My Sportster has 400,000 miles on the original engine and I have had it 25 years. My BSA 250 C-15 starts first kick. I have had my 1965 TR -6 for 40 years with a hard tail and magneto.

I know the fix for the Suzuki gsx250r-- I had the same thing to the same bike.. It's the battery -- you have to buy a new battery and if you do not believe me there is a connector under the front right of the light assembly that is inside of a rubber boot - might not be - and its connected by 2 wires -- need to trip the pins and you will get a readout on your display. My error came from the alternator not being able to keep the battery charged enough to maintain the voltage demand. Error F1 - get a battery - problem solved.

I got the same error on the same F1 must When I tried to make the connection so that it would indicate the failure, I made the mistake of making the connection incorrectly so that it would indicate it on the screen. Now only the word check appears and the motorcycle does not turn on. What should I do? Help?

I once had the same error code. Turned out to be a faulty switch in the clutch lever...
