You've got a warm and simple teaching style that makes it easy to follow along. Some cool grooves, explained in a digestible way. Can't wait to try them out!
@@DrummingwithJack I found the one fill with the double with RR pattern the hardest to play at the fastest demonstrated speed! Perhaps, it pointed out an obvious weakness to work on. The others one felt fine for my current skill level at the fastest pace. Is this common to struggle with the faster double speed?
It could suggest that you need to work on double stroke, but could also be what you practice doubles on. If you only practice double stroke on a practice pad you won't get used to doing them on a surface with minimal rebound, like the hi hats. An idea would be to practice them on a pad covered in a little piece of carpet, or something to lessen the rebound, or right there on the hi hats themselves
Love it and thank you. I’m a beginner and all I had for the first 8 months was a snare drum and a hi-hat. The hi-hat is my favorite and makes everything so much more fun!
No worries 😁 Starting with a snare and hi hat would have actually been great for the development of your creativity in fills! Plus made you reliant on coming up with hi hat fills which I bet you have a lot more of than if you started with a full kit, and in my opinion hi hat fills are the best!
I do feel for you lefties, but it would be a bit too much to make all videos twice. The general rule for a left-hander is that you invert all the sticking, just change LEFT to RIGHT across everything
very useful and they sound great when i speed up and add simple ghost notes. nice teaching thank you bro!
Glad you enjoyed them mate!
These are some cool hi hat fills
Glad you like em mate!

Another nice one, keep em coming! (first time I see a '2 - 2 and a')
Yeh, missing the second 2 notes of a sextuplet can lead to an interesting count

Very nice!
Thanks mate 👍 👍
I bet the second might also be cool if the right hand were on the ride bell for the triplet...
Yeh, I reckon so as well
Super!

Show me for left hander

Thank you. This is perfect for a beginner like myself. Now I have a question. Are you making UA-cam videos in your underwear lol
Hahaha no they're just shorts, gotta beat the heat where I live. There is underwear beneath them also 👌
Your underbite should be on the other side overbite towards you on hi hat it will sounds more musical and save you some sticks bub great job otherwise
Cheers for the tip mate! 👍👍
