I ordered this tab s9 ultra. Really good for multitasking. Since in next video you are trying various case covers, can you also try s8 ultra cover in s9 ultra and compatibility of keyboard cover of S8 ultra with s9 ultra l

Tab S9 Ultra has 930 nits , Tab S8 Ultra has 500 nits there should be a noticeable difference even in the sun did you have the extend brightness setting on a warning pops up saying may use more battery outside.
Sir ms excel and powerpoint work in the same capacity in tab s8 or s9 as compared to ms pffice in windows pc????do the shortcuts and keys from added bluetooth keyboard act the same in both android vs windows... as I am planning to buy a tab.. my main objective is Reading writing and ms office plus some multimedia.. moderate usage
@@shivammishra5057 Shivam, earlier I also have the same doubt, but Ms office on tab will not be same as it is on laptop, try using the office (ppt / Excel, etc) on your mobile, same will be on tab. But all together it's a great device to have.
The S8 Ultra already was a class of it's own. This S9 Ultra puts the bar even higher. Best Tablet on the market.

Just buy it. It's ridiculously good. There's almost nothing you can't do on it
When the S8 Ultra gets more cheap you just can buy that. If you don't need IP68 or the 8 Gen 2.

It is too big and has a notch. Regular Tab S9 is better choice this year- has AMOLED and basically same specs but is 11 inches, no notch and $400 cheaper.

@@jackwilson5542It all depends on your needs. As an artist I more than welcome the big screen and also the massive storage and ram option.
In Australia the Tab S8 Ultra was selling for the same amount as Tab S9 Ultra, and they gave the keyboard cover for free with the S9 Ultra so I got it haha
So basically if you get the 1TB version of this tablet and throw in a 1tb microSD card, you've got a tablet with all the storage you'd ever need!! Sweet!!

Good video. My regular Tab S9 and Watch 6 Classic got delivered yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Samsung makes some amazing stuff.

I went with the s9+ to replace my tab s6. Thought about the ultra but just too big for what I use a tablet for. Really nice upgrade from my s6.

to get vision booster you have to set the brightness to automatic and then it shows up. I can definitely notice it on my S22+ in direct sunlight
I have the adaptive brightness turned on for the testing I did
@@ShaneSymondsaccording to samsung: to switch on the brightness booster you need to go to 'advanced settings' and switch here the brightness for the relevant app to 'bright' under 'video brightness'
Yeah, I've also seen the use of it in my S22. You can also open it manually.

Yes I am very interested in the other ones too since the S9 could be one of the best compact tablets out there given its beefed up specs and S9+ will be most popular so interested to see how good the battery is. I'll have content on them once mine come in, Samsung only sent out the S9 Ultra review unit

Just preordered mine. I have 2 artist friends who borh own have an tabS8+ and they love it. I've been looking for a good option outside of apple since i have a note 20 ultra as my phone. Glad i finally get trade in my Ipad after 3 years.
The Ultra is not too big as hyped. I absolutely love it.
I disagree, but I think it depends on your usage. I've already used my 9+ more than I used my 8 Ultra and I bought both on pre-sale. If you're planning on using your tablet as a "laptop" for productivity, it's a perfect size, but I find the Ultras way too big for daily tablet use. That's just my opinion though, what do I know 🤷🏼♂️

I have the 8 ultra and I went down to the 9 plus. The size started to annoy me. Feels more like laptop size than tablet. Very excited for the 11th!
I have tap s8 ultra It is very beautiful in movies, studies and drawing, but only in games. Not everyone will like it, but I love it because I am used to it
Same thing for me. I've used my S9+ more, already, than I ever used my S8 Ultra. Both are great, but I found the Ultra too big and too heavy for daily tablet use. It's perfect for my wife though, because she uses it for productivity.
I noticed that their are very few cases at this time for the s9 on Amazon. When will a wider range of cases be available?

Nice impressions! Btw would you say the audio quality has improved aside from being louder? I personally found the s8 ultra to sound a bit thin and unnatural for vocals. Was hoping for a more natural and realistic playback this time around.
Also, has the display colours improved when compared side by side?
I don't know if the sound is different between the S9+ and Ultra, but the sound on my 9+ is pretty decent. You can literally feel base when holding the tablet. But that's a heavy price to pay for a bit better sound. If you have a 8 Ultra, it isn't worth the upgrade. They're almost identical.
I got an s9+ and the sound is really good! Idk if its different from the s8 tho
@@9._xsh I just tested my 9+ against my 8 ultra. Sound on the 9+ is better, has better depth on bass than the 8 ultra, but it isn't a massive difference. Not worthy of an upgrade for the speakers alone

My only tablet I've ever had was the samsung galaxy tab A when I was in elementary school. I sold it last year for a bit of money, since it was useless to me
Now I need a tablet to draw with without having to be glued to my desk, and any upgrade will be huge to what I'm used to. So, since I don't have that much money (student life things) I'll be buying the S8 ultra second hand. Ngl, I can't wait, even if I'mma need over half a year of waiting to get it.

how tf. for me same configuration costs only about 200 dollars less. Both companies operate under the shitty choices of completely unneccecarily expensive keyboard covers and overpriced scam storage upgrades. Only nice thing about samsung rn is that they have a release sale. But that wont last long.
Both companies scam their users completely and theres not any proper competition between them. They have both just decided to overprice everything for no other reason that to overprice them

2 more cool stuff the s9 ultra does is dex now runs natively on the tablet without connecting a external screen 2 open Samsung notes the take selfie pic drag and drop your pic into Samsung notes and it will remove the background automatically for you.
I got my Tab S9+ two days ago. I went from the Tab S8 Ultra to the plus, and gave my wife my basically brand new S8 because I don't really need it for full on productivity and found it too big for daily tablet use. I only have two complaints with the S9+. One is that the bezel is for some reason way bigger than the ultra (which annoyed me a lot the first day but now I'm pretty used to it). And I don't like the new keyboard case. You can only use it at the angle it provides, and it can't be adjusted like the one for the S8 Ultra. I find the size way better on the 9+ though, much easier to use as a regular tablet, with the power to be used as a laptop. I highly recommend upgrading for anyone with an older tablet. For people with the S8 series, it isn't worth your money to upgrade. Functionally there's almost no difference between the two. And prices have gone WAY up. It would cost more to buy an S8 Ultra now than it did when I pre-ordered it when it came out, and I got a free keyboard case and headphones.

@@victormarian7889 9+ and the 9 don't have a notch. I think the ultra does still though, but I don't think as big as the 8 Ultra (could be wrong though)

Shane, please address in the cover comparison whether the S8 Ultra Book Cover Keyboard works with the S9 Ultra. I might upgrade from the S8 Ultra to the S9 Ultra if I don't have to spend another $350.

Hello Mr. Shane, when I was watching the part where u were swiping the musics I noticed something, when you swipe on the tab s9 ultra, the s8 ultra also swipes on its own without you ever touching the s8 ultra😱😱. Try it if u haven't noticed Mr. Shane. I really love ur videos 😊

Hi there, great video… i really need your intput on this…I curently own an ipad pro 12.9” M1 and love it but some things i really don’t like. Ipad os is still restrictive, watching 4KHDR mkv files are not playing well with the brightness levels. I’ve tried all apps. Brightness for some reason is restricted…. unless you use VLC and tweak it yourself wich is annoying. Also the aspect ratio 4:3 is annoying. Wanting to purchase the s9 ultra, the size difference is not that much and you get a much bigger screen with 16:10 ratio, great for movies. I’m not too sure apple would go that route. Do you know if the ultra brightness is like the ipad pro 12.9” mini led 1000/1600 nits max? Please help me, waiting to pull the trigger on the ultra. Thanks

Absolutely great tablet. I love it. The size is great. I also often use the galaxy view (18 inch tablet). The bigger the better.

I actualy have the S8+ since the last year, for me, the Ultra tablet even if is the S8 Ultra, are not worth it, cause for that range of price you can get a good laptop or a better if is from second hand. So. for me the ultra versions are not the best idea if you want to enhance a productivity, instead a S8+ or S9 regular are for me the best options for content streaming and for Dex. Just and opinion good video lml !
Does anyone know if the S8 and S8 ultra keyboard cases will fit and work on the S9 series?
Unfortunately, no - If you're coming from the S8 Ultra, the Keyboard Book Cover from that model will not completely work with the new S9 Ultra. This is because the camera array is different between the two models, and you can see the difference very clearly starting at about 1:35.
The keyboard itself should work, as far as I can tell there are no meaningful differences. However, the kickstand portion of the Keyboard Book Cover won't work on the new model if you have the old one. It's worth keeping the old keyboard since Samsung doesn't give you anything for it at trade-in, so at least you have a spare if the new one ever breaks.

Brightness boost only comes in when in direct sunlight and when adaptive brightness is on. Brightness when used indoors is sufficient enough even on the Tab S8 series.
I mostly watch media and play some easy games on my iPad Pro 12.4 from 2017. This new ultra with oled and bigger display looks sweet. So expensive though :)
Not a fan of the front camera chin though. Like the new MacBook pros.
I have a z fold 4 which I am using as both phone and Tablet.. But after seeing s9 ultra reviews.. Wondering if it makes sense to trade in my z fold 4 and buy s9 ultra for tablet purpose and Iwe may be a smaller phone like s21 FE along with S9 ultra for phone purpose and use display mirroring to watch content in my phone on s9 ultra scree... Is this a good idea.. Pls suggest
This is exactly what I did. Trade in my fold4 to tab s9+ and flip5. Flip for daily driver and s9+ for entertainment & light work.

I would have loved to see how Android apps react to such a large screen.
A lot of apps do alright, and decent amount are distorted, specifically games. It isn't enough that it's unusable, it just isn't as crisp as a phone, for some. I think Google needs to require that apps are optimized to the biggest screens to be released. Would make a big difference.
