I hope someone covers the Tab S9+ model. Ultra looks fantastic, but it might be too big and wide for my taste. The Plus model looks to be more of the sweet spot for a few~
Exactly what I thought last year. This year I'm trading in my almost new Tab S8+ to buy the S9 Ultra. The funny thing is I get more from the trade-in than what I paid for the S8+.
I'm sold to preorder the 11-inch one. I wanted the smaller 8-inch like ipad mini, but I can't wait forever for Samsung to release one. The upgrade of tab S9 11-inch is significant enough for me to just embrace the 11 inch (dynamic amoled, fp on display, ip68, snapdragon 8 gen 2, longer OS support). I can finally graduate from my current tab A 8.0 with S pen (been waiting forever for Samsung to release 8-inch tab S series but oh well, Samsung doesn't want the flagship in the mini market)
The Tab S9 Ultra raises and sets the bar for tablets in every way ❤. Its over incredibly capable for my creative work and super sleek too, just a gorgeous slate to use all round. The Spen completes the experience of using a Galaxy Tab for me.

Can't wait to get this tablet, I've been amazed with the performance with my S23 Ultra. Considering this has the same chip, and more ram (1TB Model). The screen is amazing, on the 23 so I can't believe what it will be like on the Tablet! Thankyou, and keep the content up!
I've always been curious. Android users seem so hell bent on specs, but I hardly find any youtube videos of people doing "pro" things. Why are their no videos of audio work or video work like the iPads show?

I bought the Samsung Tab S8 plus last year and I absolutely loved it. Wish I could upgrade tablets. The sad part is that cellular companies don't offer the Tab S9 ultra for service. It's looking like their not going to with the Tab S9 ultra this year either. (Only the S9 & S9 plus)

i wonder if the ultra would be not so practical to use and carry around due to the gigantic size. I was going for the bigger tablet, then i saw in the store a small one really nice, portable. It changed my way of seeying small tablet. I think the S9+ has a good proportion of size

@@Alexander0189 there is no way in hell the s8 ultra would ever "feel choppy" either you are straining it too much and use it 24/7 or you are using the tablet wrong

All I simply meant was the animations at times weren't smooth, sometimes going back to the home screen or opening an app. I never do too much on it at once. Doing some lightroom editing, watching youtube, usual suspects. Very rarely doing more than one thing at once too. Just saying my experience mate 👍 doesn't have to be the same as yours

Aesthetically speaking, it's practically identical to the S8 series. Other than a higher spec CPU, it's pretty much the same as the S8 series. Even so, I'd imagine it's an excellent tablet, like S8 series are. My hopes is that they improved the battery life on the S9 Ultra, as I'm not too impressed with the S8 Ultras battery life.

Why would they put the pen magnet on the back of the tablet. That seems like very poor thinking. What if you want to put it down and charge your pencil while using it?
Samsung is being cheap this year. last year we got free keyboard case for s8 ultra plus $100 credit, but now we only have $50 credit? Not to mention the $650 trade in value for Tab s8 ultra. You spend over $1000 for s8 ultra and they only going to trade for $650?? Why would people with s8 ultra pay like extra $500 for a minimal upgrade?
You guys really really really need to demo the Amazon, Netflix and Disney apps when unboxing tablets to see if they support greater than 1080p video. To me that's the biggest bummer about owning the Tab S8+ the lack of HDR video in 4K. The 1080p is not good enough for a screen of this calibre.
I am always bothered by that in display fingerprint scanner. I still prefer the fingerprint scanner that they placed on the power button of the Samsung Tab S8 5g. Very convenient and you won't have to worry about tempered glass messing up the in display fingerprint scanner. If i would be asked their Iris Scanner which they previously implemented was the best scanner they have done. You can open the phone even when the environment is dim.
Samsung is already big, why not take it to the next step? I mean, create your own operating system outside of Android and be more optimized and match the competition 🤔🤔
There's a videos where one tried their S8 ultra keyboard. The Tab S9 Ultra said "it is not compatible keyboard for this device" when attached to the Tab S9 Ultra.
My husband almost bought the 1TB Tab S9 Ultra but the 512GB S8 Ultra went on sale for $1050 and Samsung's backlit keyboard case was $180 and he got a 1TB memory card for $90, which all together was a better deal than the Tab S9 Ultra pre-order.
Samsung galaxy tab s8 is a flawed model with worst cpu inside along with one of the worst Thermal management heat sink in it,that is why they have downgraded their processor performance in the recent update to decrease cpu thermal throttle in their flawed hardware ultra thin model called tab s8 ultra, Hence they redesigned their heat sink in new tab s9 ultra to get max performance from new SD gen 2 chip/

I very much like that the Samsung Tab has the selfie camera mounted in landscape mode for video calls, a bigger screen for content consumption, Dolby Atmos for content consumption and the AMOLD screen for picture quality. There are other features the Galaxy Tab offers that my iPads unfortunately don’t offer. I’m not getting rid of my iPads but I do want to add the Galaxy Tab to my collection of tech.
@@BassedInVegas you’ve got the 12.9inch iPad Pro, that means you have the MiniLED display which is just as good as the Samsungs SuperAmoled display. Secondly the Audio on iPad pros is much better than any tablets and it’s almost as good as the MacBook audio meaning it has the best audio systems. I’m not an Apple guy, but undeniably iPad is much better than Samsungs Tab and any other tablets.

Very serious query, how do people use this thing? I mean its massive, too big to be used comfortably. Anything larger than a 11-12" screen it seems to me is too big to use. (Not a complaint, I'm sure the tab s9 would be much smaller than this)
I like it that they placed the 'menu', 'home', & 'back' icons on the bottom right corner of the screen when it is in landscape mode. That makes sense.👍🏻
I'm just curious as to who is this tablet targeting? Most people will have a laptop for heavy work, I'm actually working on my 14inch laptop using 3D software. And if you don't have a laptop, why would you spend over £1,000 on a tablet when you can get a powerful laptop? Tab S9 maybe, the ultra just seems pointless
IMHO, the S9 Ultra STILL begs for an actual magnetic SLOT for the S-PEN! I have come ridiculously close to losing this spendy little accessory since I took delivery. I finally opted for a carrying case that has a lttle "tunnel" for the S-PEN where it can charge, and another elastic holder for when you want it handier. I also opted to install a cheap SUPERSHIELDS screen protector to keep everything like new for when i trade in next year😏
It depends on your usage. Galaxy tab has better file management and multitasking. iPad has a handful exclusive apps. Professional apps on both: ● Illustration and graphic design: ClipStudio, Krita, Concepts, Canva ● Video editing: LumaFusion, Kinemaster ● Photo editing: Pixlr, Snapseed ● Architecure: BiMx ● 3D modelling: AutoCAD *iPad exclusives: Full photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro

Just came here because of the Thumbnail, I noticed that the Image that is on the Thumbnail is of a Islet that is just beside one of the neighboring islands of an Archipelago in the middle of the atlantic that I live on, The archipelago is called Azores, while a beautiful Islet. I didn't expect it as a Wallpaper on this tablet, we're such an Unknown little archipelago. Apart from sailors, which stop here on their way across the atlantic.
IP68 is short hand for Ingress Protection Six Eight. The first numeral is for dust and second numeral is for water. Neither scale goes into double digits. It really should be considered intentional misleading of consumers/viewers to call them off together as sixty eight. It would imply that something that has a IP53 would be better in water than something with an IP37 which isn't the case. It leads to most people not understanding what the numbers really mean because the scale sounds much bigger than it really is instead of single digit scales. Even saying it as a double digit is more work because have to say the extra syllable. Long and short, to trust what you say, you have to be saying the right things

Artists, and people that just want to watch content on a bigger and slim device. this is even small compared to some pen display tablets out there.

im an artist and i use this table on my daily basis
it is a matter of getting used to it. I have a lapdesk(with memory foam) that I used with my s8 ultra and it does not feel heavy to me.
I have s8 ultra, It’s a monster Entertainment machine. 2nd monitor, Games, emulators, movies, anime, manga. Ability to install 3rd party apps.

I like it that they placed the 'menu', 'home', & 'back' icons on the bottom right corner of the screen when it is in landscape mode. That makes sense.👍🏻
I'm just curious as to who is this tablet targeting? Most people will have a laptop for heavy work, I'm actually working on my 14inch laptop using 3D software. And if you don't have a laptop, why would you spend over £1,000 on a tablet when you can get a powerful laptop? Tab S9 maybe, the ultra just seems pointless

IMHO, the S9 Ultra STILL begs for an actual magnetic SLOT for the S-PEN! I have come ridiculously close to losing this spendy little accessory since I took delivery. I finally opted for a carrying case that has a lttle "tunnel" for the S-PEN where it can charge, and another elastic holder for when you want it handier. I also opted to install a cheap SUPERSHIELDS screen protector to keep everything like new for when i trade in next year😏
I have the tab s9 ultra pre ordered but waiting for launch is hard. Should I just stick with the tab s9 ultra or just get a tab s8 ultra?

It depends on your usage. Galaxy tab has better file management and multitasking. iPad has a handful exclusive apps.
Professional apps on both:

● Photo editing: Pixlr, Snapseed
● Architecure: BiMx
● 3D modelling: AutoCAD

Just came here because of the Thumbnail, I noticed that the Image that is on the Thumbnail is of a Islet that is just beside one of the neighboring islands of an Archipelago in the middle of the atlantic that I live on, The archipelago is called Azores, while a beautiful Islet. I didn't expect it as a Wallpaper on this tablet, we're such an Unknown little archipelago. Apart from sailors, which stop here on their way across the atlantic.

This time samsung went one step ahead with apple by not including charger, apple does include a charger with ipad pro.
They do include a 25W charger in some countries if you preorder though I agree it should come with one in the box.
I wonder if Tab S9 supports HDR. Can I watch HDR videos with it?

IP68 is short hand for Ingress Protection Six Eight. The first numeral is for dust and second numeral is for water. Neither scale goes into double digits. It really should be considered intentional misleading of consumers/viewers to call them off together as sixty eight. It would imply that something that has a IP53 would be better in water than something with an IP37 which isn't the case.
It leads to most people not understanding what the numbers really mean because the scale sounds much bigger than it really is instead of single digit scales.
Even saying it as a double digit is more work because have to say the extra syllable.
Long and short, to trust what you say, you have to be saying the right things
