Gruß aus Rhein-Main nach Emmendingen! At 62, I'm currently switching from guitar to drums and feel right at home on your channel. The ideal tutorial for beginners.
Your accent-free English makes things even more pleasant! Thanks for that!
Nice and practicable lesson! 👏👏
Amazing channel, just subbed!✌🏼
Very helpful my friend! Thank you for all your hard work!
Thank you, man. Always a pleasure to hear from you.
@@DailyDrumLesson I'm doing what I can to learn to read and write. I'm starting out with some simple drums and keys for a backtrack to some of my songs. I'm hoping to write drum parts that are interesting, but simple enough that it shouldn't challenge most drummers, then they can fill it out however they like. The problem is, learning to read and write is not easy. I've probably learned as much from analyzing your notations as I have from instructional videos and info pages. So, truly, thanks again, your videos are incredibly helpful. If I wasn't broke, I would definitely be supporting you somehow. XD
Absolutely agree w this paired down list of the essential rudiments every drummer should master - thank you sir!!
Great summary of the Rudiments, thanks
Great lesson.... yes all very valuable 👍
Nothing new for advanced players, but I always click on your videos to check myself. And I will say your drums sound fantastic! Thanks.
I have the same approach, I always go back to the basics. And often I discover a nice nugget of wisdom, like I never saw that jazz groove from that inverted six stroke roll perspective. Inversions and permutations are something I'm only now getting into, very interesting stuff.
Thank you Paul, I really try my best to get the most out of my small room!
Happy New Year MH. I want to thank you for creating exceptionally high quality content, every time.
Happy new year to you as well! Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate that!
That is some Amazing drum sound and of course your excellent drumming skills
Excellent site Thank you
❤❤❤❤
Thanks for this inspiring video Michi! Very interesting!
As a “hobby” drummer I’ve always pondered why the 40 and how many do I really need? I would include the drag as you suggested it’s just so applicable and would have multiple bounce roll as no 8 on such a list just because it’s our only legato sound and it’s way cool.
Thank you for watching.. the multiple bounce roll would have been my number 8 as well!
Yeah, drags aren't to be slept on. I love what grinding them lately did for my ghost notes, fills, and general double stroke/push pull control. I love rudiments *so* much.
Always cool to meet a fellow rudiment enthusiast! ;-)
Have a great weekend!
I wouldn't attempt any of these without a Ludwig Supraphonic.
Haha.. Same here!
