s why I don’t like using tandem especially in a small creek
I’m bigger waters I’ll go tandem till I find a pod and go single
Do you fish stone flies/nymphs anymore?
Hey man. What brand center pin reel do you prefer?
I use colville reels
Do you run the original skein cane or the HD skein cane?
In the video, the original
Check out my latest steelhead video!🎣
How do you like the bloodrun 10lbs
Im a fan
What river is this?
Do you still attend ferris Fray?
I graduated and have moved on to grad school
Bro, tossing that spawn bag into the river 👎. I do love your vids though
I throw them at my feet while working a spot and them toss them all in a pocket when I move on. It did look like that netting was bound for the river but it was just the angle. Thanks for watching!
I was going to say a lot of fishermen don’t know that they’re nylon and that it doesn’t decompose thanks for cleaning them up
WOW! Ive never known steelhead to be that naive! Sure you were'nt fishing in a hatchery habitat?
yesss anew fray videooo im first comment
Upload lol
